  1. If solo players are forced to join groups because of the complexity of the content, many of them simply will not do this content.

I don’t see any motivation to go through heroics with increased complexity now, because I will spend twice as much time on them, but I will get the same reward as before. Increased complexity must be offset by increased reward.

  2. If we assumed rules of succession or royalty work the same way in the SW universe as they do in this one. Thje only way we'd become a member of the Jakuul royal family would be by marrying Arcann, Since it always the female marrying into the males family. If we were to marry Vaylin she'd become a whatever our last names are and no longer be a member of that royal family.

Wow. It turns out, Vaylin, marrying a PC, lose his title in the royal family? It is sad. But maybe the laws of Zakuul work differently? In any case, in our headcanon we can dress the PC in royal colors.;)

  3. On the other end, I hope that Arcann does not do wedding proposals the same way he starts romances. It was cute but all this "I'm not worthy" stuff should not remain. We got it, he has a hard time coming to terms with who he was, now move on and do something!

I hope so too. Honestly, I like the Arcann which we learned in the KOTFE- a strong, self-confident, aggressive, warrior who does not stop at nothing to achieve his goal, which constantly challenges the PC ...

And I categorically do not like his whining in the style of "Oh, I'm not worthy of you, oh, I was so-o-o-o bad, blah blah blah." Is it some kind of ... self-abasement? I understand that he is now repentant, etc., but ... His character has changed beyond recognition.

  4. My opinion is that he specifically forbid Arcann to go because he knew that it would make him react. If it had been the other way around, perhaps Thexan would have followed orders, Arcann would for sure not. Valky knew which one of his son he had to vex. I don't know what would have worked with Thexan but certainly not that.

If I am not wrong, Luke will be born approx 3600 years later? And his hand does not even look really better.

    What do you mean?

But if Arсann simply carried out his father's order, then ... He would not have become a cripple and would not have been disfigured. In this case, Arсann himself harmed himself.

But Star Wars technologies are static and do not evolve over time, as in any fantasy setting. In the film, in the scene where the droid tests Luke's hand, it looks like an ordinary human hand. It turns out, despite the super technology Zakuul, there were not able to make for the son of the Emperor such a prosthesis?

Vitiate - soulless monster, devouring the planet for eternal life. Valky - a family charming grandfather, in which there was nothing terrible and monstrous. He even fell in love, and had children. His character has undergone tremendous changes.

  5. That is if you consider he truly intended to warn. I tend to consider that even his reason for forbidding Arcann to participate to the campaign was pure manipulation. He would probably be sure that his son would feel angry about it and not obey.

In my opinion there is a possibility that he had foreseen or planned that only one of his sons would survive. And he pushed that way, just waiting to see which one would live.

No clue. But as per your comment on the poor tech... Why do you say so? It might well be high tech in SW universe. This is a subject I do not know that much, are there clear examples of far more evolved cybernetic limbs? And what would make them more evolved, then?

Yes, it was manipulation. And most likely, Valky knew perfectly well that Arcann would do just that. And yet, instead of just sending both brothers to attack (the result would be the same), he actually, Arcann warned. What for? Perhaps Valky wanted to know exactly how Arcann would act and what fate he would choose.

Because the level of prosthetics in Zakuul is the level of prosthetics of our Earth. Currently, prostheses are being developed that are very close to Arcann's cybernetic arm, but Earth, unlike Zakuul, has not conquered half of the galaxy.

At the same time, Luke Skywalker prosthesis is no different from the human hand. Did Zakuul do not have such technologies?

Vitiate himself changed very much when he captured Valky's body. He even got a family! But does he physically change a person? It is not known.

  6. Mr. Junay, I am not sure the Valkorion cannot be blamed. He would certainly say so, yes, but he can probably still be held at least partially responsible for Arcann's drift towards the dark side. :-)

Of course, Valky manipulated Arcann for his own benefit. But it was up to Arcann to decide what to do. His desire to prove his importance to his father was fatal for him. And Valkorion could only shrug his shoulders: "Well, I warned!"

As for the hair - yes, it's a problem. But perhaps, for the night Arсann removes a cybernetic hand or puts a cover on it?
