This is a good example of "How many people actually read a post before reply".
Looking like 12 percent.
On the topic...I agree, very annoying.

Was an interesting meeting, read between the lines and one can get a good idea of the direction certain games are going.
Off topic- Sim City 5 looking to be SOLID! (Hurray super polluted cities!!)
-
I see. So you're doing a public service by keeping the player community 'informed'? Thanks again. I don't know what we'd all do without such altruism.
no problem.

I think most miss the point...
Whether or not the game is stable is not as important as the perception. (From major gaming sites)
just opinion of course.
-
information and perception within the gaming community can be crucial to longevity.

quote from that article
"While the game got off to a good start, the relatively light amount of end-game content does appear to be taking a toll," Creutz wrote.

"First" and even "10th" is very important for progressive raiders. When you get a game as large as WoW, "100th" actually is very meaningful too, but then it falls off in importance after that. In this game, anyone who clears prior to the first lockout will be in the same boat, because it means they were the players who readjusted their life for the game. The players who clear the second week will be players that are interested in investing time in clearing it quickly, and every kill after that will be inevitable and nothing of note.
There is still nothing in this game to distinguish good players from great players, or even great players from exceptional players. Any group of 16 players that are even halfway decent can clear 16 man hard mode given 10-15 hours of work.

Work, family commitments, etc. It is why set raid schedules work. If BW didn't implement patches on willy nilly days, it wouldn't be an issue.
Besides, HM isn't a race. NiM will be. For now, we are just enjoying the game for what it is.
So if NiM is on a work night? Then what? Then you will say "NiM is not a race...the expansion will be...etc" ?
-
I love the game and the raids have been getting progressiveness harder from EV > KP > EC.
lol....
they sure have

So many good players quit that it's beginning to be pointless.
What we are left with is a bunch of mediocre players (Myself included) that are now thrust in the spotlight believing they are a "Top Guild".
(Hence the non test clearing, and the claims of toughness...etc)
Most of these players have never been in this position before, and will be more than happy to offer their opinion and/or comments, links, or anything else that will boost their new found fame.
So, yes...the massive 4 boss content will be cleared very quickly by someone (assuming no bugs), as the endgame design is sloppy and seems to be incomplete. (Bioware seems shocked that players actually reached endgame it seems)
All just opinions of course...

86 million credits for $999 it seems .....

Why cant people just post in plain white, all those annoying colors just makes your posts annoying to read.
To answer this question, also answers another...
This is the growing "Mark Twain" trend in forums, where everyone must write the great American novel.
The different color font is a tool to achieve the "look at my thread" effect, and no amount of response will suffice. (Unless it's totally positive)
If everyone would have ignored the thread, he would have bumped it himself with a clever saying or whatever.....sigh
Never ever ever been done before...thank you for the valuable opinion.

...
You missed my point.
He double posted this exact same thing in both forums. People who post things out of topic are the reason the SWTOR forums are a wreck.
agreed.

To my knowledge, no extensive one exists.
Honestly, alot of guilds feel the content was so easy they didn't report.
But there is a top 15 list somewhere in this forums.
edit: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=252999
Here it is

10 Try to find good players that aren't quitting or have quit.
20 goto 10

It appears many of you have skipped over some of the details.
The armor is not the highest in the game.
The armor has no set bonus.
The set bonus in my opinion is what makes the raid gear exceptional.
Raiders will still get the best gear.
Do I need to tell him?
-
Which is interesting considering half of it is based off of rumor and heresay but its an mmo player base, I should not be surprised.
That's true, things could change.
But Bioware sure doesn't help the situation by pointing out that anyone with crapload of credits and time can own all PVP and PVE gear without ever meeting another person.
(Again, just the perception at the moment from the patch)
-
Of course NM raiders should get more than HM..and HM more than casual.
Everyone knows it...it just sucks that it seems this won't be the case.
Most "hardcore" players aren't elite...they just compete at a higher level, and are venting out because they won't really be allowed to. (Without a real reward)
again, the word of the month seems to be.. frustration.
-
Now you want Bioware to nerf power supplies?
Learn to play!
-
clear it once, get the credit...and then just clear to the last boss.
(If gear stays the way its listed...no reason to even do it)
This looks like they really only want the 1-2 hour a day crowd full time.
-
Let's hope they change it before live.....sigh
-
I like how he ended it with ....
I hope more is to come?

Eq2 launch-Dec 2011 full time play. (25+ hours per week)
Most hardcore Eq2 players always compared WoW to checkers. (Whereas we played Chess)
It's interesting to see how players from other games react to things. (Raids, PVP, etc)
Back in my day...
