  1. That's a bit of an exaggeration. I've been in a guild that ran wb's for a whole week and were able to put together parties with randoms in minutes. We'd start on Coruscant, go Tattooine then Alderaan. Each map only took maybe 20 minutes max to gather people for the wb. This was pretty recent too, back in march/april/may-ish.

    No exaggeration at all.

The last 2-2.5 months I've joined every single group I've seen being formed for world bosses. Guess how many times we've actually gotten enough people to do them? Two times!

This is on the EU server.

Btw, I've done the quest now by killing the mobs on Hoth. Wasn't an easy start, since it was hard to find them, they were simply not where they should be (killed by others probably). Asked for tip in guild chat, someone said change to the PvP map - no one else there, at least Rep players, and it was easy to find them and get the quest done.

  2. Find a raid group, go whack three world bosses. I did a few days ago, went and killed Snowblind on Hoth, The First on DK, and Trapjaw on Tatooine. Bam, done with the quest. Took about an hour altogether.

This is an old post, and nowadays it ain't that simple.

Getting enough people to do a single world boss can take days. Getting 3 done will probably take many days of spamming general chat on the fleet - I've already had many attempts ending in failure so far (not enough people interested).

  3. Before you abandon them, if you have not already, you may want to reconsider. Yes, it is annoying to have those two missions sitting in your log taking up two precious mission slots, but if you keep the missions then you get to keep the mission items and use them to complete missions that require the seeker droid and macrobinoculars. For example, there are two bonus missions on Oricon, one requires the seeker droid and one requires the macrobinoculars, that can be completed with the mission item versions.

    Thanks again.

Will hold on to them for a while, then.

  4. I said it before and I will say it again, these are fine the way they are.

First of all the Seeker droid missions are all soloable. The last one is a bit harder, but its possible. Only Macrobinoculars last mission really needs 4 people and as it was stated the other 3 people do not need to be on the mission, just find 3 random guys to tag along, its like 20-30 min of their time, based on how prepared you are.

    Sorry, but I strongly disagree.

First, finding 3 others to help is extremely hard. Second, if you manage to assemble a group, there's no guarantee that you'll be able to do it, due to bugs (read other posts in this thread).

    Imo, that's far from fine.

  5. You can pick them up on fleet, on the capital worlds and on Makeb. You would have to begin them from the beginning again.

Thanks for the info, appreciate it.

Going to abandon them and never touch them again, then. Absolutely no point in having them in the log for maybe several years just in case they make the last steps soloable, and even if they do, I see no point in doing all those steps all over again from the beginning. Not worth the effort, since I consider these chains among the most boring quests in the game so far.

  6. It's ridiculous to make these mission chains soloable, but not the final missions.

I don't know if there's a lot of such mission chains further on in the game, but this could easily be what breaks the game for me. We all know that it's impossible to get groups nowadays to get them done, not fun being unable to complete missions due to poor design.

Btw, if I abandon these two final missions, where can I pick them up later (in case they make them soloable in the future)? And, would I have to do the whole chains all over again, or can I go straight to these finales?
