  1. The Gree event scheduled for mid-October is included in the list of events that will contribute to the DvL progress, but none of the November events are listed. That plus the "ending in the Fall" comments that Bioware have come out with would put the end of the event some time around the end of October, maybe 1 week either way.

if you're correct on this, and from the recent patch notes are an indicator of precise dates, then that means that the event will end on October 25. meaning we still may have a relative amount of time left for last minute operations/HM Flashpoints! :w_cool:

  2. you'll need 20 crates, per specialist to get to level 10 with them, and that's not counting the inflicting comfort missions you get with the droid. the missions themselves, if you have legacy of persuasion III unlocked in your character perks in your legacy tab, would yield you 650 influence points each with the specialists. all in all, though, not counting those missions, you're going to need a total of 80 crates per specialist to reach max level of influence with them (level 20). so, 20 crates to get them to level 10, another 25 to get them to level 15, and another 35 to get to level 20.
  3. The fallen empire could have meant the two great empires that were waging a war against each-other before Zakuul came knocking on doors. and the knights could be referring to the alliance that came from said empires. So depending on your toon and which faction they're from, the toons respected faction could be referred to as an empire, even if it really isn't a textbook version of an empire (an aggregate of nations or people ruled over by an emperor or other powerful sovereign or government).
  4. Custom Operations

    Current problem/issue:

For the past couple of years*we have only seen improved existing operations. There are many challenges to serving all types of players. One group of people wants story mode content with “choices that matters”, another group of people want more operation content. So, to bridge the gap, why not do both?

    Solution:

"Custom" operations! (or random- whichever way it would be more feasible to code). The concept is that these operations would be based similar to how the KDY (Kuat Drive Yards) flashpoints work only with a customization option. Typical operations follow a simple pattern.*Strategy has evolved over time; however, the formula has remained the same.*The formula being an alternating cycle between mobs (M), and bosses (B).

    Example:

    • EV , SnV, and Ravagers: B, M, B, M, Puzzle Boss, M, Main Boss.

    • KP, EC, TfB, DF, DP, and ToS; M, B, M, B, M, B, M, Puzzle Boss, M, Main Boss.

With the exception of “Scum and Villainy” having 7 bosses, and “Explosive Conflict” having only 4, primarily, these operations all have at least 5 bosses. In fact, all the player, or raid leader, would need to do is set the theme and place of operation (snow, desert, Urban/industrial , Volcano, Jungle/Forrest. Ancient Temple) then set what type of mobs they will have to face (Underworld criminals, animals, bounty hunters, defected imperial/republic solders, crazed Sith/Jedi), and choose what bosses they will encounter. There would be 6 areas containing a certain amount of mobs and a boss, or two groups of mobs being before, and after a boss, in that specific area.

In summation this new feature will allow the player(s) to create a custom operation/raids for their group and still use the current operation formulas. This would allow groups wanting more operations content to create their own and allow SWTOR time to develop the game for the groups wanting more story content. Operation groups will still want new operations because nothing beats new story lines/operation. Providing this option would at least offer operation groups 'new content' until SWTOR had some new operations content available.

  5. Well, all he said was 'Nope' when asked about the subject. It can be interpreted as ''No, never doing that'' or ''not talking about it''

:rak_04: you have a good point. it could possibly be that they have a project so tightly under raps that when someone asked him, he nearly thought about answering, but shied away from it by saying nope. we'll either hear more on the subject either after the release, or sometime near the end of the year. it all depends on if they want to clarify on both remarks made from the gamercon convention, and NYCC cantina tour. we just need to be a bit more vocal about it.

  6. so they do get pretty crowded at these events? how many people would be popping in? 80, 90? just measuring on how claustrophobic it can get in there. its a big ballroom, if all three parts are open, highest capacity being 950. ( http://www.westingaslamp.com/floor-plans ) & (http://www.westingaslamp.com/capacity-charts) , that seems to be the floor plans of the place. thoughts?
  7. why stop at just the items and gear? why not add a commendation and credits section to the bank. it would make legacy bound gear almost obsolete though, but it would make getting high end gear alot easier.
