  2. I like to think I speak on behalf of all American players when I say the quality of EU is sorely lacking and there are really no intimidating EU players unless they stack it up real hard. Maybe equixnosis is good, but that's about it. Zarathruster probably has some potential to be great and there are a few progenitor pilots that aren't terrible like etrigamek and tiara. In general progenitor has much more competant pilots than TRE jumpers TBH.

My advice to TRE "aces" is if you want to get better at this game and get to the pro league like harbringer then u should first test the water in progenitor. That would be like farm league equivalent

I fly on Harb occasionally as Puc on Imp side.

I can handle myself fine there even in unmastered ships.

I won't say I'm intimidating, but your generalization of the player base and your presumption of speaking for all American players sounds more like trolling to me then anything else, sorry.

But yeah, if the games are Reps stomping the poor Imps I jump sides to help out Imp.

If that makes me a bad TRE jumper, then so be it.

If you don't like how TRE works, just stay away from the server, nobody is forcing you to be here right?

We have a community that seems to work for our server just fine. It won't change.

I just don't understand the big deal here.

Anyways, to all others who don't hide their pilot names, cya out there.

    Cheers,

    Puc.

  3. Hello!

We're looking for 2 ranged DPS to fill up our 2nd Ops team.

We raid only on Wednesdays (until we find an additional Raid Lead) from 20:30 CET - 23:30 CET.

A tank is also very welcome.

Besides that, we are always looking for other social players that want to join us.

We're running 2 Ops teams in Hard Mode at the moment and we run a casual raid every Friday for other people.

We're also doing the usual other stuff like flashpoints, GSF, dailies, events and some ground PVP.

If you are interested in any of the above, drop an application here: http://www.unrelenting-swtor.enjin.com/home

    Cheers,

    Puc.

  4. Flew countless battles in strikes and I love the T1 (Star Guard) and T3 (Clarion)

T2 (Pike) feels a bit off.

    For the T1:

Using Ions in any combination will help kill bombers quite well, but you will need some help from others if the bomber pilot is good.

If he just hangs under a sattelite spamming mines and doing nothing else they are easy blaster fodder.

Gunship killing is fine also as long as you have half a brain and not fly straight at them.

If they use Ions and get a jump on you, then yeah, you're screwed if you can't get to a hiding spot fast enough.

Scouts are a problem if they start circling you. Especially the T2 scouts with Burst.

They then simply get outmaneuvered, maybe adding bursts to a strike or increasing evasion or maneuverability may help here or add another weapon type or buff to them that increases short range accuracy for the weapons.

    For the T2:

It feels like a missile gunboat.

If you get into close range of scouts and bombers, the armoring on this ship is so bad that you are pretty much dead.

GS killing can be OK for the same reason as the T1.

Same fixes as above could apply as the T1, but this ship is simply way more squishy compared to the T1.

    For the T3:

Don't think this one needs fixing.

It is a support ship with heavy armor and support abilities.

When I fly this in TDM or even Domination, there are many battles I come out off with 0 deaths.

I have a few guildies that fly these also and they have the same situation.

Even in TDM we end up in the top kills section.

The defensive capabilities even allow head-on approaches to gunships and still killing them without issues, same with bombers (but under a sattelite can be an issue due to torp lock-on and maneuverability).

Yes, scouts can get a drop on you and if they circle you. All you can do is stay alive while your team mates pick em off.

Again, I don't think the role for this one has to change.

Looking forward to where this initiative is going.

    Cheers,

    Puc, Unrelenting/Red Eclipse

  5. LOL? He is good at 2 things. Boosting to the capital ship and playong 4 man premades but beyond that? Mediocre at best.

But then, that seems to be the criteria for being an "Ace". How fast you can run to your capital ship.

    And you are?

Do I sometimes head to cap ships, yes, if I'm facing a 1:1 in gunship I'm 100% sure I can't win.

    So guilty on that charge.

But then again I usually run all over the map when that happens, so definately not always to the cap ship.

I never do this in my scouts/bomber/strikes, which I play more then my gunship anyway.

Pre-mades, well, to be honest 80% of my time I solo queue.

    But whatever.

Mediocre? Probably, just like to play a lot and have fun, so I guess that's why a lot of people know me.

    Cya in space!

    Cheers,

    Puc (Red Eclipse)

  6. Hey all,

    Question about Item Modification.

I had a nice chest from Esseles and then found 1 from Hammer station for my Commando.

I took out the mods and placed them into the Esseles one (as I already had a higher 1 in there then the one from Hammer Station).

Now I'm wondering if that is good practice.

Does the item ONLY get the stats based on the mods or does the item have some stats from itself also?

    Thanks.
