  1. Echoes of Oblivion.... the final fight was a travesty. For some reason i could not target the entities near the vases so i need to spam aoe on a deception sin, which made me use all force power and wait for it to restore, zero .....

The fight is just an excess of lightning everywhere. The companions run amok killing whatever they see. Difficulty = Z-E-R-O. expected more than this, but that was just happy thinking .... revan intervention was lol, marr ability spam was meh as well, with so much stuff happening i wasn't even bothered trying to understand who was casting what or where.

Not sure if intended but thexan and arkan at a point just stayed lie down, was trying to read the abilities but well i was constantly getting overwhelmed with the damn lightining and other effects so that fight looked more like a teenage rave than a fight itself. Compare to the revan fight from 3.0. simpler, effective and more entertaining.

The story itself is mediocre at best. There is no meaningful dialogue between revan and scourge. I'll give you that scourge's remark about his space and the the ship is huge was funny, everything else was just plain boring.

The flahspoint was nice, although a lot of ppl complained that they took to long to kill anything. Well this is what we get from ppl being care taked for years, 4.0 and 5.0 where the main stories were turned down to a 1 or 2 hits and more enemies dying quicker than you could enjoy the fight. Regarding the flashpoint i see no issue, apart from the quantity of adds, but that is not a major issue, otherwise the fp would be really empty, so i would stick with the adds as they are.

It is a shame we cant' keep the mandalorian companion.

One big issue with the flashpoint is just the last boss dropping one decoration, while we do it on story mode. i didn't try veteran or hard mode at first cause a lot of my guildies told me that *** would bug and that there were bugs preventing them from progressing either from skipping cutscenes or other issues.

Took Bioware over 1 year to deliver this. In terms of quantity it is sad that in one year this is all they can come up with.... but ppl have come to accept this as a result of their small team....

The daily reward table is a fat joke, 5 mastery stims that gives 8+ mastery and 3 k credits, geez thanks for nothing .... Only good reward there is the certificates, that you already have enough or you can easily get, even if you are f2p. just join a guild that has a slot machine and in 4 weeks you will, most likely, get more than 4 certificates..

Lets see how the great year of 2021 that the ppl at Bioware advertised will be... most likely Malgus coming back to Ossus, doing some crap, getting rid off his mental conditioning. Major Anri becoming or not a companion and we dealing with the new story line of the mandalorians. Kinda sad that bioware only realized now that they could make more than one thing at a time in terms of story line and not focusing in a trainwreck that was 4.0 and 5.0 and everything related. Guess akavi spar or wtv her name is will return with this story bit.

In terms of story writting this was what we could expect, plain normal. Since the ppl at Bioware completely trashed the emperor he is just another punching bag now. Lets see if he doesn t return in the future, since the first son is still alive, cause it was said several times he wouldn't return, but he did, so my trust is downright to zero regarding this.

  2. 20$ MINUMUM + A SUBSCRIPTION so that they gain enough revenue to keep the game online and keep producing content. 6.0 is great and honestly has changed the direction of this game, the key now are consistent updates and way less content droughts. Hopefully we will see another expansion next year.

Lol 20 dollars for this crap work? Mate the only reason they have a job is simple, this is the only star wars the game out there that is a mmo.

Here are a few things thta makes onslaught stupid if:

    a) your choices have no impact in the other faction, since if you play a rep character it will undo all that you ve done with an imp character

    b) story was to short and really average, not that great;

    c) they realised that killing Vitiate was a stupid thing and are bringing him again, in some way or another he will be back down the line

    d) new planets have no planetary story, just random and generic missions to kill X trash units

    e) they offered 1 flashpoint and one raid with 6.0. They charged 15 euros for revan expansion and it gave players 2 new flashpoints and 2 raids. So yeah, just cause you like to throw money to the street and to bad companies other ppl don't see it like that

    f) the new crafting system is expensive as hell and crafting is a waste of resources if you want to gear that way, since farming hammer station and Red reaper gives you faste rgear in a few hours

    g) they haven't released any content for space pve since the game was launched. Space pvp has not seen any new maps since iokath, and barely anyone plays it becase it will consist of ne team with full sniper ships, which pretty much tells you to sod off cause you can't reach them

    h) no new personal class missions since 3.0, and even then only a few were interesting, but had no connection to whatever happened after ziost....

    i) overall onslaught was a bad expansion with the only good point being going back to its roots. And now we have to wait till december to see the where the imp faction has gone, since near the enrance to the meridian complex is already the new entrance for the next flashpoint.

So yeah, more reasons could be added why charging for an expansion is a stupid reason. Besides they already charged for the expansion telling ppl needed to be subbed for it.

When Bioware announces new music as relevant stuff for the expansion you see just how bad their work has been since 5.0. This game has received less content now than 4.0 and 5.0 released .....

  3. Anyone else dreading this patch? It’s weird that they’d make such drastic changes at this point in the life of the game. I’m flummoxed as to who was asking for gearing to become infinitely more complex, and tied back onto rng. I still regularly see (saw I reckon now) folks not even spec’d to 248, but here we are skipping ahead to something that no one really knows will work. Test center, it felt like they were showing us about 40% of what’s about to change. All of the crafting mats and items that are currently for sale on the gtn, are gonna become worthless. Is anyone even remotely ready for all of this? Why is there no trailer for this expansion, to drum up excitement? Coupled with previous experience when EA has previously upended everything, I’m just hoping we have folks still playing in a month.

Good luck, to all of us!

Mate when they can't deliver a lot of content, and by content i mean story, ops, flashpoints and new areas they deliver insanes tiers of gear. If you compare what we tried on the pts and the amount of gear that is new to the game they invested a hell more on gear than anything else.

  4. Hey folks,

This is going to be a fairly lengthy post, so strap in. We really appreciate all of the feedback you have shared with us about loot acquisition. The majority of it has been highly detailed and very constructive so keep that coming! We mean what we said at the start of this process, we want to get everything on PTS and in your hands so that we can get your feedback and ensure that we have the time to make the necessary changes. Today’s set of changes may not cover everything or get it to perfection just yet, but we hope that you see it as a step in the right direction.

This thread’s format will cover a topic, the feedback we are hearing from you, and then what we are (or aren’t) changing, and why! Let’s dive in…

TLDR - Based on your feedback we are increasing loot drops, giving more mods and moddable gear, increasing tech fragments earned, and increasing the likelihood of side-grades and upgrades on drops.

The Quantity of Item Ratings / Tiers

We have seen concerns about the total number of item ratings that there are from the start of the expansion to best-in-slot. Although the quantity is high, that is not where the focus should ultimately lie. Our intention here is simple: you should be able to go from the start of level cap to max item rating fairly quickly. The goal is to make sure the speed of progression feels rapid and constant, regardless of the item ratings you need to go through to get there.

For now, we are not making any changes directly to the amount of item ratings, but we expect that due to the other changes we are making below you will find yourself progressing quicker than you did at the start of Phase 2.

    Progression Through Item Ratings

Since the system now looks at your current item rating when determining loot drops, this is creating a friction point where you may be getting held back by one piece of gear. Ex: You are wearing full 270 except for one or two pieces which brings your avg iRating below that to 268. This situation will cause a lot of the gear that drops to be 270 instead of something higher, meaning a lot of drops aren’t actually upgrades.

We agree this can be a frustrating experience and so we are addressing this in two ways. We are adjusting the item ratings that can be dropped in some content so that you are more likely to get a side-grade or upgrade than you did previously. We also agree that you’re not getting enough loot to begin with, so we’re going to be increasing the number of drops you get from all content (so more chances for upgrades and more tech fragments).

    Non-moddable items

We have seen a number of concerns around the amount of items that are dropping that are both non-moddable and/or do not contain mods. Since many players rely on mods for their current gearing we are making a few changes here.

In the short term we are making three changes. Moddable gear can already drop but it is pretty rare overall. We are increasing the drop rate for that gear across the board. Second, we are greatly increasing the frequency of mods dropping and the quantity that you will receive over time. Third, random mods can now be purchased from the random Tech Fragment vendor.

One additional change we are looking into (not in this build) is to convert more of the expansion gear to be moddable instead of the static gear it is today.

Higher Difficulty Content Not Rewarding Enough

That feedback is pretty self-explanatory so no need for extra detail here. We are making two changes to address this. First, as mentioned above, we are going to start dropping more gear across the board. Second, we are going to make sure there is a larger difference in the number of drops between the difficulties so that running Veteran, for example, feels more rewarding than Story.

Too Many Drops Not for Me!

In general we are seeing a lot of feedback that there is too much gear that is not dropping specifically for you. For example, you may feel like you’re seeing more tank drops than you would like to given that you are playing DPS. Or that the group drop at the end of your Flashpoint dropped for a Powertech and you were a group of four Sorcerers.

Some of this was intentional. In a system that can only look at exactly what you are playing we had concerns that it may really limit a players ability to gear for an alt. To alleviate that we set a % of all your personal loot drops that should not be tailored to your spec; while non-personal group drops don’t take the group composition into account at all. From your feedback, it sounds like we leaned too far in that direction…

Two changes for this PTS update. First, we have increased the % of personal items that are tailored to your character. You can still get items that are not for you as we do want some amount of items available for alts, but that % is quite a bit lower now. Second, the group loot drops will now look at your base class to determine what drops. This may mean you won’t get something for your currently assigned spec, but it will be relevant for someone in the group.

    Kai Zykken Vendor

Some of the concerns we are seeing is that the Tech Fragment cost is too high, a desire to have expanded inventory to include left side gear and weapons, more items in general, or even a static inventory for purchase. Our intention is that Kai is meant exclusively as a supplementary system. If you feel like you need to look to Kai as a primary mechanism to get gear then we believe there are clear problems we need to work out in the rest of Spoils of War. That said, we are absolutely exploring a number of the great suggestions we have seen for Kai improvements.

For now, we are going to hold off on any changes to him. We want to see how he feels in a world where the rest of the system is being more generous with more loot drops, more Tech Fragments, and better odds at upgrades. We will keep monitoring though and may still make changes to Kai in a future PTS update so keep the feedback coming.

Random Tech Fragment Gear Vendors / Renown Crates

A lot of the feedback here was pretty similar to Kai (and our response is similar as well). However, one additional thing that was raised is that too often you would buy an item from the vendor only for it to not even be for you. We have greatly increased the likelihood that an item purchased from the vendor will be tailored to you. Also, as mentioned above, this vendor now has a much better chance of any item purchased from it being a side-grade or upgrade instead of being below your item rating (Renown is receiving this same update as well).

    Amplifiers

We are hearing concerns around the randomness of the system and its cost being prohibitive. One clarification is that part of the design assumes that you may not get one single item and hold onto it forever (if you care about amps). Ex: if you get the set chest that you want, we would expect you spend some time and credits to reroll the amp until you feel it becomes too expensive. The system is going to give you a tremendous amount of loot over time which can likely include another copy of that same chest. That would give you a “reset” ability to roll amplifiers if you chose.

We do hear these concerns though and so we are going to monitor them along with the other changes we are making as we are completely open to making changes to all things Amplifiers. Keep in mind that amplifiers are also still working on being fully implemented and so we want to ensure that is the case before we make too many substantial changes.

    PvP Rewards

We are increasing the rewards earned from playing PvP, details will be posted in the PvP Rewards feedback thread.

That should cover most or all of the changes coming in this next PTS patch. We hope that this shows our willingness to make changes to the system as a whole and your feedback is instrumental in getting us to the best place it can be! Stick with us on PTS and keep your feedback coming. Keep in mind that this in no way a comprehensive list of everything we are exploring. We know there are a number of changes we can make beyond what is listed above that we are actively exploring, just not for this PTS build.

Look for this PTS patch tomorrow or Friday. I will let you know when it is live.

    Thanks!

PS - In "patch note" form

    • You are now more likely to receive a side-grade or upgrade from Renown Crates and the Tech Fragment vendor.
    • Increase the number of loot drops received.
    • Players should see an increase in Tech Fragments earned overall.
    • Increased the chances of receiving mods from loot drops.
    • Increased the overall quantity of mods that drop.
    • Higher chance to get rare, moddable gear.
    • Random mods can now be purchased from the random Tech Fragment vendor.
    • Players will notice a larger quantity of loot at higher difficulties.
    • Personal loot now has a higher chance to drop for your current character.
    • Group loot will now take the current group composition into account.
    • Added completion rewards for winning an Unranked Warzone and playing Solo/Group Ranked.
    • Increased the Renown and Tech Fragments earned from completing a Warzone.

So let me see if i get this right, probably i m just confused since "the thrill of the hunt" was to much for me during a black period of this game. We, the players, ask for less rng, right? guess so, cause ppl are complaining. So Bioware adds amplifiers, something i never understood the point, since i had to waste a good deal of money to have what i want instead of paying like 200 k or whatever, to get the amplifier i desire. When Bioware says they will understand palyers and follow feedback what happened to NOT GIVING MORE RNG TO THIS GAME ????

From what i see and tested on the pts ( and matt i ve to say you are probbaly the reason i keep playing it since your operations are cool. A few days you were runing next to me on the pts and i ve saw you and greeted you :D ).

What i feel is that 6.0 is going to be lacklusting because there is not enough content. One raid, one flashpoint and story that will be over in 2 hours, if we take the runing around. The daily missions will be generic, so far i don't see a point on spending much time on onderon since there isn't much to do there....

Last expansion was in what, 2016 ? and 3 years later this si what we get, one asteroid (probably as big as section X) a planet that is smaller than rishi and one raid that is currently bugged so we can't progress. Well.... ah taking our vanila companions and adding them again is not new content, lets just clear that out ....And lets be honest here, since no dev will admit it, it has been a travesty what has happened with companions, taking almost 4 years to deliver all fo them and the ones that returned after the events of zakuul (god bless that is over) were rushed and brought in a ridiculous way......

  5. Holy ****.

    This system is insane.

So, I figured I'd do a quick write-up here to help PTS peoples test this system out.

    Testing Amplifiers

So to access Amps, buy a new piece of gear (since Amps aren't functional on gear bought prior to this week's patch), then you should see them when you go to modify the gear. You will see Amps located under each modification. So the Shell, Armouring, Mod and Enhancement all have an Amp.

EDIT: Amps are also located implants, earpiece and relics. However, you can only see them via the augment table.

Note, the tooltips can be buggy. If you notice an Amp not showing the correct tooltip, close the Field Modification and Recalibrate windows and open them again and it should show the correct tooltips. So every time you recalibrate an Amp, you have to exit out of the Recalibrate window and go back in for it to load the correct tooltips.

    Changing Amps + Costs

You can change the Amp by recalibrating it. All you have to do is click on the Amp to open the Recalibrate window. Then click on the Recalibrate button and you typically get a choice between two new Amps (sometimes it's mean and only gives you one). To change the Amp to a new one just click update next to the new AMp you like and it will change the Amp on your Mod to the new one!

You can recalibrate an Amp as many times as you like, but the cost goes up each time you do.

Recalibration Starting Cost = 20,000 Credits

The cost to recalibrate a mod goes up incrementally by roughly 1000 credits to start with then gradually goes up when you hit 100,000 Credits the increment is around 5000 credits. When you get up to 200,000 Credits the increment is around 8,000 Credits.

    Things to know

    - Different types of Amps will only show up on certain modifications. For example, the Life Stealing Amp is only on Enhancements.

    - The Amp is attached to the Modification. So if you get a really good Amp on an enhancement, for example, you can just move it around to any shell you like since mods are BoL.

    - The percentage that shows up next to the Amp is entirely random (RNG within RNG, yay! :p). The highest I've seen so far is 5% and the lowest I've seen is 0.10%.

At this stage I haven't really done any testing to see if they work or anything, I've just been trying to figure the different types since there are soooooo many!

(PLEASE DEVS YOU SEE THIS SEND ME A LIST OF ALL THE AMPS PLEASE AND THANK YOU)

Edit: Here's a pic of the UI for reference https://twitter.com/Rach_Games/status/1162534985837887491?s=20

Once I have a good list of the variety of Amps, I'll do a proper write-up on my website. :)

    :jawa_angel:

Hot to sum up the amplifiers in 20 words or less cause Saitama sensei is to busy: Bioware can't deliver enough content to keep players sub so they increase the grind to preposterous levels.

Here is to new quality content....

Not sure why even bother at thsi time. This is money spent on development that could have been used on different assets. The same with the new background music and the droid working in the background. Wasted assets that could have been used somewhere else. ( years into the game and they only changed that aspect now .... well if the game would be here for another 8 i think we would see our original companions inside our personal ship

  6. Who is leaving?

Edit: Ohhhhh Ben "RNG is exciting™" Irving is leaving BioWare. No loss there game-wise.

Looking at your posting history, you're kind of a tool. Why do you even play this game?

I enjoy it, eventhough the current devs damaged the game to a poitn beyond repair. Man we are all tools if we pay EA :rak_03:

  7. Hey folks,

    Pts is back online....

    (a few minutes later)

Hey folks pts is yet again offline.

    Later in September...

Hey folks, there are game breaking bugs, but don't worry you can keep playing our mess of a game since you should be used to it by now, it will get fixed, in a month or two, or whenever, cause if ti is friday we will resume work next week.

Must say that Bioware is a sinking boat, no wonder a certain ex-dev is leaving it right now x'D

  8. Mate if you are expecting a polsihed release might as well set the release of 6.0 for 2020, around september. Bioware normally takes around 8 months to balance their balance problems, just look at how long it took them to make mercs not 1 v 4 in ranked, around 4 to 8 months.... so yeah... Besides it will be a failure anyway. We have no input or can even try the new planets, i understand the story to not be available, but at least the planets and random missions so we can prevent issues like the meat tree, back when 3.0 was laucnhed, when flocks of ppl were standing next to it, or the issue with revan where ppl needed to rely on rng to actually complete the mission, had a guildy who had to fight that battle 48 times until rng was nice to him.... could go on, but don't think it is needed
  9. For all the QQing here about price and people saying Bioware shouldn’t offer it again, I think you all need to calm down and realise that Bioware have already decided to move ahead with giving, selling or offering the content again.

Nothing anyone says here is going to change the plans they already have in place.

What ever price it is or if it’s free or if there is a qualifier will be determined by Bioware and has probably already been decided.

If it’s free for subscribers there will be a lot of happy people who don’t already have it

If it costs too much, no one will buy it and it’s another wasted opportunity from Bioware.

If there is a qualifier and it’s reasonable to players, they will stay subbed to get it.

The only thing I want to know is what’s the time frame till it happens.i think that’s the only important question that we might get an answer about.

Lol, hey ppl i'm asking something from Bioware, but all you peasants should not ask 'cause the end result will be none. Not sure if you are one or working hard to become one lol .... This means your original poitn is pointless and you started a pointless thread...

  10. Lol, want to play those chapters then pay 120 euros for it, since that was what costed us to get it.

It was a matter of time until Bioware put that chapter on the Cartel Market, but if you scrubs want it then play 120 euros, or a bit more, since the game needs its whales.

Tbh Bioware shoudl not add them up, what is the point to give players unique things if they are going to be placed, on a later date on the Cartel Market. This is a result of, a) there is so few content that they have to use what they already have (this is the case with swtor, since the quality and quantity of content is lacklusting and horrible), b) option A si enough, not impressed with the horrible video about Onderon and Mek sha that was advertised by the team. Almost 3 years and this is what we can get. Paid 15 euros to get revan expansion when it was released, now i've to pay 12 (forcing players to be subs to get it) to get this "free expansion". My bet is without the walking and backtracking it will take roughly 2 hours to finish it

  11. PTS being available for download is a good sign as it means we are moving into the final stages of testing! Barring any issues, we will be going live with PTS early next week.

    -eric

Lol... When Eric said early next week what he actually means is there will be another download, he doesn't mean ti will be available for us to test it.... The same way it would be ready at the end of the previous month and we are 3 weeks after it and one week before this month's end....

I expect nothing and i'm still disappointed

  12. No one?

Ok another player who thinks he/she represents everyone else.

You should learn what an hyperbole and majestic we are in terms of writing. Yes, let me correct myself to thyself. We, the peasants, are aware that Bioware has been listening to our feedback since day one, hence that is the reason why for years, 2012-2014, Eric Musco and other Devs barely spoke in the official page, i.e., this one.

We, the player base, are quite fond and happy with the ludicrous adventure thaqt Kotfe and Kotet were. We could not expect better story telling, that was the peak of creation and we should be happy to endure it...

I'll just wait and grab some popcorn to see 6.0 fail hard and laugh with it:rak_03:

  13. Today we are happy to announce our next expansion - Star Wars: The Old Republic: Onslaught! The expansion will launch free for all subscribers this September. New planets, flashpoint, Operation, large itemization changes codenamed “The Spoils of War” and more will be featured in this expansion! You can learn all about Onslaught in our Expansion Announcement article, here.

In honor of our Celebration Cantina we are sharing with everyone a redeemable code: SWCELEBRATION19. Simply redeem that code on your account for a Celebration inspired character flair and four stronghold decorations.

    What is everyone excited for?

I'm excited for the PTS, oh wait at this time we should all say PTSD since that is what you have gave us over the years by not being able to keep your promisses. It was said that by late June (MUSCO) we would have access to PTS(D), but so far it will most likely be available in August, if that ever happens.

Using excited is not a term a good slice of swtor players feel when we have news from you ppl.... We are just happy you ppl don't screw over what has been being screwed over since 2014

  14. No one here has any faith or trust on what Bioware says these days, for me that was lost when they failed time after time to deliver what was promissed.

If, by a miracle, 6.0 is delivered on September, i forsee the following, miserable story with no logic conection to what we have been doing, since that has been the trend after Ziost, #nologic, and they will pull yet another weapon of mass destruction or bring Vitiate alive. Malgus is already a puppet, would use another word but the post would just be deleted...

The story so far has been miserable, sadly this is the only star wars mmo out there. I've seen mods for other steam star wars games that are far better than what ppl who are being paid deliver us here....

  15. Hey there,

Let me add some clarity to our PTS schedule and then I can let you know the current plan for getting hands-on with PTS. So, when we initially talked about when PTS would be available I don't think we framed it very well. When we stated June, we didn't necessarily mean playable in June, but that would we would be providing you with in-depth information where you could start providing feedback. Throughout the whole PTS process there are going to be two components:

    1. Giving you the details on the PTS forum so that you can provide your thoughts and feedback.
    2. Placing those same things as playable on PTS to get your hands-on feedback.

Obviously we are at step 1 of that process right now but we definitely understand that you are all very eager to get your hands on Onslaught. Tentatively, we are aiming to have the initial version of PTS up next week. This PTS will contain the information which we have revealed to you on the PTS forum up to this point, so, tacticals, set bonuses, and the new abilities of:

    • Sith Inquisitor
    • Sith Warrior
    • Sorcerer
    • Assassin
    • Juggernaut
    • Marauder

Keep in mind that next week is tentative and could change. We will have a blog to coincide with the launch of PTS to give you all of the details.

    Thanks!

Lol, hey folks john madden here to tell you how progress will be about 6.0 :

You know Bioware cracks some bad jokes when they give us ingo on something we shoudl test then come up wiht a lame excuse for why players are not testing it. This just seems and feels the same way as Bug Raid boss, when a dev told me on pts that the Colicoid was a placeholder and then we got a lame excuse as to why we have a colicoid as a geonosian queen...

&.0 will be the new 3.0. Took 3 months to fix the revan fight.... took them 4 weeks to fix the meat tree, took them another X weeks to fix issues with Underlurker and Yavin 4.... Grind.0 will be awesome. If i were Biowarer i would release the pts version a week before and then say "When we said september we actually meant after september...."

  16. Command renown will be another waste of time clicking to destroy stuff, here is why:

    a) as a sin player i keep getting rifles and barrels, they have no use to that character so i keep destroying.

    b) the items that are awarded are a joke, most are horrible cosmetic that probably onyl a small % of players like or even collect

    c) the amount of random crap gear + relics i get is enfuriating. I would like if we could get just items we need, or if we don't at least just give currency. If not at least give cosmetics that aren't absolute trash, if you actually cared about the player base you would give the players a chance of having nice cosmetics that are possible to get in game and not from the cartel market only (personally it doesn't affect me cause bioware broke the economy and allowed crafters to get millions and buy everything that is available on the CM, not even trying i can get easily 50-100 million a week and i m not like a certain someone that spams 24/7 on the Red Eclipse server that he is selling 240 augments or buying charged matters)

Those new items i forgot the name that are going to be introduced with 6.0 is just another layer of grinding that is rather useless... Most players are bad as they are with 258 gear, not being able to do 5 k dps and you will introduce items to make our class more personal in some ways that should imrpove, tanking, dps or healing effects output, kinda pointless, but if content is low give them more grinding so the players don't think as much as they should on the low abundance of content.....

As someone who played Diablo 3 for a period of time the new gearing system reminds me of a npc that was close to Rifts selling random chest, legs or whatever we could want. Musco and whoever said we could buy chest from a npc but the stats would be random or the chest would eb random, thank god for introducing more fng to the game, lets hope the amount of charles bucks or whatever you call them don't drop in a ridiculous low amount so we can actually gear up.

Thanks to Bioware "good decisions" my raiding guilds basically left the game from 4.0 onwards, talking about actually good guilds, Like Dxun Rising, Particle Ops and many others, we had good raiders who could do nim and hm with no trouble, but now instead of gearing through ops« (or using pvp sellers to buy pvp items) i must grind endlessly to reach a position i can enjoy the game, since having a pvp character with 200, but bolstered, is no where near as having a 258 geared character, there are differences. When Charles said they learned from Galactic command i honestly doubt that is the case, otherwise why reset Command renown every season apart from making the player grind XXX levels again to get decent gear, since the drop rate will be lower on low levels than on higher ones, just let it be infinite levels, or with each new season had more levels and for those players who are still in a lower level remove the old gear that is useless and introduce the new one.

  17. No, this game is far easy as ti is. The heroic 2 is still easy as it is. If you are having issues on a 258 character try to think smart and not tank and spank everything, kill the healer or the little ones first, cc the dudes with more hp. I miss the old days when this game was a little harder. When i would travel to corelia and die everywhere because the enemies were hard to kill and strong. Thanks to everything being one slap away from death exploring or even killing anything in this game is a god damn joke and tedious.

also this is the reason why casuals should never have access to 258 gear. The previous system was good, you would only get top gear if you did any nim content. How i miss those days.

  18. Empire, level 70, deception assassin

    Empire/70

There is no way you can solo Heroics. :( It's kind of OK for H4 but not for H2 ?

And the main point is rewards ! If those half-destroyed stone fences and local baobab trees are everything the reputation vendor can offer, then why bother ?

Nto sure how you could not solo that heroic 2, but ok ... Heroics used to be hard, but then players complained that they could not do solos tuff. The name of the mission even says it heroic+2, and this is a mmo not a solo game.

  19. The heroic 4 is ok as it is. Players have been carried for to long thanks to the policy of one punch rule since 4.0. I want stuff to be harder, not to be suggarcoated all the way and have 258 or whatever gear will come in the future. There is no hard content in the game apart from some nim bosses
