  1. Can anyone point me to summaries for all of the endgame content? Similar to all the Class Story line summaries out there (prologue, Chapter 1, etc...). i.e. a summary for what happens on Ilum, a summary for what happens on Oricon, etc... all the way through Yavin.

I've done all the endgame content, but it's been piece by piece and I don't have a solid grasp on the chain of events leading into KOTFE/KOTET. I burn out quickly so I jump around toons a lot, so I really don't want to churn through all that straight. Thanks!

  2. Forgot to include in my post that over 5 years with this game when 2nd or 3rd ticket on the same issues goes unresolved with support you have to get level 2 or level 3 to review it and "accept it" (aka the devs) and then it may be quickly resolved. If it's complex problem level 1 won't be empowered or enabled to act on it. It has to be escalated, that's how support works best.

If I don't hear from them by tonight I will contact them. I've been afraid to do anything with the toon because I don't to give them an excuse not to fix the problem... I heard many horror stories from my guildmates. He's my main and I haven't play him at all (except logging in to see if the problem was fixed and they didn't email me) in, going on 3 days now.

If you filed a coherent and accurate ticket.. it will get addressed. So be patient.. and I would advise against doing what the poster before me suggests because the more ways you try to ping them and force action, the more likely you are to have tickets just closed without resolution. Why? Because some players can and do try to grief CS over an issue, and you do not want to in any way appear to be doing so.

If you have left out any important details... that may delay getting it addressed as it will force them to ask for more information. For example.. if you failed to reference the original ticket that may have actually caused the issue you currently have... expect them to want more information... even though they have logs on everything and can review the activity on your account in detail.

I *emphasis added* believe my tickets were more than coherent (<- if that's possible) and explained the situation perfectly. But the last response I got seemed to suggest that they think I just deleted the mail on accident and they can't do anything about it. I had 50 items on the GTN, valued at possibly more than 100 million credits... I'm starting to get more than a little frustrated at this whole situation. Especially if they are the one's that caused it in the first place (rather than some freak accident/glitch) by trying to mod the wrong one of my characters (see my first post).

  3. Sounds like someone got into your account.

I really hope not... but only one character was affected. And what a random sequence of things to mess with?

Someone in my guild said it sounds like a server transfer was done with the character (mail being deleted, outfit being deleted, removed from guild). Is that SOP (or any operating procedure at all) for devs looking into a Character Token refund situation (per my original theory above)?

  4. I logged into one of my toons and the stamped outfit had been removed (I still had the gear, I just had to reapply the outfit for ~44K), I was no longer in my guild (all my other toons were still members of the guild) and everything I had listed on the GTN (50 items-valued in the 10's if not more than 100 million credits) ~24 hours prior was gone... just completely gone. In addition, I had two previously read pieces of mail that I was saving that were also gone. I assume the item's list time expired and they were sitting in my mailbox as "unsuccessfully sold items."

I've sent in multiple tickets but, I don't think they are understanding the issue. The latest response I got suggested I had accidentally deleted the mail but, it was already gone as soon as I logged in. I did not accidentally delete 52 pieces of mail.

I believe the issue is related to a previous ticket I sent in about getting a Character Token refund for deleting a character I had just created using a Outlander Character Token. I sent the ticket in for the newly created character (Varuck) but, they somehow adjusted my other character (Vryckus). The response to the ticket regarding the character token said I had already done a bunch of stuff on Varuck that I had not done. So, I think they went into Vryckus and messed something up instead... but, again, I'm having no luck explaining this to whoever is reviewing the tickets.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might have happened? Where do I go from here?

  5. In approximate order of release:

    • Ilum, the conclusion of the original story. Ends with two flashpoints, Battle of Ilum and The False Emperor.
    • Operations: The Eternity Vault, Karagga's Palace, Explosive Conflict, and Terror from Beyond.
    • Flashpoints: Kaon Under Siege and Lost Island
    • Daily missions: The Black Hole.
    • Daily missions: Section X. Section X also kicks off the HK-51 scavenger hunt.
    • Rise of the Hutt Cartel: Makeb and Mini-operation: Toborro's Courtyard.
    • Operation: Scum and Villainy.
    • Questlines: Seeker Droid and Macrobinoculars and Daily missions: GSI. These are all meant to be done together. The two questlines are mostly solo but end with H4s.
    • Daily missions: CZ-198 and Flashpoints: Czerka Corporate Labs and Czerka Core Meltdown.
    • Questline/daily missions: Oricon and Operations: Dread Fortress and Dread Palace.
    • Flashpoint: Kuat Drive Yards.
    • Flashpoints: Korriban Incursion, Assault on Tython, Depths of Manaan, and Legacy of the Rakata. (The first two are reversed for Imperial characters)
    • Shadow of Revan: Rishi and Yavin IV. Rishi's story includes Flashpoints: Blood Hunt and Battle of Rishi. Yavin IV's story includes Operation: Temple of Sacrifice. (There's a story alternative to the operation, which is soloable.)
    • Operation, The Ravagers.
    • Questline/daily missions: Ziost and Mini-Operation: [Heart of Ruin/b].
    • Knights of the Fallen Empire: Sixteen solo story chapters. After Chapter IX, you open up Alliance Alerts, The Eternal Championship, and Star Fortresses.
    • Knights of the Eternal Throne: Nine solo story chapters.
    • Questline/daily missions: Iokath, leading to Operation: Gods from the Machine.

    Thanks!!

  6. I saw the Gree Event is coming back on the 24th. I started play SWTOR after the last one they had, so I've never done it before... but I saw the rep gear you can get and it looks pretty cool, so I'm excited to do it.

-Are there any missions I have to do before I can do the actual "Gree Event?" Do I have to run through the storyline on Ilum before I am eligible? (I skipped that whole planet)

-I saw in the update/things to come page that its for players level 50-60... is it going to be a bolster thing, like on Makeb (so my level 58 toon will be able to run through it no problem)? Or its made for level 50, and a level 60 will be "untouchable?"

-It goes from the 24th (Tuesday) to the 3rd (Tuesday). I'm assuming there's going to be a "Weekly Mission," so we'll only be able to get the weekly once? Or we'll have a chance to get the weekly again if we run through it all on the 3rd?

    Thanks

  7. What are all the places where you gain reputation through doing missions? So far I have: Yavin 4, Rishii, Oricon, Section X, Voss, Makeb, CZ-198, KDY... is that all?

How do you gain rep with factions like the Binary Star? You have to buy certain packs and get lucky to get a rep token? Thats the only way?

  8. If you take, say, a level 15 character (just got your ship) and join a group with level 55 players running through, say, Rishii and beyond, will you get the ~1K exp earned from each mob kill?

The heart of my query is this...does exp gained from mob kills decrease based on the level disparity between players in the group, or is it based on the level disparity between mobs and the highest level player in a group?

If it's the latter, would that not be a very quick way to jump to level 30ish? If you gain 500-1500 exp per kill, you could gain a level in one side-quest (just from mobs, I know I wouldn't be able to pick up the quest), assuming you just killed most everything you set your eyes on.

On a completely unrelated note... is it not possible for a Pub char to use Imp reputation gear (and vice versa)? i.e. my Guardian can't wear the Imp Section Guardian Helmet

  9. The "regular" staged weekly quests give small rep points and the two heroics give medium rep points. I am aware they are not necessary to completely the weekly. I was just wondering if the difficulty I was experiencing was intended or not. After having breezed through Oricon, Rishii, and Yavin 4... Makeb was giving more difficulty than any of them.

I'm the type of player that wants to complete everything. I do every quest on every planet (even though I end up being over-leveled), I just like experiencing everything.

  10. I was using my level 60 assassin in mostly 186, with a few 192's, and all gear augmented. I recently went back to Makeb to do some dailies for reputation points and got absolutely rinsed trying to solo the heroic 2, as part of the weekly. Now, I know I'm not the best player out there, but I breezed through Makeb while I was leveling to 55 (using the bolster); although I never tried to solo the heroics.

I'm fairly certain I understand how the bolster works: boosts your stats to level 55 gear (whatever that rating is). So, my gear at level 60 should be leaps and bounds better than with the bolster at levels 50-55. And yet, I was still having to heal after most mob encounters and couldn't beat the boss at the end of the heroic.

Even on Oricon (which I think is supposed to be "tougher" than Makeb) I breeze through all mobs and the heroic when doing dailies...

So I guess my questions are: is my thinking wrong? is/was there a glitch of some kind? or what am I doing wrong?

  11.

Eh... not exactly, but I think these might be as close as I can get with in game weapons. Obviously the design and makeup of "laser" weapons will be different than real life munitions... but that'll do.

    Thanks

  12. Wow, well I feel pretty stupid. Apologies to all. Just played this morning and checked it out. The items were greyed out so I just ASSumed I couldn't purchase them... never actually tried.

Thanks for the answers on the other questions as well.
