  1. So far as we know, they technically aren't Sith. Just Dark Side users a la the Krath (if you've read any of the Exar Kun era Legends stuff you'll know about them).

While they could be Sith in some way, we have no evidence other than "they use the Dark Side and Kylo has a red lightsaber and loves Darth Vader!" to suggest so.

    My theory:

Luke dies. Definitely not a popular one, especially not for me, but we do see Rey getting tortured by Snoke, and I'd have to guess we'd end up seeing a scene where Luke sacrifices himself to fight off Snoke and Kylo while Rey escapes.

Well the Sith are users of the Dark side but are also a diplomatic order... hence the creation of star killer base. If they were just Dark side users then I doubt they would have a diplomatic side. I think SWTOR shows more diplomacy than the actual films (excluding the prequels, even though they were God awful.. they did show the diplomatic side of both the Sith and the Jedi). Just kind of my perspective on things.

  2. ^^Stressing that. 30 seconds or so off and the generated codes won't work. They used to allow a larger leeway but they got locked down about a year ago.

That sucks... makes sense why it worked when I used to have a security key. But I would also like to say, just in case they do work... I've done it in the same time as the generated code and still no luck.

  3. Hello dear friends,

I have an issue with my SWTOR Security Key that I set up a few minutes ago. I did exactly as I was supposed to and synced it up... but when I try to enter it onto the launcher it WILL NOT work. It says it's incorrect, which is impossible because I copied and pasted it from when I added on the browser. Please help, I'm trying to access the Security key vendor and it will not work for me!

Just would like to say, I've contacted support before via call or ticket before on other problems and have had slow response time so I didn't bother to try this time because I would get impatient.

  4. There's been rumor that Hayden was spot at Pinewood studios where they film allot of SW and he was the celebration which was rare. What if he force ghost talks to Kylo similar to Obi wan and Luke did in ESB.

I also kinda hoping for Rey to be a Palpatine, I think it would make sense for him to have some kind of continuity in the ST because if you really think about it especially in the Prequels he practically became as vital to the story as the skywalkers.

That would be so amazing, I hope they bring back the force ghosts! There was one thing I do remember from one of the movies where Yoda said that there can only be 2 Sith (a master and a apprentice) dubbing it as "The Rule Of Two". That would be interesting since there's already Snoke and Kylo Ren. Would Rey break that rule?

  5. I feel like Rey might fall in love with Kylo Ren... I don't really know. I kind of ship them together. After the Snoke scene torturing the Rey, I feel like Rey might fall into the Dark Side just like Malak did with the Bastila, altough I cannot imagine Rey coming to the Dark Side. Eventually I think Kylo will want to repair the damage he has done, something along those lines.

That's certainly interesting, if Kylo does repair his damage... I think the guilt of killing his father might weigh him down.

  6. I'll ignore the storylines and focus on gameplay itself:

KNIGHT / WARRIOR: I don't find its gameplay terribly exciting. It leads, for a reason or other, to overload of abilities and DCDs etc. I am also not a big fan of their resource mechanic. But when playing something rather obvious and easy to build energy with like Watchman, Focus or Concentration...it can be fun. Am ambivalent to Vigilance and don't like Combat at all. Maybe I could like the new Combat? /hm Anyhow: Sentinel > Guard

CONSULAR / INQUISITOR: Now, these are more up my alley. Sage is very relaxing to play(though wouldn't say no to more buffs especially for TkT / Ltng) while Shadow...eh they ruined how I liked to play it. Because you can't Tele Throw anymore in Serenity...meh. Don't get me wrong, both are fun. It's just...I don't care for Kinetic combat at all. Somehow it's the most boring tank. I especially like Infiltration, it's so fun! Still: Sage > Shadow

TROOPER / BH: Apart from the state Vanguard / PT finds itself in, these two are perhaps my favorite pair. I like both of these classes almost equally and jumping in as a Van / PT tank only to blow / burn everything...so fun. I don't like their and Agent resource systems as much as Consular's. It's a mighty shame the state Van / PT finds itself in though. It used to be so fun, now it's just...weird.

SMUGGLER / AGENT: Another very good pair. Sniper and Gunslinger are like a more effective version of Sage, equally relaxing yet way more effective. The point is, I feel totally in control with a Sniper and I LIKE that VERY MUCH! Disciplines wise, I am perhaps the biggest fan of Sharpshooter / Marksman and Scrapper / Concealment. Both feel fast paced and very efficient. I am especially a huge fan of Marksman because, imo, that is how a SNIPER should function like. Concealment is just silly, but somehow kinetic and satisfying. IT'S WOW ROGUE IN DISGUISE(ALERT ALERT!) :p

Imo: Trooper > Smuggler ~ Consular > Knight

    1. Marksmanship

    2. Engineering

    3. Focus

    4. Watchman

    5. Infiltration

    That's a really nice ranking there :sul_wink:

  7. Theron has allowed himself to be captured (and beaten) numerous times in the past, in order to gain intel or get into a position he needs to be in for his mission. He's a deep cover infiltrator/agent, and that's what he's good at.

If you haven't read the additional background media that features him, I would take a look. It's really great stuff and gives a lot lot lot of further insight into his character and just what he's capable of (like taking down a Dark Council member in his underwear).

That is true, I did see in Theran though at the Valss battle cutscene that he looked genuinely concerned for Valss, knowing he wouldn't win. Unless he developed a relationship with a few characters while being a double agent, we won't know obviously until the next episode or next few episodes.

  8. Honestly, I'll go against the grain and say I'm gonna trust Rian Johnson and the writers to make the story pretty different. This whole press tour and media tour has been uniquely different than any of the other Disney SW movies. They have been building anticipation and anticipation for Shock/Awe knowing what could happen if they missed their mark so obviously they have allot of confidence in TLJ.

Literally every single interview with all of the actors or cast tease multiple shocks and twists. There are just 2 things I really hope for.

    1. We get a Bada** Luke scene similar to Vader at end of Rogue One. In the Legends Canon at this point he was practically a Light Side Demigod. Obviously I don't thats gonna happen but I do think Luke should be clearly the most powerful character in the Sequel trilogy except for maybe Snoke.

    2. No Dark Side Luke. Sorry, but not a fan of this theory thats been going around at all. My favorite line from pretty much all of SW and one of the most iconic lines to me is "Because I'm a Jedi, like my father before me" in ROTJ. So if he went dark it would go against everything I perceive about Luke...

In my own opinion, I think Luke might stay the same.. but in the teaser/trailers it shows that Luke looks intimidated by Rey's power and sees the resemblance in her and Kylo (Ben).. possibly thinking he'll fail as a master. Plus in the newest trailer, Kylo Ren reaches out to someone in a sort of welcoming way. We'll see on the 15th how it'll turn out... but I am nervous about where this will go.

  9. What confused me is the tiny part of his convo we got to see, there's no way he could have known that guy would spill the name of the Order at the end of the conversation so that could not have been the reason he did it. So what else did we hear/get a transcript of?

Theron- "I held up my end of the bargain, now it's your turn. Will this work?"

Masked Guy- "You have no need to worry, The Eternal Alliance and it's commander will be destroyed."

We get nothing from that intercepted conversation except possible confirmation he wants the Alliance destroyed, and that he's working with a group with the same goals.. which the Chiss lady told us anyway.

That tripped me up too, even my own character said something didn't make sense. I'm leaning towards him now more than ever being a double agent... but I do know that we learned the name of the order that Theran was backing.

  10. Hey Everybody!

I think the title is pretty self explanatory. I've loved the Star Wars series since I was 4 (except the god awful prequels, but even they had their moments) and coming from a star wars loving family, was very excited when Lucas Films/Now Disney, came out with the long anticipated Star Wars 7. I wanted to see what anyone's theories and thoughts about the new movie this month. My parents keep sending me updates on what they think (My father's being Rey turns to the dark side) and that pretty much gave me the idea.

    ~ I hope to see everyone's ideas !

  11. ~Hey everyone!

I know this isn't an original thread, but I figure I'd still ask what everyone's favorite classes were and why (and or ranking them). I'd like to also include stories, abilities, etc. when ranking or discussing them to see and discuss. For me I'd have to say Sith Warrior, Sith Sorcerer, Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular, Smuggler, Trooper (light/dark), Bounty Hunter.

    ~Thanks!

  12. he planted a device when he reported back to the leader of Zildrog , so your alliance could catch the discussion . If he wasn't a double agent , why would he do that ?

Well like I said, I hadn't finished the new quest yet, so I wouldn't have known.. but when I first started playing the whole situation seems iffy to me. I'm not doubting that he isn't.. and since I did finish it, it did seem like he was a double agent. Having played many storylines whether it was KOTFE or just general classes, someone SWTOR makes story advanced that make no sense in the long run.

  13. I've heard a lot of things about Theron being a double agent, which I hope is in fact true... but at the same time the betrayal didn't make a lot of sense (depending on which side you're on or not). I've stated before that I REALLY hope he is a double agent and is working towards bringing the alliance to take down some faction or whatever (in the middle of the current FP as of now).. but part of me feels that's not true, and I hope I'm not right. I did see on the trailers that he seems to be more dedicated to whatever side he's leaning on now.
  14. [uPDATE]

Keep in mind the newest episode of the KOTFE series 'A Traitor Among the Chiss'

    ~Hello everybody,

I was pretty messed up about the last KOTFE episode "Crisis on Umbara". As a Light Side Jedi Counselor this kicked me where it hurts and left me dazed and confused because of it's random nature.I felt a little betrayed because of my romance with Theran Shan (Also having played the previous expansion packs with him in it), and wanted to know other's opinions whether they had a romance with him or not. I have yet to play the new episode 'A Traitor Among The Chiss'.. which I am playing in a few hours (lol). Whether you've had Theran for a long time or just for the KOTFE series.. I really would like to hear your opinions, theories for future episodes concerning him, and or just to talk about it.

    ~Thanks
