  1. F2P Dosent fix the underlying problem of Swtor.

Swoop Racing, Multiple Mini-game Gambling (Pazzak, Dejark, etc), Constant Random Event System (Like every day a different event happens giving us access to daily's or something with unique prizes only obtainable from that specific event, and they would repeat randomly), Last but Definitely not least, a Much Better Space System - bioware should take a look at EVE Online.

Swoop racing, mini-game gambling..... sound like you should check out the social gaming on Facebook.

  2. its not really viable. You can only post, but can't bump or you will be warned.

We are trying to recruit now and we are finding it very tough to do. Our recruitment officer is currently whispering people on a one to one basis.

We need a basic guild list per server that people can read and find reference to the guild website.

If all you do is have the same person bump the thread with a standard "bump" message, they yes you will be warned, and justifiably so. Try having different people post real messages, like current and upcoming guild activities, fond memories of past activities, etc. With a little thought and good timing, you can keep that thread going current for quite a while with valid content.

Many servers do have lists of guilds in the forums. Individuals from those servers have taken it upon themselves to manage the lists. If your server doesn't have such a list yet, maybe your recruitment officer should start one and incorporate it into your recruitment strategy.

  3. I'm sorry to point this out, but it is my understanding that the lekku are part of the brain. By that fact, if I were twilek, I would make sure my lekku were good and protected right from the start in any combat situation. I don't think I'd want them hanging out any more than..... certain other things.
  4. EVE would like a word with you.

EVE is a very different game with very different requirements. When you boil it all down, EVE has a few graphics for different ships and a few different graphics for different systems, stations, etc. Sure, you customize your character, then that's the last you actually see it. It's hidden away inside a pod, inside a ship. It doesn't run around planets and shoot things or anything else.

Don't get me wrong. I like EVE. I have played EVE before and I will probably play EVE again. But it is a very different game, both from the player side and from the program side, and you just can't compare them.

  5. Seems like everyone is complaining about classes right now, I've actually wandered out the trooper forum to try and find a class who aren't complaining as I plan on starting a new character. My journey continues ... :)

Somebody is always going to be complaining about something. If you are looking for a class that everybody likes and nobody complains about, you might as well just give up now and save your money.

  6. It is very simple. If you interfere with the droid and steal the documents from it, you are violating Republic law. That is a "bad" thing. Being a rational, thinking being, you can chose to do a bad thing for a good reason, but it is still a bad thing. If you cast a black spell for a good purpose, you still get demon smut on your soul. Deal with it.
  7. Datacrons are certainly useful, and the codex entries activated by them are quite interesting (to me, at least), but they are in no way, shape, or form required or necessary. Properly equipping your character will do far more good than all the datacrons you can collect.
