  1. Let's examine this claim for a second. Let's say a raid boss needs 100k dps applied to it to be defeated so you have dps #1 who is doing 95k dps, dps #2 is doing 4k, dps #3 (etc) is doing 1k so great, you've met the dps requirement and have defeated the boss. Since all that matters is that the dps check is met as per your statement, all is fine and dandy with this scenario; or is it? Only ranked pvp matters though, got it.

If somebody would do 1k dps i would just turn 360 degree and walk away laughing.

  2. I use the group finder to see what operations there are on a given day to see which one we might be able to run with the guild. However, I noticed that the same four operations (Colossal Monolith, Hive of the Mountain Queen, Toborro's Courtyard and Xenoanalyst II) are listed as of yesterday. I didn't check on patchday, but I most definitely did yesterday and again today and noticed they are the same.

What I did notice on patchday was that there is no longer a mention of the next operation there. This makes me wonder if I missed a note somewhere, or that there is an actual issue with the rotation of the operations. Anyone else noticed this as well?

Its do with the gree event, there is no room for other ops cause xeno is there. this happens always on gree event

  3. Let's face it... the only reason they are getting rid of it is for conquest.

I'd rather them get rid of their CQ points.

Now, I have no reason to play this game but raiding (because I was doing KPF to grind renown).

id rather get them rid of renow, i dont care too much about it

  4. Too much nerfing when you are buffing all other classes.

Instead of nerfing both CD and duration, how about just doing one to start with and then see how it goes. If it is still too much in “actual live server“ game play in pvp (vs other players) and PvE operations, then you can nerf the again. Using a softly, softly approach is better than a sledge hammer.

From past experience, if you use a sledge hammer to nerf, you always kill DPS Sorcs. And then you will never buff it again and once again Lightning Sorcs are unviable for the next 4 years.

The history of this game shows that if You ever bother to give Sorcs a buff to make them viable, it lasts 3 months till you nerf them again. Where as other classes get buff after buff and stay FOTM or balanced for years and Sorcs get relegated to the bottom of the pile and nobody wants to play them.

Remember, you are also changing all other classes (and actually buffing most of them) and spread sheets and dummy parsing will not tell you how this is all going to play out in the live game. If you are heavy handed with Nerfs while buffing other classes, you are going to have unforeseen (by you) circumstances. Most of us who play the class, especially in pvp can already see where this is going. Sorcs will be destroyed again and the current top 3 FOTM classes will stay at the top.

We don’t want to be OP or FOTM, but we also don’t want to be at the bottom of the heaps. We are happy to be in the middle of the pack as long as the pack is close to balance.

They are not buffin all other classes, viru sniper get nerf for dot and weakening blast.

  5. Yeah when i started playing swtor as healer it took me a while not to have macroes since i was used to use mouseover healing in other famous mmo game, the mouseover healing is much faster really helpfull imo but tbh i turned out to be mostly dps player since in the new level 75 content with 100% increased healthbars and 50-100% increase damage for dps players healers only gain 20-30% more healing and when ur main heal heals less than 8% of players total health is just too much of effort. I stilkl go and heal level 70 conted where the healing is fine
  6. Yes it's not bad, just as example from all the ops bosses parses on storymode avarage 75% (so slightly better half) does 8107 dps, while others like sage 8043, commando 7800, scoundrel 8500, gunslinger 8100. So its right there with the others, the best 99% of the parses are shadow 12k, commando 12k, sage 13k, vanguard 14k. There is no reason not to play assasin dps if you want to.
  7. That's the reason i dont buy packs anymore, just do some heroics etc get some credits and buy stuff from gtn when new packs come out. Right now there is too big change to get nothing or just like lower body armor that are worth 500k. Those grand nightlife packs where great with increased change of rare drops, i got those 12 from cm.
  8. An item being de-listed doesn't mean it sold. And yes, I would argue that 50 is on the high end of things that still sell. Getting much beyond 50mil will take weeks to months to sell, and items listed from 75-500Mil+ rarely, if ever, sell.

They do, i sold unstable peacemaker in few hours with 89million when they first came out. I sold revarn reborn set this weekend with 130million after 1 week trying to sell it.

  9. If this happens i promise to start buying hypercrates again, right now with decent/bad rng you might end up with 2 or maybe 3 gold items that can also be lower armor (worthless) so i see no point spending 40 bucks on those anymore. Dark versus light packs where awesome and got quite many of those but have recently stopped getting new ones still every items is so cheap in gtn there is no point use irl money to get items you might not even use. Those certificates was at least something you needed.
  10. one way is ofc getting mats sell them, usually anything grade 2 and 6 sells good credits, or buy comp gifts like with blue scraps u can buy rank 6 blue gifts with same vendor (comps like wookie likes them or they sell in gtn decent too)
