    Question, it it possible to get above 6k as a single target burst spec DPS without using AOEs and without basically parsing one target ? I imagine AOE/DOT specs will get better numbers in WZ compared to a single target burst spec. I am just wondering how much room for improvement there is on my Deception sin :)

     

    Deception sin doing 6k dps+ has to be near perfect scenario, lots of sorcs with no stun bubble (and not a lot of stun focus on you). I have never done it, got close at 5.85k in deception, but since when do i get ignored in warzones? Hatred 6k is easy, got 7k dying 4 times with 3 being 4 tick doors a few days ago in a voidstar. If you parse on a warzone dummy you should see max possible (without dcds and 100% time on target). Key for any burst spec melee high damage farm is choosing the right targets and target swap on dcd usage.

    Same thing has been happening to me. PvP is much harder when missing 1-3gcds because of this every 10s. I tried a re-install, I'll see how that goes. Good thing Merc dcd's are OP right now. ;-)

    That's impressive heals work Xadra. Nice job regardless of team comp or loss. Would have been interesting to see the damage taken stats from those, I find it funny when teams let the best healer free cast.:D

    SL PvE Raid Guilds Question...

    Any of you guys planning to re-progress in all old content during 5.0? I think no new operations sucked the life out of my raid team. I was just wondering how other raid teams are hanging in there. I have been back for a bit now and still doing stuff I used to do during 3.0 progression; it's sad.

    Gear Summary

    192 6piece 198 head ( yes I know 2 new 4 old is better but I overwrote my old crap)

    Well that parse is not really a good representation of what is really the case. As I mentioned, KBN has made a pretty good argument for moving to 1.5 million dummy parses (read about it here) but the basic thing is DPS is now high enough that the TTK is so low that the difference between a 4.5k and a 4.7k parse is a very tiny number of crits (I think he says like less than 5). Going off what KBN argues here is a more representative parse for me off a 1.5 million health dummy Dreadlightyear 4.5k+

     

    Good post. I did a few more and am going to leave my latest parse until i get some new gear drops. DPS =4572.

     

    Key to lightning is keeping APM high with priorities on cd and lining up polarity shift, recklessness with burst part of rotation.

     

    I'll give 1.5mill a go after I get some new gear to make it worth spending more time on the dummy.
