[Am I the only one waiting on Revan showing up? (Post-KotFE talk)]

As much I love the character Revan, it's better all around that he not show up. Especially considering the near universal hatred fans have for him on these forums.

I can't blame people tbh, fanboys/girls are fanatic to the point that we might have a real life Order of Revan...but still that's not fair for the character since it'd surely be interesting to have him show up imo.

 

I think I'd die from a nerdgasm long before I realized that it made no sense (And the overlap in voice actors alone would be tremendously confusing).

 

Also, each of my previous protagonists is more than capable of handling galaxy wide problems on their own =)

At least it'd be the most beautiful nerdgasm we'll ever experience...

Well Revanites have an extended version of the Jedi saying: "May the Force be with you, may it keep you strong." The strength part is more 'Sithy' since the whole thing being a Revanite is combining Jedi and Sith ideology. I'm pretty sure I heard 'May the Force give you strength.' or something along those lines somewhere in KotFE...maybe it was Lana.

My oh-so-unstoppable Darth Nox is loving Valkorion's powers, his philosophy and being a part of his great plan. She used to detest the Emperor because his attitude towards her nagged at her astronomical ego, but now she is flattered that she has garnered a great deal of attention from him. After that 'dream sequence' with Valkorion she genuinely believes that the galaxy will be hers to do with as she sees fit, and that neither Empire nor Republic will do anything about it nor the two matter to her.

 

If only she kept the Sith ghosts in her, might have been more interesting...oh well she was feeling nice on that day.

The Republic and Empire are wrecked by the Eternal Empire before you find out who they are, Arcann and Thexan led their forces which is seen in the Sacrifice trailer against the Republic and Empire. All what happens in the trailer is before you find Zakuul/Eternal Empire.

I personally lied to Arkann, but I do have some weird curiosity about how this would have gone. The nature of the agreement, if it panned out that way, would've derailed the whole story if it carried out how Arkann said, so I'm wondering how it actually plays out.

 

Additionally, has anyone managed to hold onto their HK55 or is he always lost in that chapter?

Lol I lied to it was too funny to pass off imo, in regards to HK there really seems to be no way to keep him alive there. There's a whole thread about this and that's the general consensus.

Lmao yeah I had some funny feelings when everyone started calling me 'commander'. I'm waiting for a 'commander throw it out the airlock' reference. What if Bioware's ultimate plan is a team of all of our protagonists from the different BW RPGs forming up?

 

I'm at least hoping for Revan to just show up and provide insight into what's happening, as I mentioned at the end of SoR before he disappears he hints at much pain and trouble coming in the future (and that is KotFE I'm guessing?).

Well this is weird, I haven't played an SW on KotFE yet but can you confirm whether or not this is still the case after the 4.0.1 update? I played as my SI and got the correct message from my pirate bae.

At this point I'll be surprised if the Eternal Fleet isn't of Rakatan origin, why? Because even up to Ch. 9 the game has been throwing hints at force-attuned characters. It is referenced to that Rakatan technology is linked to/relies on the Force, and sometimes even more specifically the dark side. We find those objects on Zakuul which activate in our presence as force-users, and it can be safe to say that the majority of Zakuul technology is based off of the same concept as Rakatan technology. Vitiate being thousands of years old has had a lot of time to figure out Rakatan technology (let's not forget he's the epitome of dark side energy) and under the guise of Valkorion implemented it in his 'ideal society' that is Zakuul.

I agree that Jedi should have some form of Jaesa equivalent, we sort of get that with the JK I think it's on Tatooine with this Sith Pureblood that you can send to Tython and he actually becomes a padawan.

To hell with Lana and Theron (don't get me wrong they're great, I'm saying that from a romance point of view), my Inq is never giving up on her rugged pirate lover Andronikos. The message he sends makes it even harder.

You're right, perhaps not as an actual companion but one of the 'main characters' who'll help you out and just go along with you in the story. Although Revan is really good at pulling the 'lol jk I didn't die' card. xD

Well my Inquisitor is the ultimate ***** bastard of the galaxy. I really feel bad now because I'm RP-ing her agreeing with Valkorion's ideas, then I remembered Marr talking about 'you're the only one I really trust Darth Nox' but at the same time my Inq has always been power hungry. I don't even know anymore...

I mean really, at the end of SoR he goes all like Cole from Dragon Age Inquisition (there is more pain coming etc.) and that we must prepare for what must come. I really don't see why not and it'd be awesome if we could even get him as a companion in the coming chapters.
