Agree something needs to be done. DK chat is known for the dregs of topics being discussed at this stage and its not something Star Wars fans should be proud of. The game is meant for a mature audience but its far from mature and is often very inappropriate.
Its now spilled over on to Nar Shaddah on account of the Nightlife event and its just a pain.
Time to have a moderator present in the game to cut down on some of the more abusive content. If you are not going to do that then blocking of chat should have an option for all the objectionable players characters to be blocked on all the offended player's characters in a single click - not a full time job of blocking 1 v 1.
Don't want to be the fun police but this is just sad.

You know, you can right-click at the top of the chat box and just un-check "general" chat from the list and other chats such as guild, party, etc, will still display.

problem is this days ppl are raised and taught to be snowflakes like i so comment on facebook from a white lady how 1want to theater and 1guy played African American (well its actors job) and she went off how offended she was and how disgusting and racist this is and that she almost left (it was a community page so i could comment there) i laughed my *** off world is full of snowflakes even the ones that don't like truth and science facts stopping here won't go in to details or this discussion could light up on fire
and don't want to start this type of argument right newthey won't ban their subs and or ppl who use cartel shop unless they do something they really don't tolerate

bit off topic but still about bug i want to say sometimes in DLC there is issue some usable things not working untill i travel to stronghold and back or relog example Yavin war-table to start conversation with ppl and when i went to recruit Kaliyo and got to her apartment the speedster car didn't work its not that it didn't work the mouse cursor should became fist with finger or how to describe it it was ordinary arrow and i couldn't click on it it has happened 2 times in this month 1 was in shadow of reven and other time in fallen recruiting kaliyo her speedster

Dunno if this can help or maybe its been said before but i've recently played with graphic (normally using EVERYTHING on super low) cause i wanted a well made screenshot.
i liked the effects caused by BLOOM and tried to let it activated during play sessions....its been the first time ever i got some trouble in that room...
i know that everything seems soooo different and bad without bloom, but worth a try
issue with my screenshot is that it was like that after upload it was simple with no options
i have bloom off and no lighting settings

title fix: alliance war room flag lighting
cause of new lighting that was not there in Jan that light the flags i feel massive FPS drop near how to call it alliance war table and no i don't have potato pc sins i have played much stronger game then this dying light 1example and this game should run smooth even in lower grade machine then mine just reporting a minor issue ofc a certain holocall in hoth when i did hoth arc missions also made FPS drop when my hole screen was that holocall zoomed in more then usual but that's only the dur of the holocall a bit FPS drom is in onslaught on the place where u go to get fuel that city when crossing the bridge and certain places (ofc i heard a lot have that issue, common), but i thing larger holocalls over all make fps drop somewhat but not as much as the lighting in war room
the lighting is not normal like here this shows how it was before

its much brighter almost like its metal and its outside and sun is reflecting the light ofc its been for a month or so at-least

ofc maybe this new lighting can be turned off to i half to check, the image isn't the best but still can see the lighting issue perfectly

If you create a "start at 60" character, that character starts from the *beginning* of KotFE, ready to make his or her first-play choices. To be sure, you cannot choose how things went in the class story and companion stories, but if you are trying to lock a romance with Lana, you don't need to do that. Just grab a "Commander's Character" token from the Cartel Market, claim it, use it, and then log out to the character select screen and press the *middle* button: https://i.imgur.com/EKGZN0o.jpg
The top button is an insta70 that has already played through KotFE/ET, and the bottom is a start-at-1 that begins on the starter planet.
how much that costs? i like to fix it but if i buy it may may not be able to sub next time i have separate acc for gaming that gets a little bit from my mane acc awry month (it has to w8 and collect a bit) also if its caused by patch they should give it free ppl talk about it patches removing romance to fic romance
u mean new char made for kotfe has no past no default choices like when u skip dlc and says ur past missions will be considered complete... clean slate?
but it sucks if he doesn't get the supply boxes needed for star fortress story

I don't think the poster meant an exact clone, but if you did want to clone a character you would start by going to an Appearance Modification Station and writing down the 'numbers' for all the sliders.
Then start a new character of the same class and set the sliders to the same numbers.
The new character would, of course, be a separate character and no choices they made would affect the original.
by clone i mean to replay from fallen empire with past choices so i won't get default choices cause its same char hes done, when i create fallen empire char i get default choices and i don't want that, i need a way to replay that part and fix a thing, my char design is ruined can't romance any1 new i discovered that my rom with lana what i planed was screwed way 2late cause i thought it was done deal and new i can't get even Nadia sins she is back already i refuse to start from class story again i played class story way to much got sick of it
if i could restart onslaught and take nadia then i could do switch go for lana with my sage and the shadow who lost the chance with lana gets nadia
i may half to risk and test what happens if i randomly chose a chapter just to delete onslaught from my mission log will it restart it or restart from Iokath like puts iokath back to my ships mission terminal
if fallen char creation had answering question part i would do that to set my choices there i mean then i would consider remaking a char there if i also would get like 20 of each (alien, artifact, military, smuggler) alliance supply boxes if (if i can make the past choices in char creation and make new char) cause they are needed for star fortress story arc and i don't like to farm them unless i play class story and get from there from doing HC+2 runs later i don't like to do it it feels like a shore no fun so for story i don't farm and cause my other chars before even have not gotten enough of them i haven't done star fortress with them cause getting just 1 of 1type from HC or 2 is not enough if i get 1 from each ok that's ok not 2much and not 2low number neither the last part is just small complaint that that is not enough and 1 is not even worth replaying the HC to farm it

how u make a clone of ur char? i like to clone so i could do all the fallen empire missions with same choices i made in base game and previous DLC's no default choices like when u make new fallen char but ofc to same server that i am currently i need to copy/clone my char thereSadly, there's no way to reset and revisit your original story. Your best bet is to create a clone and run it all again.i hope u don't mean this

but relying chapters deletes ur previous mission meaning no onslaught so it should be possible to start from Iokath? that's what i mean pick any chapter and accept it and it deletes ur main mission so u half to go in ur ship to ur mission terminal and accept iokath again rewriting all after eternal throne all between iokath and onsaught has any1 tried it?

cause Lana's romance is Fed up i was thinking of getinig Nadia but i missed that part does restarting onsaught give me the option again? option to start romance its my shadow i could redo lana with my sage or it it hard lock like chapter 9 for lana that redoing it won't give u a chance?
i think it can be reset even with accepting last chapter of eternal throne or any chapter u randomly chose

thats what i also like to know sins my romance with lana is Fed i discovered it 2late and 2late to get nadia sins i got her and didn't chose the romance option so my shadow is single new
i could use restart onslaught option with it also removing nadia cause if she is not removed i won't be able to redo romance choice so far from testing replaying chapters with my sorc i discovered romance locks are hard saves at least in fallen empire and eternal to it to work there should be erase chapter button cause overwrite doesn't workwith onsalught restart i could somewhat save my char

KOTFE Chapter 10 Cantina – Chose (flirt) I need to speak to one of you, and chose Lana. Then I chose (flirt) It isn’t important.
Now from everything I’ve found online after the fact, this should be have been where I received the “Warning – This choice will begin a romance” box that locked in my romance with Lana however I didn’t get that warning box. I just got a few more lines of dialog and a kiss scene fade to black then back to the cantina to talk with Theron.
KOTFE 10-16 – NO FLIRT OPTIONS AVAILABLE (Figured it was no time for flirting)
KOTET 1-6 – NO FLIRT OPTIONS AVAILABLE
It was at this point I realised something was definitely wrong and checked Lana’s character tab and found out that not only weren’t we in a relationship but all the decision flags that I’d made that affected her had been deleted apart from 2.
Now if that series of events is the Lana Beniko romance working as intended as tech support claims then the game designers have a lot to answer for, but hey it's apparently not a bug.
u got 1 detail wrong 1-8 flirt and 9 beginning Cantina romance lock, but i get it even my memory plays tricks at times

I think we can conclude that the devs are in fact incompetent at their jobs, and that they have no intention of fixing their problems because they couldn't give a **** about players. Very insightful
more like they don't care as long as ppl keep subbing once ppl start to talk with their wallets they start to care like unsubbing for a year

if creating a fallen empire char would give me option to import my other chars choices i would consider fallen empire char or if i game would ask me questions that i can set my choices in char creation but i don't think there is any of this 2 options in char creation, i don't want to start from zero and i don't want to start with default choices
consular shadow onslaught finished farms so no way to romance any1 anymore cause Nadia is also already back

and new i don't feel like playing playing mood killed quite a pickle isn't it

but i have sage to so if i could restart onslaught and pick up Nadia again maybe it lets me romance her cause i missed the point if i could i could do a switch try romance lana with sage and go for Nadia with shadow but i don't think there is a option to restart onslaugh if there were i could somewhat save the situation, but arean with sorc was nightmare so it won't be different with sage i bet i lasted maybe 3 or 4 matches so i had to do a lot of runs cause sage is so squshy sage needs 1 extra companion i mean the arena where u free the wookie

maybe redoing a cpater would delete onslaught but then it mite go away permanently unless onslaught goes to my ship mission terminal but i think it would delete onslaught permanently unless it start again from iokath that i need to go and get it from my ships mission terminal

shadow was unable to beat the last boss the grand champion there was 2much stuff going on and couldn't deal with that all so i focused on only hitting boss and avoiding hes strong attacks but there were a lot of adds at 1point so i was no longer able to take the damage sins my healer companion was killed by then

The people that I've seen claiming it works have all done the replay on Veteran. And it might not be enough to fix a missing option 2.
i don't think u can once u have past that point like comp chap 9 and 10 or more at least my sorc chap14 and tested it there should be 2 options when playing first time that say i want to talk to 1of u one has (flirt) but when u replay it it automatically says it without giving me a option when i replay it this part is hard save once u pass it ur either screwed or in romance depending on ur choice

but also could be cause of patches like some say that it cause cancellation of romance at times with DLC NPC's
ofc when it comes to sorc my memory could be wrong but i remember canceling and doing the Cantina conversation again with right options but did i get romance lock new that part is more foggy

If you're talking about Chapter IX of KotFE, remember that it isn't really fully complete until you *begin* Chapter X and get the (small) reward for finishing IX, and that if you abandon a chapter before it is fully complete, the game (reasonably enough) discards the decisions you made up to that point in it.
If by "the droid" you mean the one for "An Error In Alliance Records", that one applies *only* in a very narrow circumstance that is no longer possible to trigger, and was a sort of recompense for people affected by a bug in the final cutscenes of Nathema Conspiracy, where the game just plain forgot a very important decision you made. The bug was rapidly fixed, and the mission added to allow players to repair affected characters. (As a consequence, everyone who had passed through the decision in question could change or not their decision, even if the previous decision was to not ask the very important question... It's the only time so far that they've added a way to revise a previous decision.)
he/she is talking about the droid that was made for ppl who were ceated out of proposal scene after nethans flashpoint so if u completed it and din't get to option then droid appeared outside ur was room on the platform H1-R1, i don't think it exists anymore i think that bug was fixed so if u get to that point there should be no problems, new there is just the thing with patches sometimes patching removes romance flags with DLC NPC's as ppl have reported

i think if ur not completed fallen empire u could overwrite some choices well dialogue 100% and get influence with different companion this time not feeling like testing it deeply like from chap1
i did have a choice to kill the dying scion guy he survived arcan crawled out of there while we were fighting but i didn't take the option so who knows how much it allows to rewrite story but i don't think it allows to rewrite 2much

Replaying chapters doesn't affect the choices.
As far as I know.
The choices are locked in after the first story run through.
Not sure what to do in a bugged romance situation.

good thing i did it with this char sins consular is in onslaught and if it removes cancels the mission my consular would have been royally Fed up cause its not like it exists in chapter menu

No. Once a chapter is marked "first play complete", if you replay it, the decisions you make during the replay are discarded. (Note: again, I'm talking about for one character. If a different character makes its own "first play", that character can decide differently and write its own story, but, just like the first, cannot rewrite it afterwards.
The thing that people forget about the chapters is that replaying them is like replaying a flashpoint, with the wrinkle that no flashpoint so far contains (in its repeatable mode) any "lasting" decisions.
The interaction box contains only stuff that happens for that companion *after* the beginning of KotFE. The class-companion story interactions during the class story, therefore, are not shown. When they return, the post-return interactions are shown. (That is, it will show the renewal of the previous romance, but not the previous romance itself.)
OK, one last thing, and this is not directed specifically at you, but I'm sticking it here because it is closely related to this discussion. Back in the day, before 4.0 came out, people on the forums were often vocal about wanting decisions that mattered, that affected stuff, etc.
4.0 (KotFE) gave us that, and veterans of the forums will recall the immediate fall-out from that. People suddenly realised that in fact they did not really want decisions that mattered(1), but instead "decisions that matter and that I can change them", which are, in effect, "decisions that don't matter because I can change them if I don't like the consequences".
I'm reluctant to speculate on the reasons, but I think it's partially related to people thinking of SWTOR as a single-player RPG with MMO bits added on, rather than the other way around. Single player RPGs can have silly stuff like save-and-restore, which make no sense at all for MMORPGs. That makes any form of decision-change a difficult proposition.
