[Rascal's Way('s) Holster Disappearing After Conversations.]

Hello. I've noticed that if you dual wield two Rascal's Ways, and talk to a npc, that the left holster will disappear upon exiting the conversation. It will revert if you re-equip the blaster. Screenshots provided

I've been looking for this blaster for the past week now. It is similar in appearance to the R-30017 Aikion Blaster. From my understanding the Needler was once a quest reward for the smuggler at one point or another. I am being told from various sources that it is now relegated to a Heroic Quest Reward from "The Mandolarian Terror" on Balmorra.

 

Has anyone else found this blaster recently? Or is it now unobtainable through conventional means?
