Okay, I think this is a new one since I've never ran into it before.
Once I activate my Heroic Moment and the timer lapses, the abilities just stick around and I get an 'Invalid Ability' message whenever I try and use them.
Is this an intentional, or accidental change??

Okay, I just entered the Blood Hunt Flashpoint and my Shae Vizla companion isn't allowed to be at my side. Is this due to the fact that she's the final boss of the Flashpoint, or some weird bug? I am so confused...

Okay, maybe it was a small slip-up, but Hallowed Voice's er, well voice, was that of a Rakata instead of his normal Esh-ka one during the scene right before you find 'The First Son'.

Can we get a fix on the Diplomacy crew skill missions anytime soon?
Surely, they weren't meant to give both Light and dark side points when all others only give whatever alignment you've chosen, were they?
This is an annoyance when the player want a true lightside or darkside character. Now, I know that there are some who will say 'Easy, just don't choose Diplomacy.' except that there is a legacy achievement for all crew skills.

I have this theory about the Rakghouls and the Rakghoul Plague. Now here me out before you dismiss the idea, okay?
My theory is this, what if the Rakghoul plague is the result of a scientist's failed attempt at trying to repopulate the galaxy with Dashade and a psychotic Sith decided to alter the formula without the scientist's knowing about it, which mutated it into the virus we deal with today on Taris and during the Rakghoul Events?
What are your thoughts? Am I going mad, or does that theory sound plausible to anyone else?

okay, I know that Qyzen isn't technically a robe wearing type of Lizard-man, but what I don't get is why normally the robes I have him in look their normal tan and brown colorization, yet in cutscenes they look as if I put Sith Robes on him! Is he an evil character, or is it some type of visual bug!?

After finishing Ossus on my Sith Warrior I have duplicate copies of Lt. Pierce, Broonmark and 2V-R8. Is this happening to anyone else?
*Correction it happens right after you pick up the quest inflection point
With Pierce, it shows him as a lieutenant and as a major for me...

then you are among the unique. it was well tested and documented when it went live on the steam platform, and I tested it again before I posted to make sure it had not changed in the weeks since I last tried it.
well, I play maximized windowed since my monitor has issues displaying fullscreen and in the area next to the date/time, it shows the 'hidden', or background programs that are running and the steam icon is clearly displayed.

Title says it all since sometimes when I have stealth activated, I can still aggro trash mobs when the skill clearly is meant for non-detection.
I can understand the droids since they COULD be equipped with infrared sensors which would allow them to detect body heat.

Hi there.
Yesterday I started KOFTE and I am really frustrated because all my companions are gone... I have invested a lot, especially in Kira Carsen and T7-O1 and now I just don't have them.
Can you please tell me if I can get them back? And how can I do it?
I'm interested to get back all my companions, but especially:
- Kira Carsen
- T7-O1
- Lord Scourge
- Doc
- Sargent Fideltan Rusk
- C2-N2
- Shae Vizla

Shae Vizla is still in your list man, you just have to use predetermined companions for the KotFE/KotET expansions.
Now for Kira and Scourge, you will get them after the Onslaught expansion, the rest I do believe that they are via Alliance Alerts, which you can pull from most of the other companions across all 8 class stories. Now there are a few that are gotten through the chapters though.

Another idea, strange question, but about what time are you encountering this at?
Since you specified Satele Shan, it's possible you're running into a recent problem some of us on Satele and Star Forge have encountered where, about nine-thirty PM Eastern, the game suddenly decides to lag down to a crawl (at best) and the period of time in which this happens lasts until anywhere from ten-thirty to even midnight.
It's hard to say since I have no clue what timezone you are referring to. I'm currently in the eastern US timezone.

lol, well, the logic is not strong in that conclusion, but have you tried to do a repair on the game? It could be some corrupted files that weren't there before causing that crash.
Tried that before posting.

Has anything changed on your system, updated, etc, since you finished the mission on SF?
Not that I've noticed, but Windows does love to roll out updates with telling people...

I'm at the end of my Inquisitor story on Corellia and it just freezes right as Thanaton starts his long-winded speech...

Okay, I'm trying to get legendary status on Satele Shan and I've managed to complete the main class story on everything except for Consular and Inquisitor.
Well, on my Inquisitor, I get up to the end of Corellia and Thanaton starts his long-winded speech before the game just ups and stops responding. I know that it's not my computer since I've completed the story on Starforge without any problems, so what the heck is going on here!?

have you tried accessing the launcher directly in the "..\steamapps\common\Star Wars - The Old Republic" folder?
Steam itself does not have to be running to access the launcher or to play
Actually, it does. It just opens up in the background.

Hello,
Given that they are adding more members to the types of companions from certain species, examples being 2x Wookies, 2x Dashade, 2x (or more!) HK droids, perhaps this trend should be expanded with another Astromech Droid companion? T7-O1 seems to be a little lonely!
I had a thought that maybe as part of the storyline, the Commander could recruit a secondary droid to T7 in the form of a FEMALE IMPERIAL Astromech droid, maybe the type seen with the dome in cone shapes, like the original R4 Units in the Original Trilogy era? I have noticed that that is one of the few configurations that is not available for use through a T7 Customization, and it would be nice to have that!
I mention Female because there are very few female droid companions. I can only think of SCORPIO (Who doesn't really work out in the end) and Z0-0M (Who is only an optional companion) I think it would be cool to see an Imperial Astromech Droid companion, as there have not been too much delving into Imperial Astromechs in the past, and it would be nice to see how that works.
What's next, a Male version of SCORPIO for the imp agents!? LOL

How about putting in place the ability to store tech fragments like we can with our credits, or better yet remove the 10,000 limit since Tech fragments tend to add up rather quickly!?

I don't know if it's a true bug or some kind of glitch, but everytime I go to collect a speeder that I have unlocked in my collections, it ends up showing up in my task bars twice and I have to remove one of them.

Yup, crashed right in the middle of a Huttball match, one which we were thoroughly getting our asses wiped in.
Do I even want to know what Huttball even is!?

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't the Inquisitor story quest 'Cultist Praise' give you Experience and credits like the others?
I'm confused since all I got was Regulation Medpack x2, Premium Field Tech Versitile Stim, and 361 credits, but no experience points.

Upside and Downside of using Steam

I think we can all agree that the major upside to using Steam to play SWTOR is that there is no Bitraider that causes all kinds of bugs and glitches in the game!
The downside is that whenever Steam rarely crashes, you are sent back to the server selection screen and the servers aren't displayed, same if your internet goes out.
Personally, I'm 50/50 when it comes to having to copy most of the files from the stand-alone SWTOR folder to the Steam SWTOR folder when switching launchers, but to each their own I huess.
