  1. Hi, if any things worse than logging on and seeing 39 people on the fleet, its seeing one online in your guild. I'm looking for a nice guild which pvp's and pve's EXTREMELY ACTIVE must stress that they have to have 8+ people on at most busy hours, because I just want someone to play with :/.

    My Toons: 55 Vanguard, 58 Merc, 55 Sniper, 25 Sorcerer, 48 Guardian, 15 Consular.

A guild that has pub and empire branches would be great too!

    Thanks

  2. The one before me has already been graded so here are mine

    (I have three warriors)

    Darth Anachyst Surik

    Darth Virya Surik

    Scyon Surik

    1) 8

    2) 10

    3) 9

My Sith Juggernaut is named Vourrech (Deriving from the German word 'vorrecht' meaning 'freedom'; my character is all about freedom for aliens to pursue their passions, and the Sith code is basically about freedom through pursuit of one's passions) and my Scoundrel is named Baareb.

  3. Ok as for mine Darth Dragorok

When born (much like Luke and Leia) Dragorok and his sister were seperated at birth and adopted by two different family's. while dragoroks sister got the nice family he got the one that was killed in some sorta way and then bam he is with the sith

P.s. I didnt feel like writing the whole story

9/10. It's good. As for how Vourrech got of Coruscant, the Jedi and troops that he killed were in a fight with 2 Sith at the time. The Sith decided to bring him to the Empire

  4. Name: Darth Vourrech

Personality: Chaotic Good. Darth Vourrech uses his power and passion to protect the innocent; be it Imperial citizens, Jedi who don't wish the Sith Empire's utter annihilation or poor saps who get in the way. However, in the end, Vourrech is still Sith. He often uses his fear, passion and rage to destroy his enemies, and will not hesitate to slaughter major threats to the Sith Empire who refuse to surrender, or evil people (Sith, Jedi or politicians) who have the blood or suffering of others on their hands. He will also murder all involved with the slave trade, and his love for Vette has only increased his hatred for those involved with the business. While he does believe the Empire needs to change; be more compassionate to it's citizens as well as aliens, and abolish all forms of slavery, he merely believes that assassinating Sith whose ethics aren't up to his standards, and becoming strong allies with the others, are the solution. Regardless, he is still a firm believer in the main ideals of the Sith Empire; strength, intimidation and the following of ones passions, and is loyal to the death to the Sith Empire.

Backstory: Vourrech grew up an orphan on the streets of Coruscant, joining a local gang called the Marauders of Fear. A technological genius, he created his own cybernetics using the armor and tech of Republic troopers he killed, at the age of 9. He was best friends with a 10 year old female Twilek slave named Feen, who Vourrech himself eventually freed from slavery, and they often went on raids for weapons and armor together, until one day, Feen was killed by Republic troopers in a raid gone wrong. Vourrech force crushed all of them in a fit of rage, along with 2 Jedi who were sent in as backup, revealing his skills in the dark side of the force. He was then brought into the Sith Academy, and the rest is history.

  5. Baras was a cunning villain, it makes sense that he would be able to manipulate someone as impressionable as Malvai Quinn. I forgave Malvai, though I made it clear he would have to earn my trust back. Hell, there was a time when Baras came close to manipulating me, it would be hypocritical for me to criticize Malvai for falling for his deceit when I almost did.
  6. I love him the same way I love Adam Sandler's characters in his 90s movies (Billy Madison, The Waterboy, e.t.c) or how I love Curly from The Three Stooges. He constantly screws up and is an idiot extraordinaire, but he's a lovable idiot and a good guy at heart. So yeah, I told him that I would be happy parting as friends, and even tried to give him some wise advice by telling him that killing people as dangerous as Baras's sister was important so that they couldn't escape and wreak havoc. He'll probably just ignore me and keep being a *******...But he was a nice companion.
  7. 7/10

Made me think of Darth Caedus

My female human marauder is named Sinnabon.

Reason: 3 in the morning and I was hungry.

6/10...It made me smile a little.

Not sure what to do know since I already posted both my characters names. Whatevs, I'll do it again.

  8. She thinks she's all that and demands that you do whatever she says because she said so. Darth Jadus has more tact, for crying out loud.

True, but when you're as sexy, cunning and successful as she is, you have the right to think you're all that. I never pissed her off, so I'm not quite clear on her freaking out if you don't do what she says, but when I was doing what she said we seemed to have a lot in common. She even promises you a high ranking position in the Sith Empire when she becomes Empress someday, and regrets that the Empire frowns upon Smugglers.

  9. I wouldn't say she sucked at it per se but I grew up listening to the character being voiced by Arleen Sorkin, including in Arkham Asylum.

Regardless, at least she tried to have her own footing while voicing the character; Troy Baker on the other hand, when voicing the Joker on Origins felt disappointing to me, as if someone was yelling at him every 10s...

FRAKIN' SOUND AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE LIKE MARK HAMILL.

I still think that John DiMaggio was the best voice actor to play The Joker, but that's just my own personal opinion. To each their own. HUGE Harley Quinn fan, and Arleen Sorkin will FOREVER be the GREATEST HARLEY EVER.

  10. Indeed. The fact she...

Dies at the end and there's not a darn thing you can do about it makes it feel the more memorable; Yet another case in point where having no choice whatsoever works at the behest of the character. :D

Dude, I was hoping I could force choke her to death at the end, and I play a mostly Light Side Sith Juggernaut.

  11. Neat that there is a lot of story, but this high quantity sadly has meant a downright dramatic decline in quality compared to previous Bioware games.

Both the quality of the voice acting, the storylines themselves and the narration are simply not very good at all.

Yes it's an MMO, but not even amongst the major characters theres much noteable voice acting going on.

A lot of it is quite poorly written when you start analysing it a bit, motivations rarely match with backgrounds of characters. Usually rediculous scenarios are thrown in for the sake of adding a good/evil decision.

I mean, what idiot designed the esseless? why would a reactor reset vent engineering? Why is there zero emotion or sense of urgency comeing from asara and the guard officer during an urgent situation? How would Asara be less noticeable in a guard uniform when she's the only woman and only twi'lek amongst the guards?

KOTOR's opening showed how an attack on a ship needs to be handled, it had the urgency of a new hope's opening, the desperation. We don't even get a dramatic soundtrack here.

Thats just one example of many. As for quality of voice acting, even the most minor NPC in KOTOR had a unique voice, filled with emotion. It was much more immersive even while many NPC's shared the same face.

And for the narration.. it just does not work so well when you never get to see the enemies plotting, or other important situations where you as the player are not present to see it.

Malak, Loghain, Saren and many other great villains of other Bioware games would not have been very memorable if we only saw them when actually encountering them. It's the cutscenes that show them away from the player, that makes you want to take them down.

In all of TOR, I have yet to find a descent villain. Practicly all of them are nothing more than cartoon villains and juvenile heroes. It lacks the maturity of previous bioware games.

Where KOTOR captured the atmosphere and immersion of the star wars movies very well, TOR barely seems to be the same setting even.

-I thought the voice acting for the Sith Warrior storyline was great. Could really sense the fear, happiness, sadness and fury of the characters

-Darth Baras is a GREAT villain. He is scheming, highly intelligent, malicious, occasionally playfully sadistic, short tempered and his voice actor is INCREDIBLE. And how the hell is Darth Malgus juvenile or cartoony? He has a GREAT tragic backstory, a great, unique personality and presents a decent debate for whether he is an anti-hero, an anti-villain or an outright villain.

Why do you play this game if you hate it so much? The last time I felt so much hatred and venom for a game, it was DCUO (DC Universe Online), and I ditched that game after a few weeks.

  12. Have you considered defecting to the republic?

How many times do you want me to say it? There is a way to be ethically questionable, vengeful and feared without being a soulless Mary Sue. That's like saying that The Punisher should join Carnage because he kills people.

  13. Uhhh, Niar wasn't on Taris. The PC is. Killing settlers.

Oh yeah...SO sorry, completley forgot about Taris, one of my least favorite levels. But even there I tried to make strides to have as little casualties as possible.

  14. Did you skip Imperial Taris or something? Niar was targeting legitimate military targets with civilian collateral.

Taris is about targeting civilians specifically to break the Republic's will to fight.

Are you talking to me? Who said I skipped Taris? Who said that I thought what she did there was okay? If anything, further proof that she's an evil, one-dimensional, unlikable Mary-Sue.
