[How to use target mark icons?]

I was able to purchase a marker once i got to "x" level of social points (sorry can't remember the level).

You can then use this item repeatedly - it was only 500 credits

 

The vendor you get it from is the same one you do the quest for social points and buying the badge. So you get shown the way!

i don't have my email yet... but i'm still at work.

i'm assuming Bioware has been considerate enough to call my boss find out what time i finish work, check train times and send me the email as i walk in the door ... if they want to allow me time to make a cup of tea - then so be it!
