Why? Just why?

Everything seems straight forward, except for one major flaw (In my bearded opinion.) Speed! It's a swoop bike race, it's a high speed event. Right now my regular mount goes faster, not to mention the speed of the speeder bikes that take you to different locations on the planets map--much faster.
This event has a lot of potential, but what will kill it, is the speed the bikes currently go. Get those swoops bikes out of first gear, and I think you might have an amazing new event. If you don't, people will get bored quickly.

Today we updated the in-game events schedule for december. This month will see relics of the gree, rakghoul insurgence, and bounty contract week occurring. Along with those, life day and our eight year anniversary will be happening as well!

They already said the Cantina event is where the next stage of the game is to be announced, so I imagine there won't be a roadmap. I also think they will announce 6.0 at said Cantina event.
I'll be there, and I am super hopeful that we get some great news. I am crossing my beard and fingers on this one. lol

Yeah, I was looking forward to something big and glowing the same color of my crystal (I tried 4 different colors, same outcome.) Even so, I do like this mount. I don't usually like Creature mounts.

Hello everyone!
As Musco alluded to in a post last week, I joined the team a few months ago and serve as the new Community Coordinator! Some of you may be now wondering, if I’ve been here for a few months, then why am I just making myself known? Well, let’s go over everything that I work on.
Primarily, I handle everything involved with the articles that we create. This covers the whole process from start to finish. On top of this, I handle all the social posts across Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as the game launcher itself. Over the past few months, these were handed to me piece by piece as Musco trained me accordingly. Once I had all these tasks under my belt, it was our plan to start transitioning me from solely working behind the scenes, to having a presence here on the general forums. So here we are!
I have been reading the general feedback here, especially within the past week, and it has been received. There’s a lot that can be improved upon and I’m working on fixing some of these issues. Going forward whenever there’s a new article or news update, I will also create a thread in the relevant forum to spread the word of whatever the subject is, as well as prompt a discussion about it. For example, later this week we will be announcing the specific details involving our community Cantina event happening around Star Wars Celebration in Chicago. At the same time as I publish the article to the site, I will then create a thread highlighting it.
Throughout March we will announce what will be involved with Game Update 5.10.2, between game features and technical updates. I’ve also been working with Charles on something we’d like to bring back, which are short stories. Now since a lot goes into the making of these, it’s hard to pinpoint when the first one will be published. But it’s a safe bet to say it will be sometime this spring.
Another strong sentiment that I’ve noted here is the lack of a roadmap. Unfortunately, while that falls outside of my scope, in the spring/summer I would like to build a web content roadmap. This will list all the planned articles, including update announcements. These wouldn’t have a hard date, but they would all be narrowed down to approximate months. For example, the Game Update 5.10.2 news would be listed as coming in the first half of March in a model like this. I’ve been working a lot behind the scenes to lay down the groundwork for the upcoming year and the fruits of that will start to bear in the upcoming months. Hopefully this post has been able to shed some light on the path we’re taking with 2019!

No offence, but I’ve never heard of you or the others and I’ve been playing the game for 7 years and I’m an avid forum poster.
What is the criteria to become a “influencer” and why do you guys get to speak for the player base when we don’t even know you or have heard of you in 7 years

I can't speak for the others, but I generally operate on YouTube, Twitch and Twitter. I don't usually come to the forums too often, mainly since I can communicate faster on the other platforms. If you're interested in knowing more about the Influencer program, Swtorista did a great video on it while back ago.

Spoilers for those that have not finished this quest stop reading now:
This whole story line was poorly written and thought out. Theron Shan's whole story of going rouge was not fleshed out well and it has no real build up to the end.
But the absolute worst part is how you have them just want to give up and crawl back to the Empire or Republic? Are you kidding me?? You think America crawled back to Brittan for help after Japan blew the crap out of most of the American Fleet in Pearl Harbor? Nope, it made the Americans just want to fight that much harder and they ended up fighting 2 wars at the same time, when we took on the Germans at the same time. What the heck is up with them giving up? Zakkuul going independant ? for real? No way the Outlander would allow that because they could become a threat in the future. Again poorly written and thought out.
Obviously who ever wrote this does not know anything about history or politics at all. They still have Iokath technology, it would be easy for them to replace the fleet. Some body needs to hire some good writers, because BIoware story telling has gone into the trash bin lately.
I never thought about it that way, but it does make sense. Completely!

I would love to see a romance option for Senya! I say this next part not being a hater of Arcann. I think a romance option with Senya makes more sense than one with Arcann. As before mentioned, we can flirt with her already, but not with Arcann. Although, what if they put in a part where you had to choose between the two of them. Then have a choice where they fight each other for your love!!! And whoever survives you get to romance!?!? Epic. lol

Agreed. Some people just take things a bit too personally. Everyone I know was starting to like the name and saw nothing in it outside of it being just a name. Oh well. At least you didn't name it Koth!!!

Thanks for the update! I will agree that if you're going to give codes to some people, you need to give them to all as a way of apologizing for the delay and the bug that broke all the things. Saying that though, some of you need to calm down. Go outside, play another game, and do something productive rather than filling the forums with your ************.

I know that The Boomy Show talks a lot about SWTOR and other games. Great source of fun news and critical thinking when it comes to what Bioware is doing great at and what they could improve upon. Pretty good listen. Go, we have cookies!
