  1. Complex and more diverse than Tor. Why do people raid? Because it is complex and requires more skill. The same reason people like SWG crafting was because it was difficult and those who were good at it out-shined your average tinkerer. To even compare SWG crafting to this automated thing is absurd. Even having the two in the same conversation is weak at best and the term apples and oranges cannot express the job of trying to compare the two. If you honestly believe SWG had an inferior crafting system you must have been one of the hundreds of people that pushed for the game to be revamped in a WoW style because it was too hard for them.

Do I want SWG crafting in this game? No I dont. I want to remember what was great about that game.

    Well said.

  2. Oh dear lord, its Sammyboy. All you did was whine in SWG about your profession, now you come here and whine about BW. Go home, play Monopoly. Your opinion is never anything but negative.

    LOL!

If anything I was an elitist in regards to my profession. If you knew me, you know that I argued for what was best for smuggler when our update was scheduled; against Tralita and affiliated ******* (cough) who knew next to nothing about our profession and it's needs.

Also, I'm merely making an opinion that SWG > SWTOR, and that BW fanboys will get there tighty-whiteys all tied in a knot over it. ;)

  3. a month where every patch has created new problems instead of fixing the ones it was supposed to? I dont know why all these fanboys come here and slam their hard-ons for BW and star wars onto their keyboards in defense of this game as if it was their messiah. Outside of the story for the classes, it's a pretty terrible game considering the caliber of the developer. Maybe blizzard just has an amazingly talented staff, but if these patches are anything to go by I feel like BW/EA are content with their box sales

Couldn't agree more. SWG, for example, was a much smaller staffed game yet the NGE was more enjoyable then whats available in SWTOR.

    Flame on, bioware fans. ;)

  4. The best fix would be to just have a Cooldown when it is on Cooldown blacked out and the GCD back to the normal transparency.

I saw no issues with the way it was when the game first released, the first change they did made the Cooldowns light up even when on CD and that was just dumb, it ended up making it so you couldn't tell when longer cooldowns were ready or not.

This new one just makes your eyes hurt and it very distracting and I personally suffer from regular Migraines and this is the kind of crap that can trigger one if I play too long now.

Yep, the first version was the best version.

  5. As a Sharpshooter spec, I would disagree with this. Trickshot is far superior damage, and my skill points allow it to be extremely inexpensive, not require cover, crit more often, and crit for higher damage. I would rather throw Trickshot or CB+Trickshot than hassle with sabo charge. In the flurry of PvP I would love to throw out a sabo charge after I have put my target to sleep with the grenade, but I am already managing at least 20 skills and for me, sabo charge does not make the cut.

    Big mistake.

  6. Crafting:

Best I've seen in an MMO. Before I would craft out of necessity and grinded endlessly to get the mats. Also, I would only craft at endgame. Thus, I feel that Bioware exceeded on crafting. 9/10

You never played SWG then, if you think that this is the best crafting system ever conjured up in a MMO.
