  1. Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing crashing? For example, I can't start chapter 2: A Dream of Empire after trying to start the conversation. I just keeps freezing.

This is exactly what I am experiencing at the moment. Doesn't matter which character I use, I always freeze when Chapter 2 begins.

  2. I have this problem also, atm i can't get past the sarting cutscene of Chapter 2, already tried it at least 6 or 7 times, messed around with my graphic settings to try and solve it but so far no Luck.

Would greatly apreciate any kind of help or response seeing as it is completly stoping me from enjoying/experiencing the Story of KoTFE.

I'm having an identical experience. Doesn't matter what I try, nor what graphical settings I have. Must admit, it's getting mildly irritating now.

  3. Hi guys,

I'm searching for a guild that started off on this server when the game first launched. In fact, if any of those players are still active and playing I'd love to get in touch with you guys in order to join a guild you might be in. I was called Bruck and started post NGE.

When I cast my mind back, I can remember a few pieces of information - the guild might have been called ZhG or Smugglers Alliance and I can remember a player in that guild called Goll. That's about all, but I'm sure it will all come flooding back to me when I hear and see the old familiar names again.

Hope to hear from you guys and join up for content in game with you all soon - thanks!

  4. well im definelty not a employee or family of anyone in ea or bioware as im from uk buti think im no 500 or something and registered within the hour of the announcment of the game in development and site going up for the first time, checked im no 565

I'm exactly the same. Registered as soon as the site went live. Also from the UK! It's quite nice to see all of these old timers still knocking around, shame the post is only three pages long though!

  5. Whoa! You were like one of the first few people to sign up then, because 1-1500 were rumored to have been for employees.

That rumour is incorrect. I think, although it has been a long time since I checked, I'm 1032.

Signed up the moment the forums went live as fast as I could and have been following the game silently (on the forums) ever since. Played the game since beta also. It's been a while now, looking back.

  6. Firstly, I apologise if this is in the wrong place. I wasn't sure which sub-section to post it in, so please feel free to move the post if it's in the wrong place!

With that aside, I'd like some advice on the following PC builds. I'm not building my own (I know people have said its easy to do, but I'd rather have a PC I can just turn on and it works, rather than any headaches with parts missing, working incorrectly, or me breaking something). I've whittled down the list to the following three:

    First PC:

    £470.27

System Case: Coolermaster Elite 430 Black with 500W PSU

    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H61MA-D2V Intel H61 Chipset - USB3 Support

CPU: Intel Core i3 3220 Ivy Bridge 3.3GHz Dual Core with HT 3MB Cache

    Memory - DDR3: 8GB (2x4GB) Corsair DDR3 Vengeance - 1600MHz

    Gaming Graphics Cards: 1GB EVGA GTX 650 Ti 1071MHz GPU 768 Cores 5400MHz GDDR5

Sound Card: Asus Xonar DG 5.1 Gaming Sound Card & Headphone Amp!

Solid State Drives - High Performance System Drive: *Solid State Drive Not Required use HDD Below*

    System Drive: 500GB Seagate Barracuda SATA6 7200rpm 16MB Cache

    Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224BB - 24X DVDRW

    Second PC:

    £484.74

System Case: Cooler Master Elite 334U - Mid Tower

    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H61MA-D2V Intel H61 Chipset - USB3 Support

CPU: Intel Core i5 3450 Ivy Bridge Quad Core 3.1GHz 6MB Cache

    Memory - DDR3: 8GB (2x4GB) Corsair DDR3 - 1600MHz

Graphics Cards: 1GB EVGA GTX 650 SC - Mid Gaming Card!

Solid State Drives - High Performance System Drive: *Solid State Drive Not Required use HDD Below*

System Drive: 500GB Western Digital Blue SATA6 7200rpm 16MB Cache

    Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224BB - 24X DVDRW

Flash Card Reader: Internal All in 1 Card Reader inc USB 2.0 Port!

    Third PC:

    £439.85

Black Micro Tower Case 2x Front USB 2.0 & Front Audio 500 Watt Power Supply Unit

    ASUS P8H61-MX USB3 2x Rear USB3.0: 4x Rear USB2.0:

    Intel® Core™ i3 2120 Dual Core 2x 3.3Ghz 3MB Cache (4 Threads)

    Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz

    500GB 7200RPM SATA 3

    22x DVD RW Black SATA

    nVidia GeForce GTX 650 1GB

    Built-in audio

    802.11N WiFi PCIe adapter

    Internal Card Reader 26 in 1 & 1x Extra Front USB 2.0

Price isn't a massive thing, so long as it's within the £400-£480 region, I'm not too fussed - obviously, it'd be nicer to be closer to £400, but I'm not overly fussed so long as I'm getting my monies worth if I spend more.

Basically, I'm after a PC that'll play SW:TOR on Maximum settings without a noticeable drop in frame rates. I'm tired of playing this game on my low-end system and I'm due an upgrade, so I figured I'd get a PC that'll play TOR on max with no issues so I'll be forever happy :)

Which out of the above three (if any) are going to get me Max Settings in-game, with 60+FPS and in other games. Are they all capable of that? Are there any components you'd change to higher/lower settings?

    I appreciate the feedback! :)

  7. Whilst slightly annoying that the servers are down, and like many of you, I too had plans to play today (from 12PM BST onwards) I'm not entirely upset, a little disheartened, but otherwise unscathed.

Speaking from personal experience, this is the first time I've wanted to play and been unable to for an extended period of time, and factoring in I started December 13th, that's not all bad! So, without inciting hatred or calls of 'fanboy-ism', congratulations BioWare on providing a service I've largely enjoyed that has proved highly reliable.

On a slightly more pessimistic note, I was indeed hoping to grab a few hours of gameplay today, yet I don't think this will be attainable for the EU Players effected. Thankfully though, it's a lovely British summer evening so my plans have changed - time to hit the pub! :)

  8. I personally hope BioWare really mix things up.

I hope the Sith march on Coruscant, not for a darting raid but a full scale assault. They claim the Republic as the new Sith Empire. The Republic are forced to retreat to worlds unknown, remaining a threat on the fridges of the unknown regions.

It'd be fantastic to see the Sith as the rulers of the galaxy and the Republic desperate to take the galaxy back.

That'd be an interesting change on the old Republic's in charge, Sith invade, fight them off, peace once again.

  9. Bioware bragged before release they had a system for not needing 1 hour, let alone 7 to patch, update, or reset the servers.

I'd honestly love to see a quote referencing this. It'd be a pretty interesting read. Simply because, I can't remember them saying this and I'd like my memory jogged :)
