  1. Even just companions are a bit complicated - what if my companion is the Wampa, or the Nexu - but other players are even more complicated because of oddities about /follow.

I suppose pets and creatures could be stuffed into the magical trunk. And yes, definately scrap the idea of having players as passengers.

  2. That is very sad, because I'd love to decorate a ship just like a stronghold, that way we could choose the NPCs. Hell, maybe even choose another model of ship, and if it is too much mess to work on the old ship, why not offer a proper capital ship for the player, not as big as a guild stronghold but fitting for the commander of an multi-world alliance, with all the new and old npcs, a personal chamber for Lana with a strip pole...and, and...hey Bioware, it will be effort but you will make money, you know our wallets are itching for a proper capital ship.
  3. Open your mini map and click the checkbox to enable exploratory missions.

Thank you, tiny Jawa friend. I did that when I started. I should been more specific, I meant the quests which were removed from the game, such as:

With the release of KotFE/4.0, there was an overhaul in the 1-60 level, which was a good idea in theory, unfortunately led to the removal of some of the "breadcrumb" quests for the various bonus series (This change happened in 4.1), six of the 1-50 flashpoints, a few of the daily area intro quests, and the intros for some heroics. And then in 5.0, the eight "Advance class training" side-quests were removed, when it was decided to alow players to chose their advance class at the creator creation screen (Which I love. But I loved the side quests more), this also had the unfortunate side-effect of removing access to the codex entries for the different advance classes (Example: If I chose a gunslinger as my Advanced class, I'd get a codex entry for both the Gunslinger, and the Scoundrel).
  4. This message is both a plea to Bioware and a request to my fellow players. I decided to play the Sith Warrior and follow a detailed progression guide on its story to ensure I wouldn't miss anything. To my surprise I came across missions that were removed. After digging for more information, I was shocked to find out there is some fundamental content missing, such as events. After much pondering, I decided to write this thread in the hopes that maybe catch someone's eye.

Bioware, whatever merits SWTOR have aside its story, it IS the story the most crowned achievement of this game. Everyone I meet that has played SWTOR will first comment on the quality of the story, the voice acting, the choices, etc. What has possessed you to remove voice-acted stories?

My journey began on this thread:

    http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=964154

Regarding to these missing quests, they might be inconsequential to what you tried to achieve with the revamp, and there might be few players that actually care about them, but for new player's sake, restore them. These quests are already there, coded, with their rewards and voice acting. Restoring them should be a simple task for a talented team like yours, and it is essentially development cost-free content.

Regarding the events, please bring them back. I love the nature of SWTOR events and that they repeat, it allows people that can't be present a chance to complete them sometime and avid grinders the opportunity to amass more stuff. Again, it is essentially development cost-free content for your game.

And as a personal request, and with the blessings of older players, allow us to get exclusive items. There was a myriad of situations that prevented people from ordering the collector's edition in the past, my own country was blocked during the launch. To Bioware, giving these opportunities again will earn you money, cost free. Maybe in the 10 year anniversary? Maybe once a year?

To the community, I fully understand any opposition to it, after all what is the valor of exclusives if everyone can get them anytime. Hear me out, please. New players would love the opportunity to eventually complete/achieve everything in the game, just like you. For one reason or another they didn't have the chance to play at launch but now they are part of the game like everybody else. Would it hurt to let go of this exclusivity? By all means, put hard requirements on it, but the thought of something in the game being impossible to attain at this moment is truly depressing.

In short, I'd like to play the game in all its entirety, because it is a great game, a great RPG and the stories deserve to be shown. Thank you all for reading.

  5. Going to roll a DS Sith Warrior. Server: Ebon Hawk. Looking for a guild that is recruiting and emulates the Empire lifestyle. A council, a civilian division, slaves, or whichever. I want to play my Sith Lord more less how it goes in the Warrior storyline, of course not as overpowered, just another Apprentice or Lord. I'll pick my name tonight then update this thread, feel free to message me if you think your guild and my character can do some RP. Also interested in PVE/PVP end games.
  6. I'll roll a Vengeance Juggernaut and it will be my main. I never really invested in any Crew Skill to the end game but planning on taking this one to the max level. Being a force user DPS I conclude those are the best suited for me:

    Artifice

    Archeology

    Treasure Hunting

However, I got a question: Will it make any difference in the end game? I like the idea of crafting my own weapon and its components but if it pales in comparison with drops or vendor weapons (which I plan to do end game PVE and PVP anyways) it might not be the best investment to craft useless things.

What's your opinions on that set of Crew Skills? I'm out of touch with the game and its updates. I don't have any craftings in other characters but plan to max them all eventually, I do want to focus on my main first.

    Thanks for any inputs.
