    Hey folks,

     

    I wanted to stop in to this thread and address some of the questions/concerns that have arisen since we introduced Weapon Tunings yesterday. First off, please keep the feedback coming. We have seen a lot of feedback relating to things like drop rates, adding the tuning to Collections, etc. The team is actively looking at all of your feedback and considering what future changes, if any, need to occur. Here are a few of the common questions we have seen:

     

    Is the Weapon Tuning more rare than other rare items?

    The Weapon Tuning's drop rate is on par with most other rare items found in a pack. At times there are rare items which are exceedingly rare, such as the Unstable Lightsaber, but the Weapon Tuning is not one of them. As a note, we are looking at more clearly designating that extra rarity as Platinum in 4.5.

     

    Are Weapon Tunings only going to drop from the Cartel Market?

    Although we introduced the system through the Cartel Market, there are plans moving forward to have Weapon Tunings that are not a part of the Cartel Market. That being said, future packs will likely contain them as well.

     

    My favorite item doesn't have a Weapon Tuning Slot, will you be adding more?

    Yup! In fact, we will be making a thread in the Suggestion Box forum where you can let us know specific weapons that you would like to see a Tuning Slot added to.

    So I was leveling another toon as I really can't bring myself to grind the CXP for GC. Hell one toon of mine had like 6 boxes in a row that were utter garbage, nothing but burn items. So I noticed that my chapter end XP was not as reported. So I took a few screen shots and put them up here http://imgur.com/gallery/V6ilN . The mission log says almost 1M points, but I was receiving less than 100k. After having this happen 3 times in a row, I just couldn't even stomach playing. I mean really? I am just shafted 2.4+M and the reply from customer support is "it's a bug" and we will fix it in a future patch.

     

    Shouldn't they take a moment and just grant me the damn XP?

    I agree the OP and other guy have proven the point, but that said I kinda LOVE these videos. OP and other guy, please don't stop! They are hilarious!! Maybe on the snooze fest ones you could do like a high speed version? I don't know much about the way you make these vids.

     

    I would love a series of these where you go around fighting all kinds of things.

    OK so first I posted this as I was getting done for the night so I didn't try any of the ideas put forth. So I just logged in and tried to call her as a comp to use, and she is not available to be called. So apparently last night's attempt to reclaim her was not successful. So I will now try to go get her again.

    Can you actually summon SCORPIO? She should be listed under "Main Characters" at the top of your interface if you can summon her. If not, then the terminal did NOT return her as I've stated in the above paragraph, meaning it's a bug.

     

    Went to Oddessen and used the terminal again. RESULT: She actually showed up this time!! She was summoned to my side as I did not have an active companion at the time, and she is again returned to service! Thanks for the idea and maybe I just hit a glitch last night and it has fixed itself.

     

    so you spent a few million credits on getting SCORPIO's level up, you can get credits anywhere and your throwing a hissy fit because you spent the credits that are meant to be spent anyway. i fail to see where your entitlement logic comes into this to be honest.

     

    I am not throwing a hissy fit, considering even the Dev's agreed it really wasn't fair, and gave Scorpio back via the terminal. It really wasn't about the credits, time, or effort spent, it was about how it came out of no where, there was no way to make it not happen and basically my "choices" did NOT matter. Also once it happened I CHOSE not to play the chapter on any other toons. Not exactly what I would imagine the Devs wanted as part of the game design. So since the Devs gave us the option to return her, how it is being "entitled" to want that mechanic to work?

    So has anyone tried to get Senya back yet? is she the same as Scorpio?

     

    If this is the case I will not be completing KotFE on any more of my toons. I spent a bunch to level both Scorpio and Senya on multiple toons and if they are not truly coming back then there is no reason to gimp my toons.

     

    Did you try the terminal in the side room of your Alliance base. The one where you got the rewards for levelling your alliance. Near Hylo if i recall

     

    Yes that was how I thought we were able to return Scorpio to service. However she is not available to be selected on the Crew Skills Menu.

    OK so I was all amped up to get my LVL 50 Scorpio's back. I mean I spent millions to level her on a few toons so she could be a crafting mule. 4.6 came along and there was a blindsided loss, just gone nothing I could have done to prevent it. BioWare decided that it wasn't exactly fair. We all rejoiced! We weren't going to be screwed as their was ZERO warning, and no way to avoid it.

     

    So early launch of 4.7, I can't wait. I get my very expensive crafting comps back. I blast thru CH 16, say what you will I liked the chapter. I race back to Oddessen to get back my needed crafting comp, I use the terminal, yes I get it NOT supported, and I select her to return!!! OMG yes! Finally!!

     

    Decide to craft another Relic to match the rather sexy relic I was just given.....wait...where is she????...I did get her back right?....She is in my inventory of companions I can use, but not in my Crew Skills Menu?!?! ........... Wait this just can not be right. I mean what is the point of her (and others return) if she isn't available to use as a crafting companion?

     

    Really BioWare? She is just a running companion now? Seriously?? I do NOT need another companion to breeze thru "content", as I have like 30+ of those, I spent millions on her so that she could craft those sexy schematics I have learned along the way. PLEASE tell me this is an error and that she was meant to return to my crafting roster where she was needed? Because is this is your idea of making her useful again you have made a huge miscalculation.
