  1. This. They're really cheap compared to the in-game currency prize so it's probably the thing you get the most value out of.

Really convenient in instances where you can't use a normal speeder and to quickly fill up your companion's health (just hit the boots and click them off and you have full companion health in 0,2 secs)

I can't find them anywhere in the store. Under which tab are they?

  2. I have windows 8 and I haven't ever had my PC crash...and I have been using the release version since before it was officially released in stores. The game runs fine, in fact it runs better then it did on Windows 7 for me...

    Same for me.

  3. oh, leveling as a healer is very convenient actually. this game has companions that do the tanking/dpsing for you, so you won't have to worry about a loss in damage. also, healing your companion gives you good practice for group play.

Just healed a couple of Heroics, going to try questing as a healer, should be fun. ;)

  4. Indeed it is pricey, though I still have enough Cartel coins to get it. Just need legacy lvl 5, which is frankly a bigger obstacle right now.

Nope, I just purchased it for Cartel coins. It's a great perk to have for sure. If you're purchasing for credits you need lvl 5 prestige though.

  5. I agree with Never to a point.

The level you are at - 35 - is about the time when you need to make the choice heal or dps. In earlier levels, so long as your advanced class can heal, you can heal in flashpoints. And the same thing can be said for tanking. It gets harder as you approach the mid-30s, but I managed to heal Colicoid War Game (a level 41 FP) as a Pyrotech Mercenary Bounty Hunter when the group healer bailed.

The field respec legacy feature is nice, but it does cost 200k like Never said, which can be expensive for a first time player with only one character.

  6. I'm gonna say "it depends".

If you happen to get a group that's over-level for the flash point, hybrid heals are fine.

Otherwise, you're basically asking to be kicked.

If you que as DPS, you're much better off, being hybrid. I think groups are much more forgiving of a DPS who throws an extra heal in a pinch, than a healer who can't keep up because he spent half his skill points on DPS.

Okay, thank you. I'm asking cause a quest asks me to complete Flashpoint Tarel V (sp?).

  7. If you really want to queue as both, you should buy field respecc from the legacy -> character perk for 200k

You should have a full heal specc, because of the channeled and later the aoe heal you get in the tree

and healers have way shorter queues than dps's, so if you want to queue for fp's I'd tell you to do so as heal

Thanks! I didn't see the perk. Does it have any cooldown?

  8. Hi all,

I started playing about a week ago and am a lvl 35 Jedi Sage. I've got a question regarding que'ing for Flashpoints using the Group finder. I can mark myself as heal and dps in the finder.

Do you need to be spec'ed deep into heal in the skill tree to be able to heal Flashpoints? Or can you run sort of a hybrid spec, where you can dps as well as heal a Flashpoint? Because when I get in a group I don't have time to respec accordingly. So if I'm deep in heal and get picked as dps, I will be virtually worthless and vice versa.

Or how do people manage this?

    Thanks
