By lengthening the season this way, we are able to reduce the amount of time players need to play each week to complete the full PvP Season. This will allow you to progress through the season more slowly and make it easier to take breaks if life situations happen.

How does this work exactly? 7000 points over 12 weeks is 583.3 points per week, 9000 points over 16 weeks is 562.5 per week. The difference here around 1 game per week assuming no wins, but there's 4 more weeks of it. If anything this seems to extend the grind, and the rewards we get instead are warzone medpacks (things we can buy with credits) and an emote?

Would much prefer 7000 points over 16 weeks and 20 pvp tokens per season without the achievements

  2. I'm not sure what the purpose of this change is. This pushes alt conquest from from reputation token to buffed heroics. Is this supposed to artificially increase play time to impress some investor? I just can't see how this change is going to make the game better.

I can't speak for everyone, but it's not going to keep me in the game longer. It's just going to lessen the number of alts I use for Conquest each week.

This has definitely been the impact on my gameplay as well. I only really play content on a couple characters, while the rest have their conquest completed from me logging on every reset to grab the conquest points, and maybe check the cartel market since the daily deals reset around the same time.

  4. After scrapping so many of them in the FE/ET expansions, I think it would be nice to get a proper skytrooper for ourselves. Standard, scout or heavy configurations are all fine. Since the skytroopers are already in game with rigging and animation it should be quite cost effective to implement into the CM, if I'm understanding this correctly.

  5. I think helmets that better fit certain species would sell pretty well, even if said species are non-playable or simply fit under normal helmets. Zabrak, Trandoshan, Kaleesh and so on. Maybe even Mandalorian variants. We already have the Crimson Talon helmet that seems to be based off of Sidon Ithano's Kaleesh helmet/mask, and the Pyke Syndicate inspired outfits, so why not expand further?

  6. From what I can tell from this page here:
    https://swtor.jedipedia.net/en/search?q=dye+module&patch=7.4
There seems to be an additional chrome black dye set added, which is distinct from the metallic black dye set. Looking at the metallic black dye I've already found via hypercrates, it appears to be a separate item as it has remained as a metallic black and black dye (or rather, its name was fixed compared to when it was named "[]" ). I don't see any official announcements on this dye, but I do think this is one of the winning combinations in terms of color, hopefully you guys will also add a chrome white and black set next.

Would you mind sharing other armors and how are they colouring?

Not great, to be entirely honest. I can see the tech working out if I had a better combination, but the current options won't get me spending my CCs.  Here is metallic black/black and gold/chrome white.

  8. After opening up 13 hypercrates (shout out to the person that put 25 on the GTN), I managed to find a few of the new dyes.
One thing I've noticed from previewing these dyes is that after previewing the newer dyes a few times, some of the colors gets 'stuck' to the preview, and overrides the color of other dyes previewed. When applying the dye on the actual slot, the visual bug with the preview window is applied in the game, but a change of location will reset the armor back to normal.

  9. What it says in the title, should give an effect similar to Captain Phasma's armor. Having a relatively neutral secondary color would be a great way to show off the upcoming new color tech. A brown/metallic dye combo would also work well for the "cloth with armor pieces" type gear in the game.

  10. Pretty much what the title says. Both of these sets are available from the Ambassador vendors in the Cartel Bazaar, but while a lot of the other items available from that vendor are BtL, these two are BoP. If these were available for cheaper, that wouldn't be an issue, but as it is, it takes a lot of grind to just get a single piece. For example the Outer Rim Hunter chest piece costs 20 gray helix components, 30 rakghoul DNA canisters and 26 completed bounty contracts

  11. While the exact armor is not in game, and I support it being added, preferably as a direct purchase or legacy set, the Marauder Elite chest+legs, with a primary red dye, the Force Sentinel gloves and belt, along with the destroyer's helmet comes very close, for now.
  12. So in the Revan novel it is mentioned that the Imperial Guard is enhanced with the Dark Side, and made to be completely loyal to Emperor Vitiate. The Imperial Guard went insane during the SoR expansion, and later on we see that in KotFE Acina is now guarded by these "Imperial Honor Guards".

My question is that is there an official explanation for these new guards, are they similar to the old Imperial Guards but just enslaved to Acina, or are they more comparable to the Senate Guard during the Clone Wars era?
