guys server transfers are 90 cc give it up and go to shadowlands or harbinger lol... I get ranked pops all day and there are more teams over on those two servers

A lot of ranked PvPers dislike doing regular warzones because after 4 years of doing them, they kind of just get boring... I was hoping to gear my alts and get my off set all through doing ranked PvP.. I already have my s6 T1 reward so now any s6 tokens that I get are totally useless from what I understand.. Can we trade them in for atleast a 1:1 ratio for warzone comms please?

You just proved me right. The point of 4v4 is to kill the enemy team, 8v8 is so much more because you can still lose even if you kill the enemy team
And over exaggerating was the point of my first post, if you could read you'd know it. He said everyone who likes 8v8 is bad and wants to be carried, i replied that everyone who likes 4v4 is kill chaser who can't play objectives...

I expressed myself badly. Blame the language barrier. What I meant to say was the people who never got into arenas or tried in pre-season and lost and never went back to try it again for fear of losing.
Believe me when I say this, there is plenty of people (Or there were til a few weeks ago) who used to do 8v8s and were just reg heroes (Do regs 24/7 and call each other good and *** to numbers on the scoreboard).
Don't get me wrong, there were plenty of good people back in 8v8s and they did require a somewhat different set of skills (Though at the end of the day, if you can wipe the other team with easy, you shouldn't really be losing unless your team only knows how to tunnel).
My problem was with people who were carried back in the day (Usually the ones who do bad in arenas and complain about it not being balanced and what not.)
Every class is viable in arenas. The only class that I can see having some issue (Though depending on the group, they might be able to pull it off) are sorc heals. Besides that, the group i used to run with took pretty much all the classes in the game and managed to be successful in arenas. So ya...
If more people were not afraid of losing (Who in their right mind expects to win something without practice) and would queue up for groups, they most likely would never have to fight the top team in the server (Since there would be a lot more teams in queue , hence the chances of getting then would be a lot lower).

I've always argued that there's a difference between those other MMO'es and WS. I don't think WS will affect the PvE pool much, or atleast not more than ESO etc, but for PvP in this game, specifically, I'm worried. It has been estiblished that many of the HC PvP'ers left for WS and those are the ones who stuck with it even when BW decided to delete 8 vs 8 ranked. The queues here will still pop but what kind of games will it be when even more of the good people are gone? You'll have absolutely no one decent to queue and play with so eventually you'll quit too despite that you actually like the game. Warzones are simply too stupid when you're seemingly the only one with an IQ above 60.

It does, but not as much as 8v8. You could wipe the entire enemy team in 8v8 and still lose...
Try taking a brain dead person in 4v4s and see how that turns out. That was doable in 8v8s, see my point?

At the time, the whole european PvP community spent hard cash to transfer to TOFN, I was among them. So at that time (about 1 year ago), TOFN had well over 10 teams queueing at all times, THAT WAS the GOLDEN AGE of PvP. And it only lasted for about a month and a half, best time for PvP in Europe ever. All BW had to do then, was introduce Season 1, but instead they shafted the whole community, and caused mass unsubbing, which lead us at this point, the slow death of PvP. Arenas ruined the game for me, and a lot of other people. Only noobs are now left playing PvP, goodluck with that.
Well, that wasn't the case with US servers.

The main reason why there are those that are saying 4s were never desirable was because it is true. Looks like you are new here, welcome to SWTOR f2p. By the way, I know multiple former ranked 8 stars who agree with the same assessment. Right after ranked 8s were canned they all unsubscribed and quit.
They were desirable. Though bioware shouldn't have taken 8v8 out at its cost so all the bads that needed to be carried, could still be carried in 8v8s.(Even back then though, there were like what, 3 - 4 teams per server?)
Also no, I have been playing this game since launch. 20 lvl 55s.

The people who say arenas were never desirable are the ones who were getting carried on 8v8s and couldn't pull their own weight on 4v4s. That burden became a lot more apparent on 4v4s.
Also, while I enjoy swtor pvp a lot, it just doesn't have the support that Wildstar developers are giving it.
Being able to party up with people from different servers and queue for pvp? Go ahead!
Want to do 10v10 rateds or areans 2v2 3v3 5v5? They are all cross-server and pops are instantenous. Go ahead!
What reason do I have to stick with swtor pvp if the rated scene is dead? I went as far as going to different servers to do rateds after the scene in my server died. (Groups, solos aren't considered rateds).

Both Jug tank and Pt tank are very competitive in the ranked scene. Don't really see many shadow tanks running around.

You seem to have forgotten the dozens of times we raped a team with your tank before that last patch.
Pot5's general rationalization is that they won a total of like 10 games over 2 months with tank tunnel.
They forgot the other half trillion losses they got though. Not even counting the 43 straight wins we had when we moved ov r here then quit because there was no competition
Did I play against you when I had alba in my group? Though i played with alba, I don't think we ever played against god and savior Opfotm.

Please post one SS of my group ever losing to yours. We even beat you when we had randoms from fleet (Literally, no mudclot, itchy or somhax or anyone from tyrant for that matter.)
From my point of view, you were the one that got farmed so bad that you had to leave pot5.

Solow, Peythar, and the Varrah are ALL from Harbinger, and Vigi doing more damage than combat shouldn't be a surprise. idk, Looks like ilysia managed a full 100k more than you that last game, and I managed a good 200k more than you, so there's that.
Oh, and by tunneled, you mean we did enough damage to the maras to get them to pop CD's then hard swapped tank when we got procs? All the while, chain rooting, peeling, pacifying, and in general, annoying the maras enough to keep our tank alive. Think your tank took a whopping ~100k each game, as did each mara.
Oh you mean I got outdpsed while i sit on full jug tank? Wow very nice! =D

Was talking about pts "Lets split DPS and rape them" *dies both rounds within 130*. No one really cares about whether you beat me while I pugged a team with harbinger players that previously couldn't live longer than a minute against you.
