  1. You're approach is totally wrong, it is clear you don't understand the design philosophy of object-orientated maps and you do not care about objectives at all, you just want to fight. The game experience you are looking for is called arena. Queue SR and all your complaints becomes pointless, neither will you spoil others' fun trying to play objectives.

     

    Your only valid point is about Quesh: that is a heap of trash in ever aspect and the game would be better off without it.

  2. Guardians lack survivabitly by a long shot. Compared to Sentinels they are squishier and it should be vice versa!??

     

    How about build up on the Heavy - Medium and Light armor so that they actually matter in game.

     

    Tactical items could improve armor rating or give temporary Speed Boosts call it Force Speed or something.

     

    Either way, more tankiness or mobility. Armor ratings are a joke atm.

If people suddenly realize -- for however long it may last before it's removed -- that they can upload and display symbols of sexual promiscuity, hate, political vitriol, religious bigotry, and such into a game, they will, and if having our eyes wide open to the strong possibility of such means we're snowflakes to you, so be it.

     

    It's like saying we won't be using a capitalistic society and economic system because people will scam and steal money, rob banks etc. Nothing in this reality is immune to exploit. People who exploit any kind of system of set rules get sanctioned properly. The solution is NOT building a system in fear of exploit. Proper system with proper management is the solution. Yes, your point of view is 100% wrong. Censorship is never a way.

    Or maybe "uniforms" (aka armor sets) that will allow players to wear their guild's emblem, like a badge on the chestpiece, or a big design on the back of a "robe" or "cape"? Perhaps just an option to add the guild emblem to one's gear.

  6. If you asked which tank was the worst , that'd be an easy answer... The one you're on. Just like which line is slowest in the grocery store, the one you're in.

     

    If you really want a better answer, then you need to ask for specific content. For SM ops, it doesn't matter, all of them are fine. PvP probably is different for ranked vrs unranked and even huttball versus arenas... !!??

     

    Also, different people will disagree, again, the one you play is nerfed the most.

    What matters which companion is available when they are all the same, with a different SKIN. You need only ONE.

  8. It doesn't matter in the warzones. Skill is about the only thing that matters in the warzones. When I came back 5 months ago I still had my 208 gear, and I was killing just as many 248s as I was any other player. Gear only really matters out in the open world, but like I said you hardly EVER see anyone in the open world PvP instances.

     

     

    Wow nice of you to revisit 2013 with open world "pvp". You are clueless tho, and the fact that you kill 248 with 208 gear just like "any other 248" is cracking me up. Better stick to star citizen2025.

  9. Reasons Lana deserve a kill option:

    1 -Rishi -proving she can't actually be trusted.

    2- Lana only cared about you so she could use you as a puppet to lead the Alliance. You make it very clear that you didn't want to lead the Alliance and she didn't really care. Lana only cares about what Lana wants.

    3- Constantly threatening to kill Theron after Umbara, even though you've told her you trust him. I'm sorry, but if you made it VERY clear that you trust your LI and someone KEEPS saying they want to kill him when you find him, my less than perfect LS character will kill them before they do.

    Also, Theron NEVER betrayed your trust. Everything he did was to protect you and the Alliance. He even told you WHY he couldn't tell you, but he was dropping clues for you the entire time.

     

    You do realize it's actually a game right? The script is flawed. Btw Lana is the best character out of all others, i married her. She has the most depth as an actual character that matters while others are props.

    Over time, we have received quite a few reports from players of items that used be available in-game, that no longer are. We don't mean Cartel Market items, but items that used to be available on vendors or from drops, etc. We are doing planning around some Mission rewards coming up and we thought this might be a good opportunity to try to get some forgotten items back in.

     

    Here is what we are looking for. What are some in-game items that are no longer available that you would like to see come back, for the following categories:

    • Mounts
    • Mini-pets
    • Stronghold Decorations
    • etc.

    For this feedback thread we are currently not looking for weapon or armor set suggestions.

  11. I wouldn't go that far, but....you guys - Porsa and Trixxie - do realize not everyone GAF about conquest, right? Your attitude is like 'how can you spend money at a time like this!?' But it's only the end of the world for YOU. For everybody else, it's Monday, there's another 12 hours or so of 2CXP, and they're doing CM direct sales. From your pov it might be misplaced priorities, but eh, isn't that why you're quitting?

     

    Right. And that's also why people are staying. Because what matters to you may not be not what matters to others. Reflect on that fact in your next game.

    I have been an avid PvPer since launch with a couple gaps in the game as a whole, for real life reasons, but I came back just before 5.7 and the struggle to get gear is obscene. PvPers don't generally have credits, they are busy PvPing (which gives a laughable amount of anything for that matter.) In 3 months of PvPing I have barely gone from new 70s to a couple rare 248s, mostly 242s, and still some 230s (averaging 24-30 hours / week) that is crazy and that is with giving unassembled components from one toon to another and running PvE which I personally don't like because of the monotonous repetition. Of the 6 primary toons I play, 2 have decent gear the rest are stuck in 230 unless they miraculously got lucky with RNG. In the past this difference in available rewards from PvP was offset by PvP armor, easier to obtain and inferior to PvE based armor except in PvP. Now there is this ridiculous gap. I like the idea of not having augments compute in WZs. I'm not usually one to hold on to the old and I'll say I am ignorant to the reason why they got rid of expertise, but from a casual PvPer's perspective, expertise worked.

     

    I also don't have the time to spend looking up the latest bolster work-around. Actually saying it out loud makes me wonder, why have bolster in the first place? Why not just have 1 tier easily acquired and 1 worked on?

     

    Tier 1 is easly aquired. Get the datacron and equpment and you have lvl 70 char+tier1 gear in 1 minute of time.

     

    Your points make no sense, and like any other newb you fail to grasp the game mehanic.

     

    One does not simply have 6 characters fully geared if you do not have 40h/week playtime.

     

    Work on ONE characther and you will fully gear him in 1 month.

    This way you;

    1) learn to play better your 1 character (main)

    2) instead of having 6 low geared character you will have 1 fully geared character

    3) you will not ruin PvP games for us that actually play it

     

    Why people cant understand that you cant play 6 characters in PvP because you will suck at all of them and you will be improperly geared on all 6.

    You need to play and master 1 character and then move to second.

    Newsflash; you wont master it in 1 year of playtime.

    Newsflash; you are not an avid PvPer if you play 6 toons, we call it a noob.

People do conquest for different reasons but mine is to get the titles/achievements and blue flagship plans, everything else like whether you get 100k or 50k credits or some decos you have gazillion of is worthless. All your idea would result in would be ppl in big conquest guilds creating smaller ad-hoc guilds to go for planets they want and still get rewards for sticking inside the brackets thus splintering large guilds.

     

    I think the issue is devs don't realize why conquest guilds select certain planets, if people in that guild need an achievement they will go for it no matter if it's yield x or y. Only way to change that is by giving out achievements or blue flagship plans for different yields, that would change the calculations. To me those are the only two valuable rewards from conquest.

     

    I dont think they would get CQ in aad-hoc smaller guild, you underestimate smaller guilds with much more commitment. And this is exactley what we need, decentralization. How can smaller ones compete otherwise? I do not need a 500 member guild with basically 450 alts getting everything every single time. Either stick to your bracket or waste time and effort AND risk trying to bypass this. Its fair and square.

     

    E.g. we have laws that prevent monopoly bro..

  14. I'm not going to berate the developers for this anymore than they have been. It's ultimately unproductive, and it appears to me at least that they realize there are serious issues with the new Conquest changes and are working to correct those.

     

    That said, I am concerned about Eric's post where he mentions waiting to see metrics on such things as Yield Targets. All you need to do is log into the game and you'll see which guilds are top ten for each category, then have one of their developers do a database query to look up how many members each of those guilds have. I think the answer will be obvious at that point that larger guilds are dominating the smaller Yield Target because they can. For example, currently on SS, the top two guilds in the small Yield Target (Ilum) have over 1 million Conquest points, when the requirement is only 460k. For the large Yield Target where the requirement is 2.5 million, only one guild is close to achieving that. We're only two days into the Conquest week.

     

    While I understand the purpose of the changes you intended for Yield Targets, I don't believe that you'll be able to achieve that goal if you give guilds the choice. Even if you lower the Conquest requirement and increase the rewards, larger guilds are still going to choose the small Yield Target because it will be easier and more likely for them to win the contest for #1 there. Incidentally, I do think the rewards need to be dramatically increased for large and medium Yield Targets, but I disagree with lowering the Conquest requirements.

     

    Here's my suggestion, if you're willing to consider it: base the Yield Target options on guild size. In other words, if a guild has 50+ accounts (you'll want to count unique accounts, not characters, given the number of characters in a guild won't accurately reflect the number of actual members they have playing), limit them to large Yield Targets. If a guild has 25+ accounts, limit them to medium Yield Targets. And if a guild has less than 25 accounts (again, this is referring to actual players in their guild, not the number of characters), limit them to small Yield Targets. This is the only way to ensure that guilds of all sizes are fairly competing at the appropriate Conquest level. And while some might argue against removing the choice of Yield Targets, it's really no different than a matchmaking system that queues up players of equal levels, rather than allowing a level 70 to queue against a level 60. As long as you allow the choice, guilds are going to take advantage of that.

    I agree with these limitations. I would not eliminate choice but would rather put restrictions to selecting yeilds based upon guild level as follows;

     

    Small guild <=25 unique accounts -

    100%CQ points multiplier for selecting a small yeild

    125% points multiplier for selecting a medium yeild and

    150% points multiplier for selecting a large yeild.

    Medium guild =>26 <=49 unique accounts

    75% multiplier for selecting small yeild

    100% multiplier for selecting medium yeild

    125% -II- large yeild.

    Large guild >=50 unique accounts

    25% cq points on small yeild

    50% cq points on medium yeild and

    100% cq points for large yeild

     

    This would scale down huge differences in guild sizes when it comes to completing CQ. It would give small guilds a chance to go after large yeilds and would pretty much force guilds to stick to theirs CQ brackets.

  15. Server: The Red Eclipse

     

    The world boss "Lance Squadron Command Unit" doesn't spawn in any of the instances at all. I have even tried waiting for the exact second after the weekly reset and it didn't spawn.

     

    This is causing me to not be able to complete the following achievements:

     

    "Walking on Sunshine"

    "Broken Lance".

     

    Also, this has been going for 4-5 months and my support tickets have not yielded any result whatsoever about this.
