  1. I am looking for a big active guild that will be getting a guild flagship. My guild currently has 300 members but only 3-4 are on at a time. I want to be able to participate in the flagship update with a guild that is active. Im a casual player, and new. Currently rolling a level 30 Shadow. Still new to mmorpgs (this is my first) but i'd love to contribute to anything the guild is doing.
  2. Figured I'd stop by I say hello on the intro section on the forums. I've been playing for the past 2 weeks and I absolutely love this game. (Mainly cuz Star Wars is my favorite thing ever created :D) But so far the storylines and gameplay have great and everyone I've seen/talked to on the forums is super nice!
  3. Granted, but then he's not around to make Zardoz, and in a cruel twist of fate, human civilization immediately collapses into an exact facsimile of the society presented in Zardoz. And there are no more Jamesh Bond movies. Ever.

I wish I could think of a good wish that could not be corrupted.

Granted, but your "uncorruptable wish" ruins the thread, utterly destroying the forums as we know it.

I wish I had force push.

  4. I am currently in a guild with my only character I have. I was planning making a new one and primarily playing on the new one, but I still want to be in that guild, so do I need to rejoin the guild? or is the guild attached to my account?
  5. My first and only character in this game is a sentinel level 24, but as im progressing through the storyline im beginning to more and more dislike using double lightsabers, I feel like I'd rather use the force in some situations rather than swinging my lightsabers wild, the reason why im hesitant to switch is the leveling aspect, (I know im only level 24) but now that im playing regularly again after work, would it take a while to get back to where I was as a sentinel?
  6. You're not wrong. The game environment is less a virtual world, more a movie set, a backdrop for your adventures. It never really improves in that way. SWTOR was my first MMORPG, and it took me a while to get used to this. The enemies all just hang around waiting for you to come and kill them, and the NPCs just stand there all day waiting to give out quests. Just like actors waiting to play their role or say their lines when the director shouts "action!" And pretty soon they'll be right back, waiting for the next person to come along and do it again.

Having played a few more games like this since, I have discovered these lifeless "movie set" worlds are a standard in the genre, and it isn't really unique to SWTOR. Lots of games are like this really, but MMOs do a bad job of concealing it, and immersing you in the game world.

You just have to get your head around it. If it's something that bothers you, maybe you won't enjoy the game all that much.

Na it doesn't bother me that much, i wish that was a part of the game, maybe im just hoping it would have been a open world game such as gta where you can go everywhere, but im not at all disappointed in the game, i still really enjoy playing it

  7. I feel like the thing i believe this game is lacking is a sense of city-life/planet-life. As in i mean that just about every planet is swarmed with enemies, and the only areas that aren't are small bases or the hallways that lead to other infested areas. I wish you could walk around coruscant and go into shops or admire some of the buildings as you walk by, small stuff like that i feel like everything is just one speeder pad to the next or one enemy area to the next. I may be wrong i'm only level 20 and haven't experienced everything but as of now those are my impressions. I still love the game though don't get me wrong.
