as you can see, there are no crits for barrier, and it is assumed to be used every 11.13 seconds.

Does this take into account the fact that Force Armor / Static Barrier is unaffected by Crit? Should a Sage/Sorc healer who relies on shielding a lot put anything into Power or Mastery instead?
As a concrete example, it's normal for one of my healers to maintain 3 (on the tanks and herself for the self heals). Typically that will mean refreshing every 20s on the tanks and every 30s on herself, plus some downtime for mechanics and stuff, so maybe estimate an average of use once every 10 seconds.

LOL you guys do this server upgrade to handle higher volumes and your high volume servers are crashing today.....what gives. Someone needs to rip on the techs a bit me thinks.....

Yep, just saw the line "Enhancements can no longer be crafted by Artificers, and are now exclusive to Cybertechs.
For these specific examples, these Crafting patterns have been completely removed from their respective Crafting Skill."

Will enhancements still be in archive for artificers? Seems strange old schemes are going away.
They better be. I have literally learned hundreds of enhancements, through every gear level. If they throw those away, I'm out.

It's been a good pet week for me
I finally got the last cartel pet I needed! My issue with the Pike will actually be resolved at some point in the future! The Crested Orokeet will eventually be mine! And I love the varactyl in the next pack!
Now if I could just get the Taunling from Gargath. I haven't succeeded in soloing him, and the one time I got into a group to take him down, no drop
What trouble are you running into soloing him? At 60 it's a joke, I don't even need to heal myself.

Hey folks,
Tait and I talked with the team regarding the issue of conquest rewards not being granted properly with Patch 3.3.1. Our plan at this time is to isolate those characters who should have received the reward. Once we know who they are we will generate a script, which once ran, will distribute the rewards to each of those characters.
I do not have an ETA on timing right now, but as soon as Tait or myself hear any updates we will pass them on! In the meantime you do not need to contact CS, as we will grant all of them at one time. Thanks!

As someone who's also familiar with most of the expanded universe:
1. That's not relevant, at all. It's the weakest argument from "authority" I've ever heard. You didn't even make an actual lore-based argument.
2. Virtually all of the EU has been invalidated and is non-canon.
3. BioWare is not going to do this much work just to appease one kid.
4. KotFE's launch is REALLY SOON. Even if they wanted to do this, and every single player wanted this, they can't do it.
5. Joining the Eternal Empire is not "dark" or "evil". The dark Inquisitor, for example, wants power for themselves -- not to be Valkorion's henchman.
6. Personally, I think the Community Cantina events should require attendees to have at least a semblance of proper grammar.

If a player is found to have had repeated warnings, character rating resets, and still continues this action, we are resetting the Ranked PvP rating of every character on their account.
How about you ban them just like you banned the people who continued to do PvE exploits despite warnings?

Can we call them up on here? I reported a few wintraders but ticket barely got open and a protocol droid gave me an auto response.
The will ALWAYS give an auto-response for these reports. Privacy laws absolutely forbid them from telling you about any actions taken towards specific players.

Can you not add the legacy trade warzone commendation boxes too? So having 1000s of comms on a geared character isn't completely useless?
It doesn't matter. No one sane will spend comms till 3.3 when gear becomes much cheaper, so transferring in order to buy stuff is unnecessary till then. And no one will hit the 200k cap, so transferring in order to avoid hitting the cap is also unnecessary.
In other words, not a single person will need to legacy trade comms before 3.3 hits -- at which point they will be able to do so to their heart's content.

We are discussing if the titles and mount rewards should be BoL in future seasons. The crystals and weapons are already BoL in previous/current seasons and that will stay the same moving forward. We would like you hear y'alls thoughts on the subject. Does seeing a mount or title on character that (at the extreme) doesn't PvP at all hurt the significance and exclusivity of the reward? Or is it enough to know that someone in the Legacy of that character worked to get the reward?
It should DEFINITELY be Legacy-wide. Characters don't play PvP, people do. The particular character they used isn't relevant to their skill or ability, and they should be able to use cosmetic things on a "cosmetic" character rather than the "functional" character!

so i just logged in to check and see if the Nightlife event achievements had been corrected, and mostly yes they had! that's great news! but i noticed i had the achievement for getting a Vectron Magnus... i don't have one... odd. at the same time i don't have the achievement for the Kingpin Rancor.. which i do have (and happened to be ridding when i checked too) so it appears that the mounts are giving achievements for each other and not for themselves. might want to look into that one guys!
(also i had previously made a separate thread for this (didn't know there was a thread in bugs section) sorry for double posting)
They are definitely not granting for each other, since I properly had the Magnus achieve re-granted and was not given the Rancor achieve that I never had
. Some other bug is at work. -
Thanks for the reports - we're looking into why the script didn't grant all the missing Achievements. I'll let you know when I get any update on a fix!
I am missing the achievement "Sound of Rain" but the rest were restored properly -- I am also missing the one for winning the rancor but I never had it in the first place

You don't pay for the developers to give you detailed feedback about their design process on the forums. They aren't required to do this. They can go silent all they want. I trust this is probably not your first MMO if you think that's an expectation, because the norm is the opposite.
I didn't say anything about my expectations -- my expectations of BW are completely in the toilet. I said they're not doing us a favor by communicating. They want money and would make more of it by talking to us in a decent manner. That's doing *themselves* a favor.
Besides that, though, your argument is specious. Just because most MMO support is garbage doesn't mean that's the way it should be, or that customers don't deserve and can't expect better.

The counts are basically random and have always been wrong since pre-release beta. I don't know why they don't at least disable the count since it's obvious they will never look into fixing it. You'd think it wouldn't be that hard to figure out how long a list is ... it's like CS 101.

Is this a meaningless statement, or is it going to be enforced now? Because up till now anyone who has been scammed has been told "too bad". Someone takes your mats and never sends you the item they agreed to vraft in exchange? CS will tell you that's your fault for using a crafter that you didn't know was trustworthy. Ops lead converts to Master Looter right before a boss kill and steals everything? No action taken, and if you call them out on the forums YOU will be banned.
