  1. So you either have the 'free' lvl 60 token or you buy the 60 token off the gtn/cartel and use the token like you would any other unlock. Once you use the token (or have the free one)you can go back to character select screen and a new option under create a character will appear to let you freely boost a lvl 60 character. As far as I know once you use the token it's unlocked account wide and it can only be refunded (after successfully creating a lvl 60 character) by deleting that same character before you reach lvl 61. If you play the character long enough, you will unlock it's buffs, and whatnot, seemingly automatically. Good luck.

Ye, I read upon similiar things after posting my question, so thanks for the confirmation :) I was mainly interested in how long the refund is available and apparently it's 'till you level up once. And that the unlock is account wide, not per server. I also read that the beginning outfits are legacy bound, wouldn't mind taking hold of JK and BH's outfits before making up my mind :D

  2. Soooo this turned out way longer than I intended and English isn't my mother tongue so I might come off as confusing or something but here goes:

A DS Sith Jugg Immo was my first character and overall it was a great experience both story- and gameplaywise. Corrupting Jaesa was good fun, but chapter 2 starts bad, but luckily the story picks up again quite quickly. Animations were good-looking, loved backhanding giant droids, rancors etc :) Ravage's animation had me smiling often, it just looks so brutal, like he was wielding a two-handed ax or something hahah and so not a lightsaber. In contrast, I was disappointed how the dual wield ravage looks, but Sentinel's master strike looks very, very cool. Odd things to 'complain' about I suppose, but for me it's the details that count.

My second char was a gunslinger. Prologue and chapter 1 were great fun and the slinger action was a welcome change after tanking through the warrior storyline. Buuuuut then chapter 2 happened and I also realized that ranged dps doesn't seem to be my cup of tea, so I'm considering rerolling a scoundrel healer (I'm under the impression that leveling as healer is a pain, but I've never tried it so who knows)

Purely from a gamplay pov, I've had the most fun as an AP Powertech. Lots of mobility, nice skills and great animations. Damage is pretty good as well, but aoe seems lacking. Chapter 1 was good, 2nd a snoozefest, but ch3 is good stuff again (finished Voss last week).

IA - kept hearing how amazing the story is and made an Operative. Chapter 1 was pretty straightforward, but good fun nonetheless, ch2 was great and I'm currently on Belsavis with him. The devil is in the details and the IA story has had the best to offer in terms of shades of gray, which I've enjoyed greatly. The Operative gameplay is ok for me, nothing wooooow, but doesn't make me cringe either.

SI - wanted to love Sorcerer so bad, but just didn't enjoy the gameplay. So I rolled an Assassin and made through the story alternating between dpsing and tanking. The gameplay felt kinda tedious as an Assassin too, but overall it was ok. Storywise playing an Assassing felt *so* all the way through that I made a new Sorc last week just to shake the feeling hahah. And to give Sorc gameplay another chance naturally. I saw some Sorc in action on lvl 40+ and it looked so flashly that I might be able to push through the beginning again :p

Storywise I liked the feel of it very much, but there was way too much foreshadowing for it to be surprising.

I also made a Trooper Commando (lvl 29 now I think), but I'm not feeling neither the story or the gameplay :(

  3. This is probably going to be pretty disjointed but bear with me...

SW - Both male and female are great! The guy could sound a bit more aggressive, but overall very commanding and ******. DS lines get better when you put one of those masks on. My femMara is going LS and the voice fits surprisingly well, demands your attention and respect.

BH - Heh, the male voice is great although seems a bit too gravelly at times. As for the female voice, I instantly recognized her as Grey DeLisle (you know, Viconia from the Baldur's Gate series), so I simply had to make another BH just to hear her voice hahah.

Trooper - Varric is my bro in DA II, but here... it just doesn't work. Plus I was really disappointed at the sound effects of the assault cannon, so I'm probably never gonna finish my Commando

IA - The male voice grew on me, lots. Fits my Chiss char perfectly! I'm pretty sure the fem voice is the same one that did femHawk, so that has me intrigued.

JK - Hayter is familiar to me from the MGS series, but here he sounds a bit too serene, calm and collected. I know the ideal Jedi is supposed to be abnormally calm, but something about his performance rubs me the wrong way.

SI - The guy's decent I suppose. Like many, I wanted to make a Darth Maul, but the VA obviously doesn't fit that. Didn't stop me from finishing the story as assassin though. I rolled a female sorc this week, the VA seems pretty good, although I did notice how her delivery turns veeery slow when she's delivering the more evil lines which I found unintentionally funny.

Snuggler - The male performance overall is great. Could be the lines, could be the VA, could be both. Sounds,,, kinda too young at times or something, but I have had a great time with my Smuggler nitpicking notwithstanding.
