  1. With all due respect...

First of all, don't call me sweety - thanks. Second off, I believe that the suggestion box is a place for suggestions, and as long as that is true, I will continue to attempt to grow this thread and also start others. Honestly, your point is noted, but no offense - I really don't care. It's not too late until the game closes it servers and shuts down it's websites with a big "goodbye" note left on the CEO's office desk - so while I acknowledge the fact that you think it's too late, I must respectfully and completely disagree. I won't shut down a good suggestion because of one opinion telling me that it's "too late".

Would you prefer Honey? Honestly, it's a great idea and I'm totally behind it, but at this point, it's just not going to happen. We've been asking for this since Rise of the Hutt Cartel, along with returning to our own class stories.

Now, IF it were to happen... we'd need all the romance companions returned, which from what I understand, we're still a good few short and they'd need a good reason to fit into the overall story.

Again, I really would love it but considering the direction the game has taken since RotHC... Lana and Theron are the go to companions if you want long term romance / interactions.

There isn't enough funding for the devs to throw around to update 16 (romance options) - 40 (overall) interactions. I wish there was, but there isn't.

  2. Agreed! I don't know what fetish these guys have with sticking bits and pieces to otherwise great looking armour!

You know we have four, FOUR exact same versions of the Rectified Brawler set? (Rectified, Nimble, Dynamic and Battleworn Jedi <-- this one isn't a collectable) They are just slightly different coloured. At least one of those four could have had that *********** shoulder pad and whatever the **** backpack that is removed. But no.

To be fair, they have been getting somewhat better at not throwing **** at armour and seeing what sticks... but it still happens here and there on sets that really don't need it.

Edit: I stand corrected, the Dynamic Brawler doesn't have the shoulder, but it still has that ridiculous back piece.

  3. Not gonna happen. We've been asking for this since Rise of the Hutt Cartel and so far, after vanilla SWTOR we've gone from:

SWTOR - 8 separate class stories

Rise of the Hutt Cartel - 2 faction specific stories

Shadow of Revan - 1 dual faction story (notice the drastic decline?)

Knights of the Fallen Empire - The Outlander story, we no longer work for our chosen faction.

Knights of the Eternal Throne - KotFE continued.

Granted, there were very small nods back to your class story in SoR and again in KotFE, but sadly... we are never going to see our class stories continue separately again. The game doesn't have the funding for it.

  4. Why would it matter if he used a blaster over a staff? O.O

Have you seen his staff? I want one! And it would kinda make sense for him to keep using it, what with being Joined and all. Those Kiliks are quite handy with a melee weapon.

  5. The races currently in game are essentially different heads / skin colour on the exact same 8 body models (4 male / 4 female), we've received TWO heads in five years and no indication of when or even if we'll be getting more. Armour as little to no variation between genders (thank god, at least they got that right), the animations we've received for new abilities / old abilities look rushed and completey devoid of any thought process, PvP is in shambles, Operations are pretty much non existent, the CM is throwing out more re-skins than half the skin graft clinics worldwide...

    ...

and you want a quad armed alien species that has the possibility to wield not one, not TWO, but FOUR saberstaffs or one cannon and two blasters?

Are you on the correct game forums?

  6. I doubt I'll stay subbed long enough (nothing to do with the state of the game or anything, it's just how I am with MMO's, I still have the Jedi Knight and Bounty Hunter story lines to complete 5 years on o.o) to enact my final vengeance of death upon him as my Dark side Warrior so I'll have to settle with what I already have planned (haven't even got around to getting him as a companion yet in about... 3 years?), which is essentially -

(mostly.... in my head canon I chopped off pieces, and put him back together with cybernetic parts)

This. After his little betrayal, Evisceratia will "see" to him on the ship. Vette will be cowering somewhere in the cargo bay, wishing the blood curdling cries of pain would end as his eyes are painfully removed from their sockets. Followed next by his hands being crushed, slowly, one finger crunch at a time before they are removed with a vibroblade, and ending with the week long breaking of his legs and eventual removal of his lower body. The screams eventually stopped as his endless howls of agony damaged his vocal cords to the point of no return. The bloody mess was then tossed into the kolto tank unceremoniously and watched over by a visibly shaking 2V-R8 to make sure he didn't die.

Of course, she isn't a complete lunatic. Obviously you still want a crisp, well groomed Imperial answering your most important holo calls so she allowed him to keep his face, hair and uniform jacket.

*haughty sniff* the story needs a bit of refining but you get the gist I'm sure.

  7. To preface I'm in a guild with a fully unlocked ship very few active members so I'm not going to throw that away and move to another server like some potato famine refugee. I would love to check out the new uprisings but unfortunately, can't get a queue to pop. I've shouted out on fleet but nobody is interested which is odd considering the new uprisings just came out this week.

Is there a way the Devs can let us utilize multiple companions like we've seen in the latest chapters?

    some potato famine refugee

Hey! You leave the Irish out of this!

  8. I really agree.

Becoming Empress isn't something my Agent set out to do at any point, nor is it in here interest in the slightest. Not to mention it sure as hell isn't where I thought she (or any of the other classes) would have ended up at any point of their stories. I know we all essentially drop what we were and merge into the Outlander, but the fact remains... I think they took this a little too far.

  9. In Knights of the Fallen Empire, Kaliyo became a flirtable option for female characters.

I believe the reason there is that she was hinted at being Bisexual in the original game (fairly certain I recall her flirting with my female agent), hence the option to flirt with her now.

I can imagine it being easy for them to do it though with the two newcomers, it's really just a matter of letting either gender trigger the dialogue and having the responses gender neutral.

  10. Hey All!

    *SNIP*

    What do YOU think?

Oh sweety... you're a little bit late to the party with this one... like, three expansions too late.

    Don't get me wrong, as much as I enjoy flirting and romancing Lana... I want Vector back ;_;

But it's just not gonna happen at this point. Our class stories are a long forgotten dream and with them, our (former) romances.

  11. I have seen this kind of conversation many times now.

Every time I open the hangar I think it's really sad that all this work went into this game aspect that so many don't take part in because it's exclusively PvP. Giving it a PvE aspect could open it up for a lot more players, giving them another area of activity. (And once they feel they got the hang of it, some might even be inclined to try the PvP parts of it.)

Of course, co-op GSF would be awesome, but for starters, some pve missions would be nice.

Would be nice to get away from the on rails shooter as it's become more of a chore than anything else lately and once I get the reputation I want for that Helmet, I'll likely not be looking back.

  12. I do like how they aren't even trying to hide their disdain for Smugglers anymore, every other class has at least one companion already and a couple have 3 and nothing for the Smugglers even though Risha, Bowdar, Akaavi, and Corso would all fit fairly naturally into the plot.

Given that I'll bet f***ing Guss will be the first one we get (if we ever get one)

How would they fit naturally into the plot? Bowdaar is being brought back, and has been fit into the plot from what I can tell, but please explain how any of the others would?

Corso - a farm boy. Without you around, I can't see him getting much of anything done.

Risha - maybe? Likely took over and runs a lucrative crime business by now. Can't see her joining you since she already got what she wanted.

Akaavi - She'll likely be shoe horned into an alert somewhere seeing as she's just a mercenary.

    Guss - ???

Honestly Corso and Bowdaar were the only companions that made sense to me as actual companions for the Smuggler, maybe Risha up until everything was done and dusted with her storyline, after that I don't understand why she sticks around.

  13. Isn't this the very definition of "role playing"? I guess you're mad about all the cosplaying also? And what about actors (ie Daisy Ridley) role-playing their characters (Rey)?

Yes, there is stupid here, but it's not what you think it is.

On-topic, I don't care for the OP since there is gear that's 99% identical, if not 100%, but it's interesting to see what things different people go crazy over and spend so much time on, no matter how seemingly insignificant.

Technically, yes that is what role playing is, however role playing as an already established character is not done as you have no direction, nor information on how that character thinks / would act in certain situations and you're gonna **** it up. Sure you can gauge from what we've seen already, but if you're going to role play as an already established character, you're headed into fan fiction territory and should not be interacting with other role players

The fact of the matter is, Marr is dead, not wandering the local cantina's of Nar Shadaa or standing atop the ramp outside of the Sith Academy on Korriban.
