I'm personally most interested to hear about the Companion Alliance. If I recall correctly, we were told that they would tell us about it close to launch. I'm pretty sure with less than a week before Early Access that we might hear something on Thursday/Friday about it.

On the IGN post-show they explained the transition from our current story to the new on: They mention that our characters are frozen in carbonize and years pass. When we awake, both the Empire and Republic are essentially gone and we are all that is left to stop this new "Fallen Empire".

Yea after i got mine it wouldn't give me a link or a list of codes either. That was strange.
I redeemed a code earlier this morning, and didn't get a link either. Checked back just now several hours later, and there was a referral link there.

did you just not read one of the dev comments its not because of a big its because they put something extra in
Here ya go:
To clarify two points in the thread. Although I don't have exact timing yet, Game Update 2.2 will not be tomorrow (6/11) at all. The maintenance is delayed past tomorrow. As for the specific bug. What we needed to fix were some critical bugs inside of the the new Nightmare Mode Operation, which would need to be fixed before the Update went live. Upon implementing those fixes the Game Update itself became unstable. That is what we are working through now.
Hope that gives a bit of insight.

Mine was probably my first time on Taris (Republic) and seeing all the KOTOR connections:
This includes everything from exploring the crashed ruins of the ship, fighting off rakghouls, and the Outcast questline in the caverns. The speeder quest near Brejik's Run during the bonus totally had me geeking out

Only on the Public Test Server. They need people to get to 55 to test the new content fast w/out waiting for them to level up normally and this is the fastest way to do it for them.

On this short and long list of things the game needs in the coming months.
SGR is not one of them. While I truely think it should have been included at the beginning of the game and should be added at some point since it was not in to start. It's doesn't need to be added in any short amount of time.
It needs to be done right, Not some thrown together dialogue to appease SGR couples and those that are just groupies.
Spend your BW/EA development time on current game issues and much needed content in form of long term play. Get the game running better, get the content people actually play and not some 10 secs dialogue option that fades to black and leaves the rest to imagination (which BTW is the way Hetero scenes work) -
It needs to be in game but it should have been a back burner idea slowly worked on to be right and not just thrown together.
So much else needs to be worked on in the game Vs having a 10 secs dialogue option to make SGR couples feel they got there monies worth.
So much this. Should SGRs be an optional conversation dialogue in the game? Sure. Is it a huge priority at the moment? In my opinion, not really.

The idea of forcing people to PVP to gain Pierce/4X just to be able to get other companions in the future is absurd. I'm not sure what the logic was behind putting a PVE companion character behind a mission that required PVP content to be completed. I suffered through the 20 missions to get 4X on my main Sent and was planning to never to this companion quest again (save for my Warrior/Trooper who got them automatically). But hearing that future companions might be gated behind the quest to acquire Pierce/4X is really disheartening.
Please consider allowing us a Mission Terminal-esque system to pick and choose which companion missions we accept regardless of any previous companion missions we have completed, and stop putting PVE companions behind PVP content.
