  1. I am an active level 34 Sith Assassin and I'm looking to join a big 400+ guild, and I've seen one being advertised in chat but I was really busy and I lost it :(

Mature constructive answers only please, only post if you know of a big guild with 400+ members.

Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated.

    Please and thank you.

  2. Just a friendly heads up.... Most (if not all) social, active guilds, use some sort of voice client both to coordinate in raids, and generally to talk/socialize amongst it's members.

Any guild you join, not feeling comfortable using voice chat, no matter what you do, you will most likely always feel like an outsider in the guild.

You can pick up a cheap headset at any retail store like Best Buy, or Radio Shack, or Microcenter, Fry's, Target, Wal-Mart.... a basic headset can be had in the $10-$20 range, and you'd be very surprised at how much your enjoyment of the game increases, just by having fellow players/guildmates there to listen to and talk to.

If you're a non-native english speaker (english as a second language) it's been my experience with just about everyone I have gamed with, that everyone is equal regardless of accent or grammatical correctness, and no one has any reason to be shy.

Just my 2 credits for you. Good luck in your guild hunt.

I'm an English speaking American, I guess I'm just shy but I can't help it, I'm social on text chat though....

  3. Voice client is free. The server is paid by me so the guild can use it. It's not really an interview, more like an introduction for a more personal invite to show that we aren't just looking to have guild numbers with no active people. Hope that helps.

My computer doesn't have any microphones and I don't have a headset, and I don't feel comfortable using voice chat, if this is going to be a problem and is a requirement then I'm afraid I can't join, I use regular text chat.

  4. Rancor Bait would love to have you! We are not small and growing. We have many active and fun players to hang out with. We use ventrillo voice chat and have a websitehttp://www.rancorbait.enjin.com. I will try and find you online tonight to talk more. :D

I was looking at your website in the recruitment section, is a interview really necessary? And I don't have any VOIP or voice software and I'm not paying for it, I already pay for SWTOR.

Can you take me through your recruitment practices? Interview just seems like overkill to me.

  5. I'm looking to join a fun and popular guild for my Empire character, my character name is Ashwsonynn and it's level 21 Sith Assassin (Damage dealer) on Jedi Covenant server. I'm very active everyday and social. No small guilds please, I want to join a guild that's fun and active and that is very popular and has a lot of members.
  6. It's really not as simple as buying a cartel pack and then making a "big number of credits" since different items kind of go for different values. Do a little research into what the more common crafting materials are as well as what rare drops you can get in the packs and look at how much they go for on the GTN. It's still a lottery scenario, but in all likelihood you'll at least get some credits out of the ordeal. It's just a matter of how much you are expecting and if it's worth it to you to try.

    Thanks.

  7. I'm a subscriber and the character I'm currently playing is level 21, I always find myself with a lack of credits, I use credits for everything and I barely get by, sure you earn credits through quests warzones and flashpoints but I don't ever get much credits, I want to buy credits through the Cartel Market, it would make my game experience more enjoyable. I would seriously pay $60.00 for five hundred thousand credits.

And a credit lottery would be a good idea too, some MMORPGs do this (SUN) and I think SWTOR should too, I'd be glued to my screen for months if I had one million credits to play around with. I just want ways to get a large sum of credits for buying stuff in the galactic market.

  8. We're more likely to be able to get access to the planet Manaan. It's the source of Kolto which acts as the main healing resource, and has been introduced before. And it's just like Kamino except we know this planet exists, it holds a large ecosystem we could interact with, and is much more populated.

Kamino was in the movies, Manaan was not. I've never even heard of Manaan before, if it was in Galaxies then I'm afraid I don't remember.

  9. I have extreme depression, I've had it for a long time even when I was a really young teenager (I'm almost 20 now), I'm new to this game and I'm a subscriber, I really enjoy playing SWTOR the depression goes away every time I play it.

I can't thank the Bioware team enough for creating something that not only I enjoy but improves my mental health.

  10. I really want to see the planet from Star Wars Episode II Kamino, I just think this is the coolest planet, it's the waterworld planet. There could be huge underwater cities and areas and you could venture out into the water with some kind of submarine, and I want to see lots of on the water platform cities like we saw in Episode II, we could travel on the water via a boat, and rain it has to rain all of the time.

And I also have an idea for a PVP warzone, on the water naval battles, two teams must compete in skirmish and get the highest score to win.
