  1. ESO dont have premades, sicne theres no instanced pvp zones, All pvp is in OPEN AREA and MASS pvp with 100s vs 100s players. Therefore grouping is not that essential as it is in swtor. Which is the reason swtor neede to improve the balance.

So what happens when you are lolrp'ing out in the open world and a group of opposite faction (or however they're labeled) happens upon you and sends you to a spawn point? Are you going to march out to where you were by yourself? Hope that someone invites you to a group for some modicum of protection? What happens when factional balance gets out of wack (and it will).

    I really don't get your view... I'm sorry, I just don't.

There will never, ever, ever, ever, be an MMO designed that will do anything but ENCOURAGE grouping... That's the genre. If you want to solo your way through a game, then I suggest when you shop for your next one, use the little filters and avoid anything that says 'multi-player.' Otherwise, I suggest you roll a stealth class, AND STOP JOINING INSTANCED PVP, to which you seem to have a very real aversion.

  2. theres over 100 PAGES of threads complining about premades is you search the forum for the Words "premade" and "premades". Theres NO other thread or issue in SWTOR that is that BIG!!

    nuf said?

This is mostly due to the fact that ONE person keeps necro'ing and creating them.

  3. Theres no skill, per se in this game . This game is GEARbased. We have expertise that further graviatites away from any SKILLS needed. U jus thave to repss the buttons in right order. Every skills has a comment that helps u understand in what order u need to press them. NO SKILLS needed per se.

And premades has HUGE advantage vs random teams.

If you took the amount of time you spend ************ and moaning on the forums and used that time to either:

    1) actually play the game

    2) invite someone to a group and then select 'join as group'

    3) look for a new game,

you'd probably find that you'll become a happier person. As it stands, no one wants to play with you because you're just miserable and lonely.

  4. We have seen similar posts on what you have reported in this thread. The rating disparity you have shown in your results is entirely possible, although very unlikely to happen on any consistent basis. I wanted to assure you that our team is aware of these reports and is tracking data behind our matchmaking to look for any potential issues.

    Thanks!

11/21....the last dev post in the pvp forums. Track that data, boys!

  5. Yeah, "WOW". OK, let's just have everyone keep cheating. That's awesome. I gave the exact server, time, instance of this. It's happening all day every day. I would welcome someone at EA/BW to check the logs and call my bluff.

    OK..I'll bite.

kills is actually 23-2...considering this is lowbies, I'm guessing this is your first toon? If so, welcome. If not, like I said, I'll bite.

  6. Arenas and warzones don't care about faction or whatever faction imbalance there may or may not be. Cross-server q's are apparently not an option. The 8 AC's on one side allegedly mirror the other...

Why not open the lines of communication btw the fleets and let us build cross faction teams?

  7. Not much I can say here that hasn't already been said, so I'll just share an anecdote: The other day I was on with my 55 DPS vanguard, and none of my guildies were free to PVP, so I solo queued. I got into a Huttball match which went south almost immediately, because it was clear nobody knew how to play. They players on my side probably never PVPed much before 55, leveled, figured they were now Ultimate Bad-A**es, and decided to start.

At one point we were down 4-0. I was behind the wall along with three other people. One of our team, had miraculously gotten the ball and reached the first set of catwalks towards the enemy goal line. Down in the pit near our side were two enemies with 1/2-3/4 health. The wall drops, I run for the ramp to get to our ball carrier . . . and the other four run out and jump straight into the pit to start deathmatching the two enemies. Our ball carrier has no protection and no place to pass, dies, and the other team quickly scores their next two goals for the 6-0 shutout.

Now, these guys who had run into the pit scored decent damage for a PUG match. Two of them near 600k. And I'm sure they saw the scoreboard, thought, "GOD I AM SUCH A BAD-A**," and couldn't figure out why we lost.

There's no helping people like that.

Maybe we should bang our collective drums a little more loudly concerning the idea of 'televising' matches on screens throughout the fleets. Not only does it hold entertainment value, but maybe, just maybe, a little educational value as well.

  8. Recently rolled a jugg going up the Immortal tree. Other than class quest, I'm solely interested in pvp

Scoured the forums and having a hard time finding info that is currrent.

Should I go full tank gear or I have seen in some threads, that dps gear is the way to maximize utility.

Also, what is the best augment set up...I know this probably depends on armor/enhancement set up.

I main a slinger, have vg, sage, sent, op...Jugg is quickly becoming my favorite.

    Thanks for any advice/links.

  9. No! Let it be like it is! I love when I force leap to an enemy and duddently BOOM!

I like to throw it on a target I'm not really focused on, listen for the boom and chuckle. Added benefit of course, is knowing that when your focused target is down, someone's already working on your next one.

  10. PreCU, Intrepid went to bloodfin and dominated them under the tag -IB-

    Post NGE

Rebels on Chilly after the server merge left for starsider, so many of the imps formed LOS and played pub side.

    After Chilly got conquered

LOS and myself went to bloodfin, flurry... Both got conquered

A certain guild from starsider came over to flurry challenging us, immediately left 10 days later. I don't recall them winning a match when I played, but apparently in my absence they got their lone victory.

We all quit and played aion, quit aion, etc.

Then geer and friends joined me on starsider, back to bloodfin, then chilly in the evening and starsider later at night...

That got boring... and beta started for this game.

  11. What class are you? If you're a class with a generator/focus bolster may be increasing the armor rating of the armoring in that up to that of a lvl 78 armoring (highest PvE item level), it does this for hilts/barrels to keep PvE ones from being BiS so it stands to reason that it would do it for an armoring in an OH as well. I don't think that would account for all of the extra armor rating but it could also be doing the same for every armoring.

This would make PvP gear much better since if the armor rating is increased to level 78 armoring you have the same damage reduction from your armor as an endgame PvE geared char except you would also have the additional DR from having full expertise.

Gunslinger..so no impact from anything other than the 7 armor slots.

    2nd part is helpful, thanks.

  12. Bolster buffs armor rating and Offhand and mainhad tech/force power to the highest PvE teir this is to prevent PvE armorings and Barrels from becoming BiS in PvP, that's why you seeing the rating jump

    That's the answer I couldn't find. Thanks.

So obroan and whatever highest tier PvE gear is atm, bolster to equal numbers?
