  1. My experience this last week or so has been that in-game SC reps either don't read the tickets or they don't care about resolving them. They really seem to want to close them, though, as every ticket has been replied to with a paragraph proving that they haven't read the issue, followed by "I hope this resolved your issue," and then closed.

Do CS reps get credit for the number of tickets they close? I opened two tickets, and have had to reply to each one by opening a new ticket referencing the previous (closed yet unresolved) ticket.

Multiple times. Still unresolved. I even had one ticket (a reply to a reply to the original) disappear.

I find it odd that EA/Bioware, a game developer, seems to be oblivious to the fact that there are other games I could be spending my time and money on.

  2. Hi everyone,

We're seeing some confusion and reports about the non-Subscriber track being broken post maintenance. The track is working as intended.

In short, if you have already claimed a reward on the non-Subscriber track pre-7.0.1a, you will not receive a second identical reward post 7.0.1a. As the Subscriber rewards were the items that were broken, those are the rewards that can be re-claimed.

Apologies for the confusion and lack of clarification that only the Subscriber track was re-claimable.

Actually, the items I didn't receive were from the non-subscriber track. Or at least the one that I know of.

  3. Weapon skins? I know it was planned, and it seems like a small thing amid all the other fixes, but I have weapons I spent real money on sitting in my inventory with no way to show them off unless I want to continue to use 306 gear.
  4. I'd like to suggest that Flagship Encryptions, when claimed from the Conquest completion dialog, be pit into inventory instead of the materials bag. They're difficult for people to find, and since they aren't used to craft anything (afaik), storing them with crafting materials doesn't seem to make sense.

In my experience, a player will either want to deposit them in a guild bank or trade to another guild member to deposit, sell them, or "use" them to make a Framework. In all those cases, they currently need to be hunted down (admittedly not difficult if you know where to look) and move them to the inventory. So why not put them there in the first place?

  5. Will you be doing anything that would enable small guild to get on a leaderboard? There is nothing small guild friendly about conquests to speak of at present other than the fact an individual can hit, easily enough the weekly individual target on multiple toons.

As far as rewards for the guilld part you are better rewarded for being part of a bigger guild and you have a chance to cpontribute towards a fight for the top ten or overall top spot. As it stands at the moment you'd think you'd rather have a small bunch of big guilds in the game rather than a diverse bunch of smaller guilds in the mix.

I'm kinda surprised I find myself telling a proven games company this...I'm just an ordinary guy looking to let off steam after work!

I agree. There needs to be more incentive for the larger guilds to choose to invade medium and large-yield planets.

  6. On behalf of all the smaller guilds struggling toward unlocking their flagships, please include a small yield planet every week. I understand you want to showcase the three wolds featured in the swoop rally event thingy, but it means that smaller guilds either miss out on guild conquest, or their members spend the entire week grinding when they'd rather be enjoying other aspects of the game.

So please either replace one of the medium-yield worlds with a small-yield one, or downgrade one of them to small.

  7. Agreed. While I'd be satisfied with a Cover Energy Headpiece, I'd prefer the better option and feature of having a hood toggle. Because, with the covert headpiece you won't be able to wear masks underneath your hood, which would - in turn - make the feature incomplete, just like you said.

    Very good point.

  8. Obi-wan, face concealed by his hood, enters the cantina, steps up to the bar, and pushes the hood back, revealing -- a clunky trooper helmet, because that's the "smallest" item that'll remove the hood.

Seriously, it's mainly for us goofy RPers out there. But would it be so hard, or so bad?

  9. Hey everyone,

    Snip - - - 8< - - -

We fixed a number of bugs a week following the expansion and we have a number of additional bug fixes being released in next week’s patch likely on Thursday the 14th of November 2019. I know we usually release on Tuesday, but there’s a few items we want to include in this patch, so we gave the team an extra couple days.

    Snip - - - 8< - - -

Can we please -- please -- get some acknowledgment of the stronghold invite bug and some assurance that there's a fix forthcoming?

  10. We're coming up on three weeks of canceled events due to not being able to invite guests to strongholds. I've put this in the compilation post of bugs, but since it doesn't seem to be visible to the developers, I decided to make a new post as well.

Invitations can be sent and accepted, but on acceptance, the invitee gets a message saying they aren't permitted to visit the stronghold. The players invited have no characters on the SH ban list, and subscribing players are affected as well as non-subscribers.

This has not been acknowledged by the developers as either a bug or an intended change. I understand they're likely swamped with the multitude of bugs, but please -- at least acknowledge it, or let us know it's not a bug but a new feature.

  11. Bumping for the stronghold bug... again. Coming up on three weeks of canceled events due to not being able to invite guests to strongholds.

This has not been acknowledged by the developers as either a bug or an intended change. I understand theiy're likely swamped with the multitude of bugs, but please -- at least acknowledge it, or let us know it's not a bug but a new feature.

  12. I'm a little concerned that the stronghold bug isn't on the list of known issues. As a roleplayer, I've seen several events already canceled because hosts are unable to invite people to their strongholds.

All works as intended when an invitation is sent, and when an invitation is accepted, the host gets a message confirming the acceptance. The invitee, however, receives a message claiming they aren't permitted to visit the stronghold. Workarounds include issuing keys (not a help in the case of GSHs) or publically listing the SH (an inconvenience for the invitee and not always desirable for the host).

I and many others would like to see this bug addressed soon.

  13. "While exploring the galaxy, players will be able to see the Heraldry of other Guilds on character nameplates"

Please tell me this will be optional and can be turned off. Nameplates are already cluttered.

Yes, please! Would like to turn it off my character not just my view of other characters. Make it an option like displaying legacy name.
