  1. Btw i never quit because I enjoy the challenge of trying to carry people who dont know what theyre doing but i cant blame people who do quit, it can be quite frustrating playing matches with people who literally dont seem to understand this is an objective based game and kills mean nothing.
  2. Hed rather leave than waste his time. A lot of people could care less about the valor credits or comms they want to have fun and fun isnt spending 10 minutes being the only person who has any clue what theyre doing and getting rolled by the other team repeatedly because no matter how good you are you wont win 1 v 8 or even 4 v 8.
  3. There is so much more wrong with pvp than the premades. They just seem more of a problem because they usually take advantage of the real problem, ****** *********** balance in this game.
  4. Most classes get their interrupt circa Lv.18. Use the interrupt. Stuns, distance changers, or even just choosing one person to go troll healers into healing circles are an effective means of taking healers out of fights.

     

    There's nothing OP about healers at the moment, at least nothing more OP than Snipers in general. Yet, the rest of us aren't complaining about those Snipers who have a move that under the correct circumstances can take off a quarter of your HP with no cast time, now are we?

     

     

    Sounds like another healer who couldnt hack it as dps and decided to play easy mode.

  5. ITT a DPS calls a Healer no skill.

     

    All i know is 1 on 1 all these morons who proclaim healing is balanced wouldnt take me below 50% if they were another dps. Yet as healers they can just heal themselves indefinitely until their buddy pops in to enter the fray. Thats not balanced or skill. Thats called imbalanced and game breaking. Hope they have fun when they're the only ones left playing.

  6. Am I the only one that thinks PVP healing is a bit ridiculous right now?

     

    Let me first state that I know my gear isn't maxed and it does still need some updating (full Partisan, 1 piece of Conq) and this isn't a whine post, simply curious if anyone feels the same as I do.

     

    I've always thought of healing in pvp as a support aspect, not a sole role. Healers in pvp are so efficient they are nearly impossible to bring down without multiple people focusing them. That being said, bring 3 healers, win. That's the new pvp system, it's not about skill imo, it's about how many healers you have.

     

    It's pretty amazing how I can be hitting someone really hard, just to have them go from almost dead to full health. It's incredibly frustrating. Switch to the healer, another healer heals them. Or they pop their Paladin bubble or CC you, run away 1 cast top off. It makes pvp unbearable.

     

    Once I blow my stun or interrupt they have free reign to just out heal any dps. One class should not require a team to take down.

     

    For example, last game I played I did 350k dmg and 5 kills... another game I did 400+k and 0 kills. Something is wrong here... again, my dmg may not the best, but it still doesn't add up.

     

     

    incoming 15 healers who couldnt hack it as dps tell you to "focus" or "l2p" or "interrupt" or other nonsense to explain why their no skill *** can dominate.

Yes, I love when that jugg or powertech follows me to the off-node.:rolleyes:We also need one for the guy who goes afk while guarding the off node in CW or NC, and then gets slaughtered when the reds come to visit. Just had a guy like that, ended the WZ with a bunch of defense medals, but 0 damage, and a death.

     

    I actually prefer it when the capper/s doesnt even bother to kill them and theyre just standing there 'guarding' the other teams node.....

  8. section x, crew skill slot and possibly quickbar slots are IMO essentials that you are missing. guild bank access helps if you use guild bank.

     

    nice things to have would be color matching, hide headslot, companion customization, event equipment authorisation (not the same as artifact equipment).

     

    I feel like there's something else I'm missing here, but can't think of it at the moment.

  9. If your 1 guy can 'delay' 3 guys for 10 seconds the reverse is also possible. There's no reason to assume your side is the only side doing this and at best it's an even trade.

     

    I realize sometimes you got to attack aggressively but I'm talking about guys who literally have no chance of winning and just keeps on run up and die. Tripping over your corpse is not delay. Usually you'll see this guy killed while the enemy is making a straight line and simply using their best instant attack as they ran past the lone attacker.

     

    And no you did NOT keep 3 guys occupied if they sent 3 guys to their natural for whatever reason. Those guys are supposed to deal with any intruders and you just walked into a trap. The best thing to do is not attack their natural if you know for sure 3 guys are already there, because you'd have a huge advantage in another battlefield elsewhere (7v5). Even in the heal strong environment, 7v5 is usually enough to believe you can overpower the enemy side elsewhere. No you won't always know how many people they sent to their natural, but if you see 3 of them and 1 of you, you really should turn back, especially for a map like Hypergates while dying matters a lot.

     

     

    Any decent team wont have 3 guys just sitting there twiddling their thumbs defending something that isnt being attacked, even bad teams because people get bored and run off and hate defending in the first place.

     

    Sending even a lone suicider somewhere A)keeps the other team honest and B)can attract other defenders when they stupidly call out "1" and 3 or 4 rush off to 'help'.

  10. Repeatedly send in tickets, and tell them that sometimes when you use this exploit on accident it gives you a couple free cartel coins as a byproduct. At the very least you will probably quadruple the number of people looking at this issue from .5 to 2.

     

     

    i think you give them too much credit on the .5. I dont think ive ever got a response on a single ticket I sent in whether it had to do with cartel market or bugs Im 99% sure that nobody reads any of them.

  11. If you can keep 3 guys occupied with 1 guy even for 10 seconds, you did a kick *** job and considering how many people cant help but stick around till they get their kill sending 1 at 3 or 4 is very effective at letting your team outnumber them at the node you actually want....
  12. The difference between average healers and good healers got a lot smaller in 2.0 though, which kinda does make it a bit healer heavy lately

    Which makes me laugh because so many healers who post and defend this **** were studs before 2.0 and now...theyre just like every other scrub. Way to make your class trivial, I can find a guy who has played for 2 weeks and can do the same thing. Healing is so easy you can make your gf do it even if she hasnt played any games....ever. But lets not fix this at all, lets let this game completely get borked...whatever.

  13. I found clicking cover fixes this as then youll actually go into cover. Just be aware to go into cover you''l have to set up an alternate hotkey or quickbar because your main quickbar thinks youre actually in cover.
  14. I actually havent played this game in over 7 days(woot).... dont miss it at all. I wont completely give up on it because ive put in so much time so Ill check it out when they patch something or whatever (this whole F2p is actually good for something I can hold off resubbing and test things before recommitting) but Im not holding my breathe. If a new game pops up Ill be more than happy to switch over.... until then Ill pop in once a week/month to see if they decided to fix this broken *** pvp system.
