My favourite class and story is the trooper. I also love Taris and Hoth. I don't really like Kira, and I don't get what so many others see in her. I love Jorgan.

My biggest gripe is a tossup between my main being stuck in KOTFE chap 16 final fight (can't proceed), or the fact that all my commendations were converted into 0 credits.

 

My bounty hunter is stuck on that bugged fight too. Hope they fix that quickly.

Same here. Current character had 551 common, 320 glowing and 99 radiant crystals. Now I have no crystals and no extra credits.

I figured it was worth necroing, since I -just- contacted CSR again to try to set this straight, and their response was to lie to my face by claiming it was never bugged. No one could ever buy it off the GTN, and to say if I don't have it, that just means I wasn't eligible for it. -Everyone- who qualified has it according to them.

Black Talon now has a solo-mode that gives a droid that tanks and heals. Combined with your companion, it's easy.

Yeah, I'd probably have maxed out more then one WoW character if they took on SWTOR's way of MMO storytelling.

You've already been answered - get a security key. If you don't want to get one, or can't, then you have to deal with the one time passwords. I don't know why you're getting so angry over something designed to protect your account. I would much rather have to deal with an extra password, rather than have my account information compromised.

I believe the "answer" they gave regarding the subject was that they wanted companions' return to have "meaningful impact on the story".

 

No idea if people will actually see through that to the gimmick they're using: bring back all the least popular comps in the first season, forcing the romantics to wait/stay til season 2 at least.

 

Shows how weak the story actually is, if what people are looking forward to most is finding out where their LI is.

 

There are a lot of things that make no sense in the KotFE story arc with the npc's behavior, but that's Bioware trying to milk cash at minimal effort.

Go read my original posts. I quit posting in 2012. Only when I saw the game going into a what I see as a dangerous position did I begin posting again in 2016. And when I did I got absolutely wrecked by a core of people who refused to allow my view point to be legitimized. And what started off on a very calm and relaxed conversation turned into a full time 100% defensive position I was forced into. And I decided after getting wrecked 24/7 on the forums to go from defensive to offensive. And now I refuse to take any more crap from this core of groupies who think it is funny to try and wreck me ever time I post.

 

That is why I say NOW if you mess with the bull, your gonna get the horns. That was not my position at first, but it is my position now. I will not go defensive with this group any longer. Now you take a shot at me and my post, I'm coming back 10 fold and 10 times stronger of an attack then the attacker. Its just how it is for me at this point. I did not start the fight, but I assure you I will finish it.

 

Except I wasn't attacking you. I genuinely meant it here, and in the other thread, that I hope you find something else you enjoy out there. I'm sorry that you've had such a bad time here that you automatically viewed my well-wishes with hostility, when none was intended.

I probably have been...but that's because I think he got ripped a new one well before he (as far as I know) began getting upset.

 

He made this post and it was a legit question...Harbinger is great and VERY healthy...right now....but what happens next time?

 

Like me, he's probably on his 4th server...he's seen this before too...it crossed my mind as well...I just don't think he deserved the beating he got for asking that.

 

I get that. I just think he was hostile and combative from the start. He's never going to get the response he wants from most people though, as it's difficult to see past all the insults and aggression in everything he posts. Valid arguments and questions are lost behind his attitude.

I've always been quick to defend the players. You guys are 99% of the reason I play this game...I want more of you guys, not less...the same people jumping on MO here are half the reason he decided to quit the game...it bothers me that a few select people can insult others to the point of them saying "ya know what, I quit", without recourse.

No problems. I came in at F2P and there was lost of hostility towards players like me at the beginning, and you were a shining example of a veteran player who was encouraging and friendly towards us. You still are, most of the time. I just feel that you're been giving MO more of a free pass on some of his behaviour.

If it's that hard, perhaps you should take a break from the forums. Your lack of self control is no excuse.

 

Honestly, you should be taking your own advice. You seem very eager to jump on anyone who disagrees with you and your evaluation of the game recently, and very quick to defend someone you agree with, regardless of how insulting they are. I understand that you're deeply frustrated with the game, but you used to be the shining example of a pvp/group orientated player who was willing to discuss things civilly with people of differing playstyles/viewpoints, and quick to call out jerks, even if you agreed with their basic premise. Now you only seem to call out those who have differing views to you.

I am all done playing this game until they do this. It is disgusting to watch this game disloving because people like me are leaving or have already left because the population of this game is only enough for 1 US and 1 EU server and they refuse to address this issue.

 

I refuse to play this game in it current condition. Merge the servers and Ill return. Until then kiss my subscription goodbye.

I hope that PVPers and other group orientated players get more content at some point, honestly. But I am loving the monthly story content update model they're using. I like not having to wait months to a year for something I enjoy to be added to the game.

I must have had mine sitting around for months, and was able to use it after the recent sale started, so I definitely think that the CS rep made a mistake with yours. Literally it's been at least 7 months since I clicked on a referral link.

I understood the post as them asking for the chances of getting the prizes to be lowered, and therefore harder to get anything from the event, like the contraband nerf. Not asking for it to be easier to get them.

the game is not dead or dying, the servers are not dead and dying, PvP is dying, and that's what all these chicken littles are not wanting to face so they say game is dead or servers are dead... the reality of it is PvP is dying in RPGs that were not built around it in the first place... every RPG i play there's always a handful of the same people complaining about how much PvP is totally inactive... the poor sports of PvP have killed it to where nobody wants to play with them, besides RPGs are for story (and/or roleplay) anyway... PvP has naturally moved from RPGs to MOBAs and Shooters... if you're only looking at PvP sure almost every RPG will look dead to you, because lets face it PvP in RPGs is going the way of the dodo... i will not be leaving Jedi Covenant because i see people all over the place every time i log in, JC isn't even close to dead, but PvP, now that's taking it's last gasps in the RPG genre...
