  1. I think lvl sync for ops is going to make anything sub lvl cap a walk in the park, cause u can just hit stat cap and do more dps relatively speaking. The less HP though in 258 on ossus is troubling though.

     

    Still, i do not understand y they r going out of their way to do stuff that is not needed. Have all the ops at max lvl. Y do there need to be so many complications. Has BW never heard of the acronym KISS? It stands for keep it simple silly.

     

    This never once since i play swtor ive heard somone said ''would be nice it these ops scaled down to our level'' why even put time and effort into that kind of feature, When there so many other things player are asking since day 1 like a cosmetic weapon slot

  2. This is what is on PTS right now.

     

    RNG from Vendor "A" (paid with tech fragments)

    RNG from Vendor "B" (paid with tech fragments)

    NPC loot drops that are by nature supposed to be RNG

    RNG boss loot drops of varying types/degrees of difficulty.

     

    The only gearing system that isn't RNG is crafting, which has its own set of massive problems.

     

    The patch yesterday made Vendor "A" not give out downgrades in gear as it did in it's first iteration.

    Vendor "B" is the one where you get your set bonus gear...currently CAN give you downgrades due to RNG.

     

     

    What I don't understand is they have a version in place, right now, with what's on live, that most people are pretty happy with.

    If you want specific drops of specific levels, go do an ops boss and roll for the drop.

    Don't have luck there? Spend UCs at a vendor and get your gear upgrade that way (takes longer, but it's 100% what you want).

     

    There is no rational reason, that I've seen explained, to change it away from what we have.

     

    add to this the 20 different type of mods and the RNG on amplifier...i think the key word here is RNG RNG RNG

  3. For some ungodly reason I can't download PTS like I have in the past, so I'm stuck learning about 6.0 second-hand here on the forums. Let me know if my impression from what I've read across multiple threads is even close:

     

     

    • Alacrity threshold is being raised
    • 236 and 240 augs are being nerfed,
    • companion healing down 15%,
    • the stat budget for higher gear doesn't preserve stat percentages as you go up, so you have to juggle more to stay even, but you can't because high crit simultaneously with high alacrity isn't happening,
    • DPS who need to sacrifice a bit of crit for accuracy will be harder hit, and
    • the gear grind just became unfathomly stupid.

     

    And [Edit]: 1.3 GCD is hard to reach if not impossible.

     

    But hey! Good news! We get nautolans, so like I need more toons like I need another hammer taken to my head, I can make nauts!

     

    Dude *** ? you dont like RNG with your RNG ? here we will add another layer of RNG. Make sur to grind Hammer Station 10 hours a day for 6 month to get BIS....

  4. This whole new "shells that have different set bonuses" and "tacticals" is just turning me off. Not to mention crafting which is an absolute RIP part of the game now. It looks like it'll become more tiresome then ever. Remember 5.0 launch and people farming Fractured to get to CR 300 ? Is this what we need to be doing in the launch of 6.0 as well ? Coz I ain't like that. Never played this game as it was a farming simulator. Sure, I'll push myself for a week or two to get reputation or an achievement, but I'll never farm a single piece of content, just so that I can get quickly over the trashy barriers they've put in my way.

    100% people will run Hammer Station to gear....7 yrs after lauch the contend of 6.0 ladies and gentlemens . a RNG gearing system this is the end game contend

  5. You forgot that in current patch along with high alacrity and 1.3 gcd we also have high crit - about 44%. But in 6.0 it seems impossible to have both alacrity and crit at the same high level, whereas we would like to keep it if not make it even higher

     

    An weak atempt at stats squish from bioware. Sound like they watched BFA fail and decided to do the same slower rotation less stats. weird gearing system full of RNG

  6. I honestly thought and believed that as the game progresses, new things will become more easily accessible - case in point, 1,2 seconds GCD.

     

    I'm dumbfound to why the opposite seems to be the goal with the new 6.0 system. Why ? Just curious.

     

    because they are nering every fun aspect of the game apparently now everything has to be a painful slow grind even the rotation of your character is nerfed

  7. Selective hearing. You're taking the feedback on how to make your terrible gear grind system, and ignoring all of us pleading with you not to implement it!

     

    You know what you are creating? A mobile game gearing system. A few years back there was a game called Star Wars Uprising for mobile. It was pretty fun. But the gearing. endless grinds, rng stats etc. Of course that was intended to keep you playing and tempt you to pay $$ to speed up the process. What are you doing putting something like that into an MMO?

     

    I seriously have to think that you are being mandated from above to push this system in, ignoring the massive feedback that you aren't giving us a fun gearing system, but instead the same skinner box style gearing that has penetrated the shooter genre from mobile as well.

     

    Shareholders are more important than players.

     

    100% this its exactly a mobile gearing system...I wont be part of this non sense. Command system was a disaster this 6.0 system is even worse
