I've been having the same damn problem since the last patch, just like you. I've re-installed my entire system and the issue is still there. Grr... I'm hoping tomorrows major patch will fix it.

Hi,
Since last friday that I have this problem, huge problem tbh, my game disconnects like every 15 min of gameplay, and its not my internet problem, or computer problem, because when I play WoW, or Lotro theres no problem at all.
This problem first began with 5.9 patch, getting disconnects once a day, 10 min after I logged in, but since friday its just ridiculous, I can't go to ranked matches (lost 4 matches 'cause of that), I can't go to ops because I disconnect 5-6 times during the operation.
Anyone else with this issue? Whats the problem? An how can I fix it?
Or its just this game thats turning into real trash?

Everyone on this thread probably feels sorry for the terrible PVPer.
I think a PvPer is a kind of player dedicated only to PvP.
Dunno if theres one of those here, unless you are one of those players.

Dear Eric musco and the rest of the Devs;
I am really bad at PVP, what that means is I cannot kill anybody because you made a change that everyone else seems to have adapted to except me. In the future, please talk to me about these changes first to make sure i can handle them. If i cannot deal with the changes then this game is just not going to succeed!!! Capisce?

I hope you do, to see the big, huge, well... Gonna use "mistake" so I won't be banned, that you and your friends did with the new patch regarding PvP?
I mean, cross factions is kinda nice because you brought life to rep side, but regarding matchmaking you only got things worse, how is that even possible? But you did.
Word of advice, start playing the game and pay atention to what the players say about the game.

With expertise around, noobs who went into PVP got crashed even worse than they are now. The only practical differnce since PVP lost expertise is that people who play both PVE and PVP don't have to completely gear twice just not to completely suck (accuracy is not that good in PVP, but at least you don't take 150% damage and don't deal only 65%...). There is no connetion at all between the removal of expertise and the decline in player skill or dedication to victory. It is just the mentality of number farming that took root that is responsible for the situation.
Do u really think that what u said is real, or u just wanna believe that?
Just go and do some wz's and see with ur own eyes.

Ever since u, selfcalled "devs" took it out wz's got really really bad, unballenced, all the bads going for pvp.
Before u, selfcalled "devs" took expertise out from PvP, ppl actually cared about playing PvP and they were forced to earn the comms to buy the gear and so the ones that are dedicated to PvP felt like they were really playing for something, and the oned that didn't carre about PvP at all got what they deserved. But now we are forced to play with randoms that don't care about PvP and ruin our game just because they want some comp, or whatever.
PvP became a joke and its all ur fault.
If u, selfcalled "devs" don't like to play the game, then, listen to the community and let us play, unnistead acting like some politians that just think about themselfs.

After playing since launch I just got tired of pvp, Eric Musco and his buddies, the self called "devs" gave us but crap all this years regarding pvp. Its a pain to do regs, no skilled players, a lot of premade teams, unballenced groups sometimes a group with 2-3 healers and the other one with none, theres no respect for the players that just wanna chill in pvp a little bit, and I guess pl just start insulting each other because of frustration, imagine queue once, twice, three, four and lose, lose, then rage quit, this happens all the time on TRE, and I can't blame players that do that, I just can't, because I know the feeling.
These days when I play (not that often now), I queue for regs (stopped ranked last season) and it makes me wanna cry with the amount of crap we endure while playing, ppl insulting each other, wouldn't be best if the self called "devs" and the "genious" Eric Musco cared a little bit more for the players that just want to play a bit of pvp and have fun? Just ballance the wz's, how hard can it be?? Well.. probably for Eric and his buddies must be a pain in the bottom, maybe is time for ea to get new devs if u want to save the game.

Hey folks,
One of the things we talked a bit about on the stream is that there are gearing changes happening with Knights of the Eternal Throne. This thread is meant to give you a few more details on some of the things that will be happening in KOTET, along with being a place that I can address questions or concerns you have with these changes. First, here are the details on how gearing will work at level 70:
- Once you hit level 70, the source of end-game gear will be Command Crates from Galactic Command.
- Most activities in the game will earn Command Experience Points (CXP), which will earn you Command Ranks. Each time your Command Rank increases, you earn a Command Crate.
- The higher your Command Rank, the better gear that will drop from your Command Crates.
- The highest difficulty Operations and Uprisings, along with Ranked Warzones are intended to be the fastest ways to earn CXP. This means they are the fastest way to get the best gear.
- Both PvP and PvE gear will come from Command Crates. Their gear is now shared as Expertise is being removed (head to this thread to discuss PvP/PvE itemization specifically).
- Gear will no longer drop from bosses as all gear will come from Command Crates. All cosmetic/unique drops will still remain on those bosses (Stronghold Decorations, Wings of the Architect, etc.).
- Players will be able to craft comparable item level gear without set bonuses.
That should cover most of the basic changes coming to itemization in KOTET. I know this is a lot to take in, so please ask any questions you may have in this thread and I will work to answer what I can!

In the latest podcast on Twitch, the DEV's said that after the launch of KOTET they will focus more on group content (between the lines I read that there will be new ops and or pvp)
Y.. remember what they said after lauching 4.0? They considered that crap eternal championship as "group content"... lol
How idiot is that?
And for pvp they launched Odessen Providing Grounds wz and Rishi Cove arena.. Common.. Odessen is a total bs for those that enjoy pvp and Rishi Cove arena.. eh.. just an arena that was bugged for some weeks.
They (the dev's), only care about selling cartel packs, thats the way the make money, cause they have no ideas for the gameplay itself.. Its just sad.. this game died on 3.0..

No new operations, no new pvp maps, you have no new group content at all to give us. Its gonna be a fiasco as 4.0 was.
Continue this path, only worried with cartel market packs and swtor will be dead within a year.

It's fine to dislike the game...there are plenty of MMOs I'll never touch (W0W being a big one), but I've never quit a game and declared it a joke the same day...that's just silly.

It might be somehow silliy, but its just my opinion towards the game atm.
This game lost quality, that everyone agrees upon.
Bioware and EA know that people are leaving due to poor pve content with the new expansion (no new ops) and due to awefull pvp where the teams are so unbalanced that doesn't make sense to even queue solo for a match.
The only thing Bioware and EA care about is making money selling trash in cartel packs..
In one year or less this game will be dead.

i've played Wow since 2004 , untill they destroy it in LK and then , Cataclysm etc.. , nowadays it's more a Facebook appli than a game with a monthly sub you need to pay or you don't play!
I /quit, leaving without any regrets my 11 garrisons , all my drakes, Terragosa and so on, which i can't use if i don't spend 3 month for a metaHF which allow me to fly, skill i've bought in BC remember? all DJ are dumb and only the mythic raids are somehow difficult and even.. when you've spent 6/7 in SSC/BT or BMH, Sunwell.....

Disconnection update.
After almost a week, 2 tickets to bioware, game reinstalled, everything checked and the problem is still here, now my game disconnects after 5 minutes I logged.
I guess I'll just stop playing this game after my sub runs out in 2 months.
