  1. I freed you on Belsavis. I demanded respect and you used your "fear" on me...and yet I rose from my knees, and stood before you, unaffected. You said "impossible!", you said I had potencial, you promised to teach me the darkest side of force. Instead... you unleashed terror upon the galaxy.

    It is time to hold you to the promise. I became stronger since our last meeting - horrors of Eternity Prison did not slowed me, Cartel mercenaries fell before me, your "tool" was useless against me, Styrak fell from my hand, show me the forces that you command! Madness?! Of course power comes with a price, you of all the Sith know that to be true!

    I am ready. I am willing. I am waiting.

  2. I'll drop and put my guild way of doing it as well. It is somewhat similar to the ways already proposed, with slight differences here and there. It goes as follows:

    Preparation.

    We have the following setup before starting the encounter:

    Blue color - healer + dps (melee dps if possible);

    Orange color - tank + dps (range if possible);

    Purple color - healer + dps (any dps would suffice);

    Yellow color - tank + dps (range if possible. If you only have 1 range dps, he or she should be on this color);

    Healers and tanks are channeling the consoles / buttons, while dps are staying in the middle of the room.

    Blue phase.

    People with blue colors 1st kill their probes while everyone are killing the initial pack of adds. The encounter itself does not start before you start the 1st channel, so you have all the time in the world to clean the room from adds and thus making it a very easy phase.

    Orange phase

    People with orange color start the channel right away. Probe Nr.1 is killed by the dps in the middle during the phase (usually right at the start), tank kills his probe after the channeling is done. During this phase we have only 1 tank available and 2 healers. As soon as Regulator spawns, 1 healer and the middle dps focus him down. 1 healer will manage to heal the tank on that mob, but if you struggle, 2nd healer can do a heal or 2. By the time Regulator 2 spawns, 1st one is already dead or at around 10-20%. He dies fast and than people switch on 2nd Regulator.

    Purple phase

    Around the time 1st Regulator dies, purple phase starts. As I mentioned, 1 healer is enough to heal through 1 of them, so 2nd healer goes to channel. Dps switch and 2nd Regulator is killed by the "purple" dps. On top of that, you have 2 tanks available, so they can easily switch the aggro between themselves.

    Yellow phase

    Same as the orange one. Tank goes to channel, dps in the middle + 1healer are focusing Regulators as they spawn. 1 thing to mention, there may be a lot of little adds running around from the purple phase. Dps should focus them 1st, since they can cause much more problems than Reglators. At the yellow phase, the idea is to kill the cores ASAP, both regulators can be alive when the boss spawns. 2 healers should be enought to keep the tank alive, just remember to interrupt their ability.

    Transition / 2nd phase start.

    "Yellow" tank picks up the boss when it spawns, does the taunt + couple abilities, than goes and kills his probe. Dps + 2nd tank are focusing on remaining Regulators. After they are dead, resume your standart procedure for phase2 of the fight.

    Additional pointers.

    • Spread dps between the cores. 1 dps on 1 core, 2 dps on 2nd core. If your dps are good, when 1 core will die that solo-dps should bring his to around 60-40%. So 1 dps can go to the middle right away (usually the next "color phase" person) and help with the adds, while another dps goes to help with the remaining core;

    • I cannot say that enough - Regulators MUST be interrupted. Tank can solo interrupt 1 of them, so if the 2nd one spawns while 1st is still up, healer or dps should be on interrupt duty;

    • Positioning. Range dps can attack the cores almost from the consoles, minimizing the travel time between the cores. That might not be much, but every extra second helps, especially on later phases.

    • Blood thirst. If you have 1, use it on yellow phase;

    • Feel free to fail purple phase on purpose. It will give you the extra edge on yellow phase.

    Hope that helps. Feel free to ask any additional questions.

  3. As I can gather, your group is struggling with the 1st phase, a.k.a. "cores". I can describe the way we do it and you can see / adjust from there.

  4. What is your most favorite item you have earned?

    Personal Answer: By far the Xenotech Enforcer's Jacket (The White Imperial Officer Chest). I will never change my Agent's look again, I just continue to mod this out. :wea_09:

    I just love and adore that jacket. I keep it on my juggernaut tank and mercenary instead of the heavy armor, because I like it that much.

    Personal answer -> the mainhand lightsaber from Kaon called "Honor". At the time it was 1 of the very few ligthsabers with the crystal at the end of its hilt and I very like the looks of it. Now, even though it has no glow or additional animation like the new ones (cartel market sabers), it has a cool name and probably it is more rare than any of the cartel ones :D

  5. I'll share my horror story as well.

    It was Battle of Ilum, we had an operative healer and was wiping on every single boss. When we actually killed any of the bosses, some people were lost in the process and the remaining ones were close to dying. As it turned out, healer was - and i quote - "semi-healing specced". When asked what is that spec, he replied 10/31/0. THAT was his understanding of healing spec (he did not even had kolto probes). Best part, he blamed us - tank / dpses and said that he healed Denova HM no problem (that was the time when Denove NiM and Asation SM/HM wasn't in the game yet).

    Also, been running a lot of LI lately as my shadow tank and I gotta say, if you want to loose your faith in humanity - do LI via groupfinder.

  6. I'm going to cheat and say Cartel Warlords, specifically Captain Horric. Everyone is killing him 1st due to his "Spray and Prey", but we decided to let him live to see the 2nd phase ability. Permanent "cannon fire of death" that requires constant raid movement and careful positioning of the remaining boss ? - yes, please!

    Even though we wiped and people requested that we clear the boss "normal and boring" way, once that expansion goes live, Horric will be killed "fun and dangerous" way :p

  7. Greetings, <Floor Inspectors> representative here.

    We are always looking for new recruits and we contain many members with different approaches to the game (PvE, PvP, social, casual). Feel free to check our website and maybe you will want to join.

    In-game, feel free to contact Leravulan / Mjade / Sazed / Aragorias with any additional questions.

  8. Got 2d 4h XXmins on my last 50 (powertech, pyro specced)

    Unfortunately no screenshot available :\

    Was leveling pure PvE, no space missions, avoided heroic quests, no PvP, skipped a lot of planetary quest dialogue (it gets boring for 7th time :D ), but listened to class story. Also, got around 40+ datacrons in the process :p

  9. Greetings yet again. It is such a bother, to have account issues when your post is needed :p

    It seems there have been some misunderstanding in regards to us and our Dreadtooth atempt. We did not kill him.

    For some reason, it seems people think we did. If Cyntia's post with "well done" for Outbreak and us was in regards to the kill, we didn't deserve it, since no actual kill happened. If it was just for organizing a 24-man raid for Dreadtooth - I guess it's the thought that counts :p

    As far as griefing in that day... can we just drop the subject already ? People are so fixated on who did what and who wiped what (talking about Empire side here) and go on and on about how it all went to hell because of that. But let's face the truth -> we would not kill it that day with the setup we had. Regardless if "additional obstacles" were present or absent. I would feel bad if our atempts were going somewhere and then someone would compromise them. That time however, those were just "mechanics and tactic practise", not actual progression/kill atempt.

    If anyone who was with us on that atempt will want to argue, contact me in-game. I'll provide my set of reasons why it was impossible that time.

    So I propose we stop with the hate. Facts are there. <Friendly Fire> got the kill (server 1st if I am not mistaken) while we did not. Focus on what went wrong -> improve on that -> get the kill laterZ. Or continue bashing people, that will drastically improve the execution of fight tactics :p

    P.S. I take my Karraga's hat off to you guys and girls at <Friendly Fire> on that world 1st Xenoanalyst 16-man HM (I think it was world 1st, no ?), that was very well done indeed.

  10. Ah, it is so nice to see the spirit of friendship, help and mutual respect that is just filling the air around here...

    On a more serious note, congratulations to "Friendly fire" on 20%. Also, we didn`t even get to 50%. 57% was our best try (ironically, it was the very 1st try as well). So far as buffs go, we were curious and pleasantly surprised when we saw that the boss was at 10-stack already (no need for us to waste the essences). Now we know how he got there :D

    As griefing toward your atempts, I can say that it wasn't us. If you actually saw <Floor Inspectors> guild-tag under that person's nickname, I can assure you, that person behaved on his/her own initiative and we didn't know about it.

    Also, I am full aware of "Friendly Fire"s progression and that they are one of the top (probably THE top) PvE progression guild on our server/world. Plus, some people said that Elidhu is world's top sorc, sorry, sage :) (even though I dissagree, since that place is taken by yours truly :p - a best sorcerer no one ever heard about). Don't go boosting about your progress, everyone who needs already know this (even though I understand that Ara's post was very provoking for you due to it's content and nature), show us a proper example.

    Damn, that took a while, now to the Dreadtooth himself.

    It was impossible for us to get the kill, since opposite faction members just aoe'd the group and interfered in almost all ways possible. With PvP healing reduction debuff on the whole raid, fight became impossible to heal through. Smash -> rock throw -> person gets deleted. Worst thing, no way we can avoid it, since assassins, sorry, shadows just stealth through and pop and aoe on us, PvP debuffing everyone.

    I know it's a PvP server and all that, but there is a difference between world PvP/ganking and deliberate fun ruining for 24 people. You ask me, if one person can successfully wipe 24 people with no way for 24 to prevent it -> something is wrong here. Also, if you have nothing better to do than to ruin the day of 24 people trying to acomplish something you never will -> you are a sad sad person :(

    To those who will be trying Dreadtooth 10-stack, good luck and hopefully you will not get griefed.

    P.S. If any republic guild will be atempting Dreadtooth at 5+ stacks but is missing a tank, I am available (shadow tank, close to BiS - 26,500+ health unstimmed, 26/46/62 defence stats). Feel free to contact Leravu'lan on republic side. ;)

    P.P.S. Probably some typos and mistakes in there that I didn't noticed, sorry 'bout that :D

  12. Right before the "breath" Kephess knowck the tank he`s currently facing back. This knock back puts a debuff on the tank, which will kill that tank if he takes ANY amount of damage. The whole idea is to get that debuff, get "breath" and swith the tanks, so that the tanks with 2 debuffs ("insta-kill" one and "breath") runs around spawning circles, while other one is handling Kephess. If Kephess knocks back 2 people, both of them will get a debuff. So work on your taunt/positioning and you won`t have any problems.

    P.S. Tank should taunt Kephess during the cast of the "breath".

  13. It is very easy with 2 sorcs actually:

    You put bubbles on everyone like you said, right before the 3rd phase starts. Than, both tanks run away from the raid (also you can include 3rd person, merc/sniper/1healer if you wish) to the max range possible, since those AoE`s seem to prefer people standing farther away. Rest, dps and heals, just stack up on the boss and dps. With 2 sorc healers (2 healing puddles of awesome) it will be very easy to heal.

    Granted, sometimes aoe`s land on top of people standing close, but those can be avoided and healed through.

    Hope this helps :)
