Ok, so look. I've been having this issue since yesterday. I can't play my characters at all. It longs on and says I'm in quick play mode while they game finishes installing, but the thing is, the games already installed. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I've tried deleting the bit raider thing, I've tried killing bit raider, I've tried restarting my computer. I've tried every single fix on this site imagineable and I'm still not able to play. So what the hell is going on with your login thing?
Me to, there are a lot of us.. And they DO NOT CARE. So if you sub or pay for stuff remember that.

so when we going to get answers on how to solve this issue. Ive tried deleting the Bitraider folder, which caused the game to verify files, and stil the charector screen is locked..
This patch is a total disaster, and your incompetence of applying a patch with no communication through forums or twitter has plenty of people all stuck woundering, in this day of age.. no one should be having to re-download / delete files to actual get a game to work, that previously did work before Your patch screwed it all up.
A competent company would have rolled the freaking patch back... This shows a lot, never played this game from launch but I heard the stories... And now I see they were completely true... Way to shoot yourselves in the foot BW you just lost a sub probably more then one.
You seem to forget, you're like that ugly guy/girl.. You don't get to make many mistakes or you're out of there.

While I'm sure that any feedback will be ignored, I'm simply going to copy/paste what I wrote for feedback when cancelling my subscription for the very last time. To those of you willing to slave through it for a bit more....good luck.
While i know that no human being is going to read this, I'm going to comment anyways.
After having been with the game for a total of eight years, you've proven over and over again that you 1) don't listen to the consumer and 2) you repeatedly make changes that go in the opposite direction as requested by both the player base and the playtesters.
I'm certain that my money, time, and other resources are better spent elsewhere.
I was just on the cancel sub area myself.. I have been trying to soldier through this time around, I have played since 2013 off and on but cannot seem to manage to stay that long..
The lack of WPVP had me sitting on the fence... This latest crap (Social bar change, unable to play for some unknown reason) pushed me over... See ya in 3 years SWTOR, or maybe not I hope.

Bingo.. If you don't like something, don't pay for it.. These companies need to understand we hold the power, not them.. But before they understand that, WE need to understand that. But when you have people that are to scared to speak with there wallet, then it just nullifies everything..
In the end the coward always wins it seems now.

Hi, I was having this issue aswell what fixed it for me was to delete the "Bitraider" folder, which causes the launcher to reverify my SWTOR files.
Tried that 3 times and still doesn't work for me.. I just would like to know what is causing some of us not to be able to play while others are....

Yeah. I know what's being communicated because of the old bar, but how the hell is a new player going to know what the number by the magnifying glass or flag mean?
What was wrong with saying PLANET, FRIENDS, and GUILD?
Nothing!
But I have come to the realization that stupid people do stupid things..And there are far more stupid people in this world then not...
You can't cure stupid either, you just have to take some CBD oil and deal with it because they are EVERYWHERE!

You tired both guides for the suck at 0% and switching to the non streaming launcher?
I tried both and NADA.. Still stuck at 0% loading and can only play on starter worlds...
The fact that this happens to so many makes me wonder do they even test these patches?....

Hey everyone!
Today we launched Game Update 6.1.2 and the full details can be found here. As a reminder, the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally event won't turn on until the Conquest reset June 30th.
And many of us can't play because we are stuck at 0% on all our characters....

Speak with your wallet!.. Seems to be a my new recurring theme with all these MMO's now..
They do something the majority don't like and refuse to budge on it, do something they don't like an refuse to pay to play or buy anything and just move on...Time to take your power back from these companies and people.
I know I for one will be avoiding the cartel market like the plague now and just wait for my subscriber coins. My little payback for making me have to PVE to PVP and this silly little bar on my screen that is difficult to move and seemed to be a big failure on the PTS...

I exclusively play the whole game in the pvp map instances. If you don’t know about these, you may not realise you have to change to a pvp map. (There are only a few areas that don’t have this, aka, starting worlds, fleets and places like Odessen).
But that doesn’t mean you’ll get to OWPVP often because 99.99% of players don’t use those instances. Either other pvpers don’t want to do OWPVP when they play pve content or they find disconcerting that the maps are empty and the game feels even more dead than it is because you see no one.
Personally, I don’t understand why other pvpers don’t exclusively use those instances, but they don’t. So I don’t know what that says about them?
The upside of playing in the pvp instances is you never have to wait for mobs or bosses to get things completed because there is no one to compete with. That is part of the reason I use them. But it also gives me a slight possibility I might get to fight someone (even if it’s rare).
Yeah I always do all my questing in the PVP instance/zone...And you're right this game seems to have PVPers yet when you go into a PVP instance/zone there might be 1 or maybe 2 other people while leveling... That is just sad tbh...
I started a new sorc a little time after I made this post, I created him on the SF server...I decided to make him Republic thinking that more people would play the Imperial side and perhaps be more aggressive as well... I finally got him to 75 yesterday, and the whole time while I was leveling I only got into ONE WPVP fight... WOW...
Really sad thing was that was the only time I actually saw a Imp too.. So I went from level 1-75 and saw ONE enemy faction player...
I think I resubbed to the wrong game... I like it and all, I actually think it is really really fun, but I want to WPVP as well as do instance PVP and this does not appear to be the game to do both.

Your best bet would be the cross-faction Dantooine daily area during prime time. There's usually people to kill, and sometimes there are other groups of pvpers that you can fight against (vs2, vs3 engagements)
You can even grab a couple friends and invade the faction outpost, dispatching the guards and slaying confused rp'ers as they load in to the zone. Good times.

Yeah its an old thing, which I would love to see, yet I do not think its top on the Devs list.
I know it might not be top, but it should be up their a bit.. IMO that is the one thing missing from this awesome game. They need to do something to jump start PVP, anything would be helpful...

At the game's earliest days, Ilum OWPVP was the only "endgame" available. So yeah people did this.
I've been playing since 3.x or so and it was not a thing then already. On occasion people farm achieves but no one does the actual pvping. Your best shot would be dueling people I suppose or going Ilum during the Gree event. Haven't really seen people doing rakghould tunnels pvping, no PvP quests there and fewer achieves...
This is truly sad, pvp in the warzone's are actually fun... They just do not pop enough for me...
I wish they would give people more incentives to do world PVP

Yeah there's a whole open world pvp world, it's called Ilum and it's pretty damn coo.... Wait nvm, it's gone...

The best you’re probably going to get is to head to the Gree Enclave area on Ilum or the rakghoul tunnels during the events and hope you find some people in the PvP-instances.
Ok cool thank you, this is what I was looking for, any other areas like this? Someone told me in game that Tatooine has some PVP options...
Any recommendations on if I should be dark or light? I figured more people would be dark so I would run into more PVPers if I went light?

Hello guys first of all I understand that this is not the game if I really want to enjoy open world pvp...However I just can't get myself to play anymore WOW or any other MMO since I kinda like this one atm..
So can anyone that knows where I can get any OWPVP action going please give me some tips to find some as I level? Like what server I should join, what faction, what worlds I can run into some NME's at, etc.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

I hate to be too dismissive of player concerns (but I will be anyway); one of the biggest reasons these things are tough on players (some of them) is that the human mind is conditioned to resist change. Its a built in obstacle and it takes a while for people to accept and move on. We see this all the time in software design. You can show someone an objectively better system/design and they simply won't accept it because its a change to their way of life.
Or maybe many of us feel like to follow the motto of "If it's not broke, don't freaking fix it." There was nothing wrong with the old system, us players liked it... So why mess with something we had no issue with?...

I don't even wanna play this crap anymore.. This game went from my number 1 thing to do to feeling like a freaking job trying to level up.. I don't even want to log in anymore... And I know many others feel just like me, just look at the pops since this crap expansion.

This is a dumbed down system for mediocre gameplay. Yay vanilla. Why not give us all the same skill and 1 button to constantly mash. I would hate to have to think for myself and figure something out. Tell me the best way to go BW and here take my money. On second thought, I am canceling my sub and going f2p. I recommend everyone that sees this new skill tree as the fail that it is do the same. This is a business and the only thing that will get their attention is money. Unless I see an acceptable change, I'll ride out whats left of my sub and find something that isnt pandering to a 12 year old.

Noone asked for this new system, NOONE... But yet these um guys over at BW thought it would be a good idea... Well your "Good idea" is about to cost you SUBS... Your population was doing well, once people deal with these changes my money is on a big population dip for you...
I won't even get into the fact that you pretty much gimped my class in PVP...And not being able to clean DOTS anymore???.. What tard came up with the idea of not being able to clean something ever minute pretty much ever class can spam nonstop....

Can't tell you how much time and effort I put into leveling up a sniper before this expansion went live... Got yelled at by GF because I was spending to much time on the game, was almost late a few times at work, didn't want to go to work, etc..
Then this craptastic patch hits and it has turned this game into DOT city...
I spent a lot of money on this game recently and feel like a complete idiot for doing it!
Anyways I un-subbed... Back to Planetside 2 I go... Yeaaaahhh......

Done this 10 times even made the file read only and as soon as the launcher launches Bit raider appears again and the game reverts every thing back that I changed.... Still stuck at 0.00% download and can only play newbie characters..
This game is a freaking virus.
