  1. We currently have a group of 4 players returning to Swtor for 6.0. We currently are configured as 2 tanks and 2 healers. We are currently looking for 4 dps to fill out our raid group on Imperial side. We will be running 9:00pm - 11:00pm EST Fri/Sat. We have extensive previous experience with HM/NiM content. We would classify ourselves as a true medi-core group. We are simply good players who want to challenge ourselves on difficult content and have a good time doing it. We don't expect world best dpsers; however, we expect you to know how to play your class. If you happen to be low on dps you will get time to get better. As long as you are showing improvement and working on rotations and are open to that, we don't mind waiting for that improvement to come.

If this interests you, please leave a message on our discord in the general area and I will be in touch.

  2. Seasoned raider that can heal or dps at a high level is seeking a raid group that runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays around 6:00 to 10:30ish. Current raid groups in guild are packed or do not run at times that work for me so I'm looking to branch a bit and create new relationships with new groups. 9/10 Last cycle 8/10 Nim power buff the cycle prior. Looking for fair loot rules, raids that start and end on time, and a group of people committed to improving their play. Not looking to raid more than 2 nights per week on this old content, don't want to burn myself out but also want to have ample time to form a cohesive bond with a team so that we can be dressed and ready for the next ops whenever they happen to come out. Not looking to starchase
  3. I do not know of any conquest guild that is also an upper tier raid guild on this server (10/10). I know that you can probably find conquest guilds that have medium quality raid teams(8/10) if that is your cup of tea. Also, you are looking for "very" active on Friday and Saturday nights when people are out partying or hanging out with real life friends. It will be a challenge. Based on what I've read, I think you are probably looking for a conquest guild although your title is misleading on what you are actually looking for. Easiest solution is to look at who is number 1 on different planets of the next two weeks and then try to find someone in that guild online and have them direct you to their guild leader.

I've just spent the last couple hours perusing guild websites and forum posts, reddit threads, etc. trying to find a guild were I could make a serious contribution and with whom I have shared interests/tastes - but sadly to no avail. I think that's just because the ones I'm looking for are, of course, hiding! Haha

Let me start by sharing what I can bring to the team.

    - Subscriber

    - Located on the U.S. East coast.

    - Very active, normally 2-6hrs per day playing. Especially Friday/Saturday nights.

    - The team concept is important to me and I do my best to pull my weight and learn.

    - I started playing when the game was first released but went on hiatus for a while. I'm back indefinitely and loving it!

    - I am a perfectionist and want to be the very best healer/team member possible.

    - I understand the intent and usefulness of TS3, Mumble, Raidcall, etc. and don't mind participating.

    - I'm an adult, dislike drama, appreciate respect and offer the same, and believe real life is the priority.

Now, on to what I am looking for in a guild. I'll describe the ideal guild I would like to find and if you're it or very close then please contact me (or if you can recommend one, thank you). Please, if your guild isn't a match thank you but I'll pass. Here's the minimum traits I'm searching for:

    - Daily Ops/Raids

    - Flashpoints

    - Guild Flagship

    - Respectful Environment

    - A guild name that's not offensive.

    - Shared bank for contributing members.

    - Serious conquest efforts to place top-ten.

    - No forum activity required, I prefer to focus in the game.

    - Help learning and perfecting skills (I am still learning the finer details).

    - Average 10+ members on at any given time, that are willing to team up.

    - Friendly group of serious professionals that know what to do but also know when to relax.

Thank you for your time in reading this and I know it'll be hard to find a guild that meets the criteria above but it'll be worth the search/wait. I will post when I have found such a guild so if I haven't (posted) then feel free to contact me!

  4. There will be a lot of flux as 4.0 comes in. That will probably be the best time for you to take a look at us and figure out of any of our current groups are right for you. Guild atmosphere as well. You should also visit and register for our website Wookie Rage Website which we try to utilize for events so people know what things are going on.

Hey guys, I'm a returning veteran player that took a break starting right when Revan dropped. I was a progression raider for quite awhile clearing HM DF/DP when it was current and working on NiM but had alot of school/work stuff popping up and kinda was burned out anyway. So just looking for a decently active guild, I've got pub and imp toons. Saw this thread and thought I'd see what's up.

    Tra'jian - Healy Op

    Mac'miller - Vengeance Jugg

    Boom'shacalaca - Merc (All 3 specs)

  5. How about in the future you don't come off as a pompous know-it-all? I know full well how to play, thus the frustration. It's why I left GSF in the first place. I want to like it more. It still hasn't been fixed. If you don't like my opinion state as much. My opinion isn't any less valid than your opinion of the state of GSF. That's not what this game is.... that's the entire point. I'm telling you what I think it should be. One-shotting mechanics in PVP are dumb. If I wanted to play a FPS where you just worry about sniping that's what I'd do. Aerial flight sims are about dog fights, not one shots. You like one-shot stuff cool. I disagree with that's how this particular game mode should be.

It would be like a sniper with an extended 35M range being able to one-shot a gap closing Jugg. You don't think if that was in regular PVP there would be a QQ storm? I'm not going to assume you love gunships either because I don't know you, don't know how good you are, or anything to that nature. That would be pretentious on my part. I just think its still broken. Nothing more, nothing less.

You must be new to GSF. First of all, welcome to the game. It has a lot of depth and it's really a lot of fun once you learn how to play. Regarding your question:

You might want to check the guide that's from. In the future, rather than posting threads to whine about something because you don't understand what's going on, you might try asking for help instead. Most of us would be happy to help you learn how to play, but we see a lot of baseless whining about how overpowered one of the three viable ship classes is.

Now, are you interested in learning something, or are you only here to complain about something you don't actually understand in the first place? And I'm not trying to insult you in saying that, by the way. Your mention of dogfighting makes it clear that you don't understand the game mode very well. At no point should you be involved in an extended circle war with anyone. That's not what this game is.

  6. We are going to be doing 16-man brontes tonight and are looking for a couple of good DPS to potentially help fill out the group because we are looking a little slim tonight. We will be forming at 8:50 eastern. This will be imperial side. Please post the name of the character you could potentially be bringing and your current level of progression on TOS/RAV. Thanks.
