Unless I missed it somewhere, I didn't see mention of a double XP event this May the 4th week. Was this intentional are by accident? I have a few 75's that I need to get leveled up to 80 and was waiting for 2x XP to do so.

Yup, we ran into the same problem. Here are some links to photos of what we were experiancing. On the first boss, we were getting one shot left and right, took 3 tries to get him down, seems a little overpowered than before.
On Garj, there were no small rocks so we had to run through the lava to each platform.

For Soa, the second ring of platforms was invisible but still there if we ran accross it.\

Also cannot log back into the game, other guild members say they can't login and or change toons.

I also cannot log back into game on Star Forge, stuck on Ruhnuk load screen, little blue thing in lower right hand corner turning away. Other members in guild mention they can't login or change toons.

That's a good idea, but in my case it goes so fast (My guildmates jokingly say I live the servers basement as I live close to the datacenter in VA) and it seems to be totally random. It will work fine for two or three days and then bam, it's downloading again, like just now. And of course it says game version doesn't match. I'll have to open task manager each time before the game to see if it actually downloads.

Got this again tonight after a week of no issues. I cannot stress how annoying this is and it's really starting to cause issues with our guild getting stuff going on time.

Yeah, these two bugs are really getting annoying. Usually a reboot will correct the version error but I can't keep doing that every time I want or NEED to play as I'm an officer in a guild. If I'm in charge one night and have to spend a lot of time rebooting every time I log in, we won't get started on time. Most of the time this may not sound like a big deal but we run at 8pm and aim to be done by 10pm so our sister imp guild can run their activities. Coupled with the loading screen bug it's turned some nights into a disaster. One night we couldn't get going until nearly 830 because half of the team got the loading bug when we summoned to a planet. They had to relog and a few had to reboot. Not everyone has a super fast computer for this and it took a couple of members over 15 minutes to get back into game.

I think this is tied to PTS as on one PC, I turned off "enable PTS access" on the launcher of one PC and the problem corrected itself. Now it's doing this error on my second PC that has never had PTS enabled and it's a fresh install as it's a brand new computer. This is unacceptable that this is being allowed to go on from when it was first noticed a couple weeks ago. I had the same problem this evening to the point where I had to switch machines. When I went back to may main machine it started working after I disabled "Enable Test Server" on the launcher.

I would recommend uninstalling the C++ mentioned above, reboot, then reinstall.

After installing Steam version, it gave me the error about steam account. I didn't want that particular account tied to Steam BUT the main install from SWTOR site started working. I think there's a distribution file missing on the SWTOR version that gets installed by Steam on first start of game.

I also am having this same issue on a new download from SWTOR website. My PC is a Maingear MG-VCP17 laptop with AMD Ryzen 5900HX, Nvidia 3070, 32GB Ram. Same issue whether it was Windows 10 or 11. Will download on Steam and report back if that works. I would prefer not to run through Steam however so please fix this.

On a brand new Asus Flow Z13 the game will not start, running latest version of 11. 10.0.22000 (21H2) It was able to install the game but won't run no matter what setting I try. I'm going to try a couple of work arounds and let you all what I come up with.
Specs; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050, Intel Core i7-12700H, 16GB LPDDR5, 512GB PCIe SSD
I was able to get mine to work after downloading and installing the Launcher Repair Utility tool. My issue was with my system having a 12th gen Alder Lake CPU.

Our guild also was unable to get passed this fight on 16 man, We then dropped to 8 man and got a bit further but then the candle disappeared after we got the next part of the fight and couldn't go any further.

Well, guess I'm going to have to find a new game to play. I don't like a lot of where this game is going. They're literally gutting everything I've enjoyed about gearing. Play your way to gear? Gone. Now we have to play the weeklies they specify. Enjoyed amplifiers? They're gone too. Dailies/Weeklies stretched across days/weeks? Nope, we're going to TAKE them from you because to heck with your choices. Enjoy earning tech frags from every content area? Nope, gone. Enjoyed renown/crates for the extra gearing they gave along with conquest gains? Nope, gone. Remember those achieves you've worked towards? Haha, silly peeps, we're taking them AND the points away too! Oh and those perks you spent millions on for each character? BAHAHAHA REMOVED!
Bioware please listen. Just hold off, wait to get it all together when it is ready to release and release it next year. Don't try and rush it out the door before it's finished. You WILL drive away most of your current player base. And I'll be one of them.

Some of my guild mates got that but then suddenly everyone got in. Also couldn't switch planets or go to strongholds on toons that were still logged in. But suddenly it caught up and everyone got in.
The fact that I had to pay 2.5m for trading 10 adrenals and 10 medpacks to my raidmate is just wrong. You need to revert this.

As a recruiter in my guild, I do see that quite often. But mostly people that hop in and first check the guild bank and then dip when they can't take anything.
