  1. Update: @KeiralynHalcyon is finally able to get on her main account after two weeks. Thank you...finally. @NikkeiSimmer is now breathing a huge sigh of relief. @KeiralynHalcyon is now annoyed because she just put a sub on her secondary F2P account. 🤣 Well, hey...she's got two subbed accounts now. 😁👍
  2. Which shinier armors? I don't tend to buy a lot of stuff on the Cartel Market. Secondly my wife hasn't got any of the "newer" armors on her characters and is having this problem of being unable to get in to her account. I'm sorry, the only stuff I have bought on the GTN recently was my Jedi Consular's outfit which is only used in Outfitter. And that's an older outfit.
  3. @OwenBrooks I'll send my DxDiag to @JackieKo if she requests it as an outlier sample of someone who can get in. Right now she mentioned that she only wants people affected by being UNABLE to get into their accounts (like my wife's account @KeiralynHalcyon).
  4. Bull****. I have 24 out of 26 characters active and all dressed. And I'm able to get in. Did you even bother to take a look at the bottom of the character selection menu or shall I blow it up for you. Exactly where in the menu system can you find a character selection that displays ALL your characters in one page? Last I knew SWTOR didn't have a character selection screen like that where you scroll to find your characters to play.
  5. @OwenBrooks, OK...tell me why others on better systems than mine can't get in... MY SPECS Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 Manufacturer: Intel Corporation Chip type: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family DAC type: Internal Device Type: Full Device (POST) Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1912&SUBSYS_07A31028&REV_06 Device Status: 0180200A [DN_DRIVER_LOADED|DN_STARTED|DN_DISABLEABLE|DN_NT_ENUMERATOR|DN_NT_DRIVER] Device Problem Code: No Problem Driver Problem Code: Unknown Display Memory: 8261 MB Dedicated Memory: 128 MB Shared Memory: 8133 MB Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz) HDR Support: Not Supported This is currently what I'm looking at RIGHT now. So since my Intel integrated graphics chip is so "incapable of rendering high-resolution graphics"...then tell me why I'm playing my game right now and others with way better systems aren't capable of getting into their account? Yeah, I may be pleased as a bug in a rug that I'm able to play my game right now but my wife @KeiralynHalcyon is locked out of her account with this issue and I'm p***** off. I want some answers and barking up the wrong tree claiming that "everybody who has problems has an inefficient system" is not the solution - because MY inefficient system is running just bloody peachy. But my skin in this thread is I wanna be running missions and heroics with her being able to access HER account instead of her having to start ALL OVER!
  6. @JackieKo - I have sent @KeiralynHalcyon's DxDiag to communitysupport@swtor.com - for them to pore over. My wife has had to resurrect a long-dormant account in order to play (starting over from scratch). She's so frustrated that she can't play on her old account that she's tossed up her hands and is just passively waiting it out. I'm going to be more proactive because I'm absolutely *****d that she can't play. So hence the reason why it's ME that is sending you HER DxDiag as requested. 😡 I'm fed up because I want my wife to be able to access her currently inaccessible account with her OLD characters to run missions with me We were running L80s together in some of the expansion missions and now she's stuck at L16 on an account that had no characters and she has to build EVERYTHING up from scratch.
  7. @JackieKo, @KeiralynHalcyon is so fed up and irritated with not being able to access her account right now and she's not familiar with the technical aspects of dealing with pulling out a DxDiag. So I told her how and asked her to send her DxDiag to me and I'll send it to you. This is @KeiralynHalcyon's DxDiag information below. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 3/15/2024, 17:21:43 Machine name: FEATHER Machine Id: {1479161B-9D7B-427B-8CE1-E3907A7012BB} Operating System: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 22621) (22621.ni_release.220506-1250) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: TOSHIBA System Model: TECRA Z40-B BIOS: Version 3.40 (type: UEFI) Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5600U CPU @ 2.60GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.6GHz Memory: 8192MB RAM Available OS Memory: 8088MB RAM Page File: 19669MB used, 3008MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 12 DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled Miracast: Available, with HDCP Microsoft Graphics Hybrid: Not Supported DirectX Database Version: 1.5.0 DxDiag Version: 10.00.22621.0001 64bit Unicode ------------ DxDiag Notes ------------ Display Tab 1: No problems found. (41 KB left) @NikkeiSimmer's DxDiag - Thought you might want to do a side-by-side comparison with the DxDiag of someone who can access their account and play. @KeiralynHalcyon is my wife and we play on the same internet connection. I have no problems accessing my account and playing. I have over 20 characters in my account on Star Forge. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 3/15/2024, 17:35:12 Machine name: DESKTOP-T9GSTUM Machine Id: {F5057C64-7498-4B55-AAA7-B1ADB7CB074F} Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 19045) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Dell Inc. I do not understand why I can get on and why my wife is having problems with her subbed account? This CANNOT be a graphics problem. This CANNOT be a hardware issue.
  8. @Keirowyn, I can get into Star Forge on my computer (Intel HD integrated graphics) and get playing, so it has to be an account issue for certain players. I was on it yesterday until my game got intermittently cut off by our own (house) crappy internet connection. It took until today late afternoon for it to be resolved and I haven't tried going in yet again, but I'll bet dollars to donuts that I can get in just fine. which royally p***** @KeiralynHalcyon off immensely because she can't get into her subbed account. I'm also subbed atm.
  9. My wife hates the fact that "I can play"...and FYI. I have an Intel chip in my computer and I'm on "integrated graphics". So that means the problem isn't entirely graphics-related. I'm leaning more towards the coding. If @KeiralynHalcyon can't get in...and I can and we're on the same internet connection...just different computers because we both play at the same time and sometimes help each other out... If certain people can get in that have Intel chipsets and integrated graphics... These are questions that go against the grain of the usual... It's Intel graphics and integrated chips that are causing the problem excuse. It's not the case. Some of us are able to get in and play.
  10. It isn't completely Intel-wide. If everyone that had Intel graphics had the problem then maybe that would be the issue, but I have an Intel HD 530 on my computer (integrated graphics). And I'm staring at my character selection screen right now. And a few seconds later, I'm "in-game". So it's not Intel graphics-wide. ...and frankly, it's annoying the rest of us who "can't play" like my wife who has to watch ME play while she can't get into her game.
  11. Again, this is not a "graphics" issue, it's an account issue. Certain accounts are able to get in like mine. Others are hanging at the loading splash screen like my wife's. We are both on the same internet connection on separate computers. Her graphics settings are set to high because of her specs. Mine are set to mid because of my system's limitations. That's not the issue. And if the game hangs at the loading splash screen, then even if it was a graphics situation, how is it supposed to be resolved...if you can't get into the game to fix it (for those who have the problem at the name password point)?
  12. @KeiralynHalcyon's husband here. Unfortunately this "unable to log-in due to hanged loading screen" seems to be a major issue for a lot of players. One of the main reasons why I switched to Steam was so that the issue I had with the name-password-security key enter screen was too large when I was running SWTOR through Bioware's version and I was unable to access the security key (which I keep specifically for the 100CC/mo that it gives you). Of course being impatient, I googled possible fixes and ended up going to Steam which resolved the issue. I'm not sure what's causing the hanged loading screen after character selection-play or whether it extends to "after initial log-in" as well. The only thing to do I guess is wait and hope that it gets resolved; which for subbed players is an affront. Paying to sit there and wait while your sub lapses isn't what was signed up for.
