  1. level 28 I've been playing since the 15th of December. I'm just not a fast leveler anymore

I've done mostly quests with a few space combat missions.

No pvp or flashpoints yet. I'm not really interested in doing that stuff.

Which is probably why I'm leveling at the rate.

  2. Nothing requires you to dualspec a healer. It's your money, and their party. If you're not willing to spec healer, then you an be booted - just as they can get someone else to fill your role/the healer's role. No one should be required to play what they do not want to play. :)

However; for Rift's system, it was actually a good concept and a lot of fun. It allowed me to play all the roles I wanted to as my Rogue, and I had a lot of fun with it. The issue always came in with equipment for me, however - especially gear that required Marks. Very painful.

Yeah I liked rift system as well. I never bought the game though. I only played in the beta.

It was really cool to mix and match talent trees like necromancer/healer.

  3. To the people that don't want a LFG tool: why is a PvP tool ok, but a Flashpoint tool is not? You don't have to /1 for a PvP group... you don't even have to run to a "Battlemaster" to join a Warzone. So tell me!

I actually wonder the same thing. To pvp you just hit button and pop your there.

Why should pve be any different? Other then its pve.

Even DCUO had RDF from launch I think or at least the last time I played it did.

  4. First off, druids are spoiled and most of us are sick of how Blizzard has treated that class in comparison to the rest of us.

Secondly -- you shouldn't have done that. You should have thought forward. It's not like the game has any degree of difficulty until around the point you get your second companion -anyway-.

And, at least for the Consular and Knight first companions, they can be either DPS or tanks depending on your role and the current encounter. You don't need a healing companion at that point in the game. I'm sorry but you can't claim to have been forced into choosing a role to compliment your first companion, unless you were trying to make your companion play the game for you.

Forward thinking is a necessary part of MMO's, and life in general.

And this why this game is not gonna last. People like you. I'm done here have a nice day.

  5. When there's two DPS trees and one healing tree or tanking tree in utility AC's, yes. We need dual-spec. "Stick to your role" is an understandable sentiment, but consider the fact that AC's have two trees for a single role (ideally, one PVE focused and one PVP focused).

As a general rule I do not want to go into a warzone in the same spec I PvE as.

Just please don't back down on the no AC respec rule. This is wonderful and needs to stay in place.

Thing about what I underlined. If your leveling solo in the game with only the help the a companion you have no choice but to pick the Advance class that works best your first companion.

Like mako is healer she works best with a tank so I picked the tank advance class but when I get blizz my jawa tank companion later on the game I would of like to be a healer for him but I can't because I'm stuck with my advance class because I made the choice to pick what felt the most efficient route

Don't even give me the oh but you can't do that in WoW because I've got a druid that was dual spec tank and healer and I had both sets of gear for the specs.

I use to run randoms all the time on him.

  6. See, that's the problem. Most people don't play these kinds of games to meet people and make friends with strangers. It's creepy, and it never works out. The game needs to focus on joining up for a mission, completing it, and going your separate ways. That's what most players want out of an MMO.

While Call of Duty is not mmo but just way the game lets you jump right and pick up and play is what makes very popular and the same can sort of be said about WoW.

  7. Soloing is only really hard when you pick the wrong spec. Take my Bounty hunter for example.

Because of my starter companion being a healer I had to pick the tank Advance class or I would end getting trucked later on.

I speced dps for alittle bit and found my self almost instantly dieing on class quest that I was at the appropriate level with my healing companion. So basicly I feel forced into tanking since I would end up taking damage to quickly for the healer to keep up.

Which is I think Advance class respec would be nice since when I get blizz my jawa companion I would of like to be heals for him but I'm stuck so when I get him he won't feel as useful as mako.

Go back to tank spec and I got though with alittle luck and skill. My BH is 28 on alderaan. I've seen people around me that much high level then me and I wonder how they do that?

Well I would assume they run flashpoints and pvp to gain the extra level.

Space combat helps too though. I suppose I need to do that more.

Still for MMO that suppose to be solo friendly It sure doesn't feel that way sometimes.

Even WoW I don't feel forced into a spec just to get to level cap.
