  1. As the title says, after you a duel ends all of your CDs should reset. It's not that bad for operative vs operative duels, but for mara duels its really bad because all of your DCDs have a 2+ minute cooldown. Now, there will have to be exceptions to this so people can't exploit it. For example, the cooldowns should not reset in FP/OPs or people will just challenge each other to duels, then cancel is just to reset their DCDs before the next fight.

     

    However for dueling tourney's or just dueling for fun or practice it can become very annoying when you have to wait four to five minutes in between each duel for cooldowns.

  2. The title says it all. They need to allow cross faction premades for Odessen to really give it a cross faction feel

     

    I kind of agree. Cross faction premades, eh no. But they should make a third mode for all the other warzones to allow them to be cross faction. As far as cross-faction fleet chat, that would be weird because the two fleets are in different parts of the galaxy. They need to make the Odessen place chat cross faction, and make that more accessible. Pretty much turn it into a third Fleet.

  3. I have been looking forward to ranked for the past few months as season 7 is my first true season of ranked. I practiced during the preseason to get better and now... everything seems pointless. I play in Harbinger, because that's where pops occur most often. Well, tonight alone (Friday night) I had 5 people leave in 5 different ranked matches, people are throwing matches, and over all, a large portion of people do not know *** they are doing. Now, I don't get mad easily, but this is just ********. My rank is dropping so fast and I can't do anything about it. I get paired with these people I just described and I want to leave, but I don't because it's not the right thing to do. BW needs to make it so you cannot leave during a ranked match or if you do, you are not allowed to queue on any toon account wide for 15-30min. I just felt like ranting a bit.

     

    Just do team ranked...

     

    But if you really want to do solos, add all the really bad players to friend and when you see they are queuing. STOP. Also, don't queue on weekends, cause a lot more people queue on weekends, meaning more bads. If you play a sorc or any class that can off heal, be sure to bubble everyone (sorc only) and keep a off heal or two on someone getting focused. They may be bad, but if your heal lets them live 5 seconds longer, that may be the 5 seconds you needed to get a kill.

  4. People saying mara is weak in yolo, lol kappa....

     

    P.S. About the best anti-cc.. I suggest looking at a spec that has complete immunity for 3 seconds every 10 seconds or a spec with the 6 seconds cc immunity each 18 seconds. Tip: not assassin. Melees are definitely not in a weak spot. About maras - play ez mode smash if you are bad at the class like me and don't whine about retarded stuff. :rolleyes:

  5. I just got my Lightning Sorc to 60 and fully exhumed geared, but I can never seem to get more than 600-800k dmg in a warzone. I always put affliction on before thundering blast so it crits, i'm doing everything I know how to do. Yet I can never get those 1.6 mil + I see all the other Sorcs doing. Could anyone help me?

     

    My rotation:


    1. affliction
      thundering blast
      lightning flash
      polarity shift + recklessness
      crushing darkness (because of the polarity shift and lightning flash proc)
      spam lightning bolt until thundering blast goes off CD.

     

    I did not put Chain Lightning in the "rotation" because I only use it when it procs.

  6. Someone may already have this idea, but here it is anyways. (If i'm to late, oh well :p)

     

    This is a modified version of Voidstar, where the attackers are trying to plant the bomb, and vise versa. The attackers have a choice of two nodes they can try to cap. One on level 1 and one on level 2, all they have to do if cap ONE and hold it for X amount of time. The defenders goal is either A) Keep the Bomb/node from being capped until the time runs out, or B) disarm the bomb/recap the node and win (even if there is time on the clock). The second floor with have more open space much like Mid in Alderaan, great for ranged (Snipers, Sorc's ex) where as the first floor has very low LoS (line of sight) making it a great place for melee and for very scary gameplay, as an enemy could be right around the corner. So be sure you are on your guard at all times when on this Floor. The four ramps that go to the second floor have some trap (like in Huttball, but not Huttball =P) to keep things hard at all times. (Who likes easy maps? Oh, not talking to you Pubs, you like everything easy... For the Empire >:] )
