That seems to indicate that even when we get our own choice, we're losing 2 really important tanking abilities.

 

I believe their reasoning for putting that is for the PTS pre-set discipline stuff.

You have the choice because you are a neutral party, i believe its like the initial choice upon character creation, will investigate.
