Well, I'm going to go with never. That's right, we're never going to get a real expansion although....EA would make some money on it. Say 200K subscribers at 60.00 for the expansion would be....around 12 mil. See EA, a real expansion would pay off and I was going low on the number of people who would buy it.
Well you would also need to subtract development, publishing and hosting out of those costs. All of which would lower the profit significantly

I can't stand people comparing everything to CoD, CoDs 5 hour content is just the single player, which nobody cared about. Its the multiplayer that matters same goes for Battlefield.
Just like everything everyone here has been spouting off, that is your opinion. I myself liked the campaign of both of those games and actually thought multiplayer of MW3 was garbage(See, my opinion).

Im dissapointed in the "expansion" as well. It was worth the 10 bucks but pretty much what I expected, a weeks worth of content and half of it being rehashed instances. I would have much rather gotten a full size expansion and paid 50 bucks for it. That is likely to never come IMO. If it took them this long to create this small planet with a weeks worth of content at most, then i just dont think they have the resources to do a proper expansion. Also, its likely the game will not last very long due to taking so long to make 1 DLC that is so short of content.

Blame EA. EA is more interested in results instead of content. If bioware wasn't hindered by EA's failure, they would have brought out something so much better.
Blame EA for what? It is fun, and a lot of people think so as well. It looks like EA made a pretty good financial decision. One can see why their stock is worth more than the makers of that other MMO.

How I got 3 months in without notification is one of my issues, but more a heads up. for others I have updated my account. I don't want to give too many details on that for security reasons.. I would think courtesy (to me, or greed by THEM) should have a notification I have not seen, or don't remember.
As for the reskilling, just because everyone had to do it doesn't make it less irritating. And as an ex programmer, I know it should have been easy to avoid.
Being an ex-programmer probably means you weren't very good at it, but regardless; the skill trees changed, if they had left the skill points as they were then you would have different skills and complained about that as well. Some people just need to complain, only way to feel better about themselves I suppose.

The solution would be to have a level 50 war hero vendor instead of removing expertise from existing war hero gear. There was no need to remove it, since a large portion of the population still plays without the expansion.
The changes in stats came in 2.0 not expansion.

I'm done trying to prove a point to people who read what the want and not what is right there in front of them.
I wont quit. I'll just un-sub and play this multi-million dollar game for free because it's literally worthless to me at this point other than to kill time in between things I need to do.
All in all this game is good. Just the constant changes are making it worse and worse as time goes by, and as far as I can tell the the community is already crappy.
And still no one cares...

You know in the 50's there was plenty of assaults, they were called fights. And now that you mention it I work in a school and we have never had one incident of rape. Where is your school?

But yeah the Makeb story alone is easily worth $10 for me. I enjoyed it. Everything else is just an added bonus.
It's not really, he was complaining about something he paid for that he finished in 3 days. The point being made was that CoD costs 6 times more and is finished in a fraction of the time but you never hear people complain as often about that fact.

It wasn't a new planet.
It was this small little thing, broken down by tiny islands, with enemies every two meters from one another, having only the word DAILIES in mind. The storyline, especially the imperial one, was awesome but their approach to Makeb itself as a breathing and alive world, with its own culture and history, was frankly disappointing.
Again that is quite the opinion, I myself am rather enjoying Makeb.
And it was a planet. That's like saying Canada isn't really a country because half of it is a frozen waste land

But still to remove the gear that someone worked for is *********** wrong, no matter how you see it.
IDC if every other MMO in the history of gaming did it. It doenst make it the right thing to do. We pay 15 dollars a month (plus countless amount of money on cartel coins and the 10 dollars on the expansion) and we get stripped of something that we literally pay to to gain access to then spent hours/days of our time to work for when we could be doing something else, and you just go along with the "all the cool kids do it" excuse. That is terrible.
And it is not "useless" gear. It is useless to the player who wants to have the best of the best of the best pvp gear. Not to the person who just want to have an advantage in certain situations.
It may not have ben right but it sure isn't worth the temper tantrum you are throwing right now, I lost mine too but it's a game, I'm over it.
