You only need 110% accuracy if you are using the Endless Offensive set with the Metaphysical Mender tactical to get the heal when using Telekinetic Blitz, since it has to hit for the heal to go off, but if you are using the Empowered Restorer set (recommended) or Revitalized Mystic set with either the One for All or All for One tactical then no, you do not need accuracy.

     

    Speaking of TK Blitz, and other damage abilities like forcequake - do they all need the 10% accuracy bonus? i.e. does every offensive ability need the 10% bonus?

  2. There are two different aspects to an attack that are relevant to this conversation:

    - Attack Type: Melee or Ranged, Tech or Force

    - Damage type: Internal/elemental or energy/kinetic

     

    Blasters and Rifles do ranged attacks; wielders have abilities that are Tech attacks. Melee or Ranged do energy/kinetic damage. Tech or Force can do either kind of damage.

     

    OK, so I'm still confused. On the companion tab of the character sheet, there are ranged and tech numbers at the bottom with different values. Which apply to the blaster attacks, ranged or tech? Do blasters do ranged, while something like missiles do tech?

  3. Crafting bonuses still don't work. I mistook guild bonuses for my amplifiers... Presence bonuses may work though. They don't affect the companion stats, but theyu do increase damage on the melee and ranged tabs below.
  4. This is a bit late, but ... you're doing it wrong.

     

    Also: don't roll on anything but endgame, top level gear. It's a waste of credits to roll on gear you'll upgrade soon.

     

     

    Actually crafting crit bonuses work now so get level 3 mods and get max crit bonus in your specialty. They max out at about 6,500 credits so you can roll forever. Obviously you just make a special set of gear for crafting only. That lets you use other amps in your top level gear.

  5. I saw a guide that says Salvation (AoE heal) does less healing as the number of allies rises. The ability itself says it does a set amount, about 11k for me. Is that number divided amongst all the allies affected, or does each effected ally get 11k?
  6. 1) Can a dps benefit from a defensive amplifier such as force protection?

     

    2) Does +50 Presence (or any value) help companions that are already at level 50?

     

    3) What effect do critical crafting amplifiers have when crafting legendary equipment?
