Hey!
Since Merc and Sniper got nerved im curious what u think are gone be the new DD´s for Arena.
And no i dont ask cause i whant to fotm reroll im just curious what u guys think.
Like others are saying... no change will happen in PvP. Classes and spells requiring polish are still the same.
Just another upcoming months without chance playing decent arenas with my vigi guardian.

I don't mind this lower single dps in ranked... all i can't stand is low survivability. As you said, dmg reduction during stunn and i liked the auto crit after cc breaks. Just something ppl would regret after stunning juggs. Because now, nobody dying faster than jugg in stunn :X

Single target damage is a problem but not as big as survivability is. Also Pooled Hatred needs fixing.
single target it's lower, but vigi is now more DOT class than before when we had the best single target options.
Now you aren't burster or tunneler. Your job is bring chaos into battlefield with dot spread.

And i think, this even shouldn't affect PvP at all... it driving me crazy when i got infected in wzs/arenas and this debuff stunning me in fight. And i don't like to have cure stims in my backpacks :X

I believe we are getting a small damage boost coming with the upcoming class changes/re-balancing.
Yea, dmg isn't problem. Survivability is the problem for vigi/veng juggs.

Relax, just transfer your char to The Red Eclypse like everyone from ToFN. It cost only 90 CC per character x)

Hey Im on the Ebon Hawk and I cant seem to get a good ranked pvp pop. This is really frustrating for me because I want to get the ranked tokens and get a decent rating. Ive been queueing during the weekend nights but i havent gotten a pop thne either.
When are the best times to queue? And what are the best strats to get ranked popping?
Sadly it's not the problem only on Ebon Hawk... TRE has the same problem. Even if you joining in a prime time sometimes you waiting more than 15 minute for pop and nothing. It's sad

Btw... this post of yours is an excellent example of why no dev will post in the Pvp forum, if they did every whiner would come out of the wood work an demand their main advanced class be as strong mercs or "I'm unsubbing!" I don't blame the devs for not posting here. I wouldn't if I was one.
Yea sure, where i wrote i want jugg to be strong as merc or if not i'll unsubscribe? I'm just saying that devs don't care about pvp in this game and that is a fact. Lack of people in dev team or whatever... This game is simply focused on PVE - than PvP.

The problem here is that we can do nothing about it. Devs don't read pvp forums, they probably don't have a dev class testers/players. Because if they do, they would already did something about it. But... no.
From vanilla swtor i play only jugg Vigilance and i have to say juggs dmgers are going down in gameplay compared to other classes. Now ranked is nightmare when everyone targeting you just because you have purple symbol above you and you can do literally nothing to survive without healer. I'm really sick of it!

I thought that accuracy was not important for Guardian - or indeed any tank. However, my Level 70 Guardian has an accuracy rating of 111% - but all my gear is tank focused, none containing accuracy at all. I'm confused!
I've tried respeccing and rebuilding but to no avail.
Possibly related - all gear drops for me in story line and Heroic 2+ have been DPS gear. (Rather unhelpful!) Command token stuff however has been for my tank discipline.
Any ideas or advice gratefully received.

When Illum died, Outlaws den was only one place to sometimes kill someone. But nowadays there isn't such a place for world pvp.

What do you expect, when OP classes will appear in game after major patch... everyone rolls them. They just want easy profit. That's how it was, how it is and how it will be.

REAL PvP doesn't start until BiS. So PvPers now will just avoid warzones and do everything else except, until BiS, then welcome back.
REAL PvP players don't need the best gear to kicking asses in wzs/arenas.

The Main reason Command System was added and the universally hated RNG grind system is because this game's end game was starting to feel inexistent. I mean the developer team didnt really make any new PVP maps new OPS or anything that would be keep you interested past level 65 or 70 in 5.0.
So basically they made a system that would keep you "Interested" after you hit your level cap. Let's face it, there wasn't much to do after level 65 in 4.0 so we rotted on the fleet and did nothing but those same old OPS HM fps and so so on.
Now they took our old gearing system away and added a new one which relies on endless endgame grind and RNG... to gear up especially for PVP-ers who once hit 70 are now busy crazy queing for warzones to get geared up.
When people barely hit full 242 levels, they came up with a new Tier of gear, 248, to make us grind more.
I still remember that "there is no endgame" threads in 4.0. Well, now they made sure that there is.

If you think sorcs are fine now, I encourage you to roll up a sorc/sage and que for ranked PVP. As it stands, DPS Sorcs are not viable for ranked PVP.
With that said, I don't want sorcs to be overpowered. The classes should be balanced. Assuming the same gear, a Lightning Sorc vs Arsenal Merc should be a close fight, not an execution. We all pay the same subscription fees.
Class is fine... problem is that few classes everyone know which i am talking about are just too strong. At least you have pretty good escaping mechanics and you can kite better than operatives.

How many tier 4 items have you upgraded yourself? How many have you recieved from crates? How many T4 crates have you opened so far?
i bought weapon, focus, chest and waist for U. parts and from crate i received head, boots and ear.... i don't count how many crates i opened but i think every 10 +/- crates contain legendary piece of gear.
And i opened a lot of crates considering that everytime i win GSF i usually have one crate ready in my inventory. And yes i'm a pretty succesfull in winning.
But as i said, i don't care if legendary item drops me in 10 crates or in 20....

Dude, you haven't even gotten to the same place as the people you are condescending to. If you are suggesting that we all need to just work a little harder and be patient, you can't possibly understand how naive and silly you sound to those of us that have put hundreds of hours into grinding PvP for UC to upgrade gear.
I have upgraded five pieces to 248 via UC, three from 242, two from 230 all the way up. I have spent around 2000 UC doing this. I have done this because the 248 RNG rates are so bad.
I did this at a rate of 8 UC per warzone win, 3 per loss. Each WZ takes 10-15 minutes, with a few minutes between pops.
Do the math. And that's on *top* of grinding our way to the Tier 4 Disintegration Crates, which have abysmal drop rates for 248.
Do you see now why people who imply that PvPers complaining about CXP desire instant gratification seem like such utter condescending naive fools to some of us?
i know it's slow proces.. i playing GSF and pvp only and i really don't mind how long it takes to have my top gear.
That's the problem. You just complaining about time for getting gear... nothing else.

Well I just like to point out having alts use to be encouraged that's how you were suppose to learn other classes strengths and weakness. This system makes it extremely hard to gear them so it would seem to me that's a valid reason to be complaining!
and try 5-8 months for some casual players. You know the guy/gal working two jobs, or raising a family who maybe get's on for a couple hours a night. We can't all be like you kid and devote 8 hours a day because your living off mommy and daddy.
I'm actually hard working person but i don't see where are you pointing with it.... My point is, that people who complaining about this system are not patient, hurry hurry give me my top gear within two weeks. I don't really care about gear. I play game cause i like it (only pvp) and you can now have only one gear for pvp and pve which is great.
You know... i don't have a time for more than one character to play (because as i said, i really don't living with my mom and have a job and other things to do) so i play only one character and as i said i really don't mind slower gearing.
And by the way, you don't have to play other characters to know what spells they have and what they should do... simply play pvp and you will learn as i do.

People who complaining about CXP are those who has thousands of alts or those who just want the best gear instantly. I don't mind if i get my gear in 10 or 100 days.

So I get little dps bc more than half my gcds are spent rolling and utilizing defensives. Thats boring as **** to me. Group ranked, i enjoy. But solo is meh to me

Cheer up, all you can do is practice. More you can play GSF more experience you gain. Try to focus on one ship and master it. It takes time but you will see improve x)
