    2. PvP gone

    3. Operations wut dat is?

    4. Cartel Market more packs

    5. Gameplay/Quality more cutscenes, and class stories

  2. It all boils down to the new marketing strategy applied to most MMO's. The new business model, which generates more money for ther designers(Aware in this case) is make the game F2P but use micro transactions to make money(Caryel market). You don't have to like it, but it's the way MMO business is now.
  3. By what you read on the board's right now.

After all the posts yesterday saying the game was broke from the 1.1 patch i went home expecting to not be able to log in/play or have bad lag and tool bar not working. Non of that was the case by 6pm est last night. logged in with no problem's every thing was working as it has been plus the days update's.

In a few days a lot of the people un subbing will go quietly into the night and we can have semi normal conversations on the game and things we hope will get fixed from the people who actually want the game to be fun for them and plan on hanging around.

If you haven't playe'd it yet it is fine. Give it a try yourself and don't be put off by the minority. Like any 1 month old MMO there are bugs and such. BW will be fixing.

Keep your chin's up people! Most of us are having fun and will continue too.

Valgar lvl 38 sentinel of the republic!

I too am new, less than 2 weeks. I'm a fairly heavy casual SW fan.. Great game. I didn't realize the game was so new.

  4. Naming policies are rarely enforced at character creation in most MMOs. As well as many message boards.

Typically offensive names/words need to be programed into a database somewhere and this takes time. Also some words could be innocent in one context and offensive in others, depending on the words/letters around it.. It would also take the people in charge to know and understand every slang term for everything offensive around the world. Using foreign letters (ascii characters) , or misspellings also avoid most name checkers.

If you find a name that offends you and violates the naming policy then report the name. In a couple of days they be forced to rename the character. If they are still using the name, report it again.

It doesn't matter what type of server it is. I.m on an RP server, there's ZERORP'ing on there. I constantly get invites to dual/PVP. I left EVE Online because I hate PVP. Why I joined an RP server, but that does not matter.
